He also explained the price difference as opposed to sticker shock when I went to pay. The next day I took my wife's car in for an oil change and squeaky brakes. There was an issue with the rear brakes. They didn't try to sell me new brakes on all four wheels, which they really could have and I wouldn't have known the difference. And the price was decent. I approved a $200 repair. When I showed up to pay, I was blindsided with an additional $215 charge for a part that supposedly broke during the repair, no phone call, no heads-up, just a surprise at the register. I have no idea if it broke on its own or was damaged in the process, and that ambiguity is the problem. A shop with integrity calls you the moment something unexpected happens. I won't be back.

I drive a GDI vehicle so it needs this type of service. Also this was my late wife's car and she did not change the oil consistently - so the Engine Plus Service essentially cleaned the engines internals. Definitely noticed the difference in the car's sound and performance. Service estimate was spot on and the service was done in a timely manner.
