Not sure I want these people to service my dishwasher, after reading the reviews, and seeing the same issues I experienced today, because I called this am due to having scheduled my repair ONLINE for tomorrow - Friday June 2, and the 'lady' that answered the phone, Sam, said she was going to call me because they were not going to be open tomorrow and when I told her that I was able to schedule the appt for tomorrow, she called me a liar, and said the was impossible because they had blocked off June 2 so no one could schedule for that day, yet I have in front of me the confirmation for that appt. Also have an email confirming it as well. Not really sure what I can do if my Extended Service Contract has them for the repair. Wonder what happened to A&E that used to come out. read more

XP-Electronics was sent by Best Buy to fix my 2 year old LG washer. The previous company they sent was terrible so I was expecting the same bad service from XP but I was pleasantly mistaken. The technician, Guy, came to my home on time the first day and diagnosed the issue and come up with a solution... ordered parts... and a week later I had a perfectly running washer- that was it. Guy was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. The last company came out 3 times and could care less. I highly recommend XP-Electronics. Guy was fantastic. read more

I usually don't give bad reviews, but in this case I do want people to know to be careful with this company as they are not competent of performing even diagnostic let alone repairing. They will come to your home just to charge you $100 and then give you large estimate of something that may not even be wrong with your appliance. Be very careful before calling these guys as you may be better of just purchasing a new appliance then given them $$$$ as at the end you will need to buy the new appliance any way. I only gave one star because it said it wouldn't publish anything unless I gave a star. This has no Right being a business whatsoever. The woman that answers the phone in there her name begins with S is the rudest and most condescending person. We had made arrangements for them to come out to our home twice, not only did they never show up but they never called to say that they could not come. So we wasted two vacation days waiting for them to come. When I called to complain and to get some kind of an explanation the woman's attitude was so condescending and she started to yell at me I told her to stop being rude to me and she hung the phone up on me. We were having problems with an over the range microwave. LG authorized the repairs but XP-electronics refused to do the repairs initially unless we produced a sales receipt. The microwave had been manufactured less than a year earlier so it was still in the warranty period. It took a few phone calls to LG to straighten the issue out. Sam, a woman that answers the phone, from XP-electronics called and left a message that everything was all straightened out and that they would be out as soon as the parts came in. A week later she called back and left a message that they would not do the repairs unless we produced a receipt. When I called her back, she refused to acknowledge that the issue had been resolved a week earlier and when I tried to play back her message from the prior week she hung up. I called LG again and they spoke to XP-electronics. They sent a single repair man out to fix the microwave. When he was done, he left the microwave on the counter instead of reinstalling it. By the following day the microwave was not working again. It was making a loud noise. Called Sam again and she refused to believe that there was a problem, denied that their repairman had told my wife the loud noise was not normal, insisted that we pay for the covered repair and then hung up again. Throughout these exchanges, Sam would repeatedly interrupt and not allow us to speak. On three separate occasions she had hung up on us. LG finally assigned another repair company. read more

They came to our house, fixed the appliance and then pushed it back into the cabinetry without re-attaching mounting clips. "Not our job" was their answer, but the undid the clips to access the appliance. They do NOT stand by their work. read more

I was very impressed with the knowledge and expertise of Remi, the technician who arrived promptly to replace the main board in my LG washing machine. The thing that most impressed me is that he called me to get details of the problem I was having before scheduling an appointment. As soon as I began to recount the details of my problem, he informed me that this problem is indicative of a malfunction with the main board and instead of coming to my house to look at the washer, he was going to order the part and replace it. While he was replacing the part, he gave me some useful tips on using my washing machine more effectively. This is a rare attribute in a technician! read more

The tech who called me about my Lowes warranteed washing machine repair was rude and belligerent, demanding paperwork that Lowes had specifically told me not to supply before they would come out to do any repair. They already blew off one appt...no show/no call. I have informed Lowes of their behavior, and am willing to wait until they find another provider for the repairs. If I could give 0 stars I would. My mother purchased a GE fridge from Lowe's less than a year ago. XP electronics contracts with them to service their products. For the last SEVEN months we have been trying to get our fridge fixed from them and on multiple occasions they have cancelled. We also canceled due to the fact that my father had covid and no one was allowed in the house and because my mother was hospitalized due to a brain injury. Sammy the manager told my mother it was "her fault" that the repair has taken this long because of her BRAIN INJURY. Who says that?! Sammy is the rudest most disrespectful customer service representative i have ever came encounter with. And to top it off when they finally came to replace our freezer door the repair man left before the repair was done and refused to call the office to see if he could stay. We ended up using another repair company who came out and diagnosed the display as broken which he thinks had to have been from the XP electronics repair person who replaced the freezer door..... HORRIBLE customer service and terrible repair service!!!!! read more

I took an old boom box with a broken tape deck in to see if it could be fixed and talked to a very nice man who explained that he could fix it, but it would cost more to fix it than it would cost me to buy the latest technology. He explained that fixing a tape deck could be rather complicated. Tape decks are pretty much a thing of the past, but if the price to fix had been low enough, I would have had it done. I really appreciated the time he took to explain the different things that could have gone wrong with it and why each problem would make the cost significantly more than I was willing to spend on it. The CD player on it still works, so I will keep it. I would have given them five stars, but since they didn't actually do any work, I can't comment on their work product. read more

Remi was very prompt and courteos. I appreciate the initial house visit cost was offset to the total bill. Remi had to search for parts For our old tv. He found it, replaced it in minutes and saved us a cost from purchasing a new tv when the repair was far cheaper. He even took the time to explain what blew out and what the repairs did. Terrible. Was referred by my Lowes extended warranty for my dishwasher. Was told by dispatch they would be at my home afternoon Friday. Got a call a day or two before from them saying they would not be there until they ordered the parts and wanted me to report the problem, which I had already reported at the time I originally called dispatch. So I repeated the problem and waited for their call. A week later they called and scheduled another visit, which I stayed home for (second time I had to reschedule meetings), only to find out after three hours that they had the wrong part. I asked the guy to reassemble the DW (he had suggested leaving it), but when I came home that night I found out he had left the door hanging open, my wife had run into it, and broken off the top piece. I called to let them know I wanted them to come out and reassemble; they told me they would have the part the next day, and would I just schedule a repair call, so I said yes. The next day I got a call indicating the part that came was deffective and they would not be there. So here I am, three weeks after I originally scheduled my service call, waiting for the repair, and propping up the door of our dishwasher with a garbage can. Avoid these idiots like the plague. Terrible. We had a problem with our Panasonic flat screen TV. Using the Panasonic help website, we were directed to XP Electronics. The tech came out quickly and told us a computer board needed to be replaced. We were given 2 choices: we could pay an extra $40, have a new part shipped to XP, and have our TV repaired within 3-4 days OR we could have the damaged part sent out and repaired (don't pay $40) and have the whole process take 2 weeks for our TV to be repaired. We opted to pay the $40 to have it fixed quickly. The part did not come in for 9 days . We could not have the repair done on the next available day because we were leaving town, which is why we wanted the TV fixed quickly in the first place. The tech came today and fixed the TV. He was very nice. The tech called XP in Nashua and I spoke to Remi. I had also spoken to him when the part was not here as stated. He tried to blame it on the weather. There were NO storms during the period it should have been shipped and installed. Remi was terrible. He refused to "understand" why we wanted $40 deducted from the bill, and kept blaming the weather. He finally after much arguing offered to remove the shipping ($15). We chose to pay extra to have our TV repaired within 3-5 days. We did not get that. My perception is that Remi does not understand customer service. He never said that he was sorry about what we were told versus what we received. Fortunately, I think that as a customer, you rarely come across a business owner like this. I would never use this company again. read more

Terrible first experience with this crew. They are the local repair service for an extended warrantee I purchased on a Samsung TV, so I had no choice. The guy they sent out knew nothing about Samsung TVs and spent most of his time on the phone trying to find out. After an hour and a half he announced he needed to get authorization for a replacement board and it would take a week or more before we could have it installed. Although the TV worked sometimes before he arrived, he left the TV in a state that no longer worked at all! That is totally inexcusable to leave us with a TV in worse shape than when he started. Not only that, but he only put a few screws back to hold the TV together and took the rest with him! To add insult to injury, he marred up the wood top of our TV stand. I would never use this firm if I had any say in it, but you can't choose the firm that the extended warrantee company uses in your area. I cannot recommend this company at all. They were total unprepared to fix my TV in spite of my providing detailed info on what was happening. If they couldn't fix it, they never should have left it in worse shape. read more
