Had such a good experience in their Salem location that when I had a problem with my computer again I decided to go to the Manchester store it was closer and I hoped to get the same service. Well, at first I though my experience here was wonderful. The guys there were so polite and explained that the reason my recently updated Lenovo wasn't working efficiently was because I was trying to run Windows 11 on only 8BG of RAM. I know nothing about computers and they let me know it's much faster and easier with 16GB RAM. They gave me a very reasonable time frame of a few weeks to update or repair it and a very reasonable rate. They also gave me the option to buy a used recently refurbished laptop that day. I needed the functional computer right away for work so I bought the used laptop and figured I'd get back to the repairs needed on my Lenovo when I could afford the extra time and money. I thought they were awesome and recommended a few people there when it would come up in conversation. ...Embarrassingly for me however, the laptop they sold me had a screen that flickered like crazy. You had to open it at just the right angle and if it wiggled the screen would just go black. I couldn't return it to them unfortunately, no time and no money. It flickered since day 1 and there's no way they didn't know it still did that after they had "fixed it", he started it up at the counter before he sold it to me. The computer was facing him and I have too much trust. -- I just learned that there were likely compounding factors that were why my original Lenovo wasn't working. Because it's very normal for a standard, nongaming laptop to have 8GB of RAM and it didn't take everyone else 4 hours to type a single page of word document. It's been a few years now and my partner who is in tech just told me this. I wasted that critical money and critical time on a piece of equipment that was so dysfunctional that it actually set me back in my search for a new job. In fact I actually had more work now to do to make up for my mistake. Turns out I guess this was just another experience of being fed BS. When you walk in to Microseconds, make sure you're not actually relying on whatever laptop you get from them unless you know your stuff, have the time and resources to go back and fix problems, and are comfortable asking for a full walkthrough so you can make sure your new/used computer is working properly. This girl was too desparate for an option and got taken advantage of. This girl did get poorer service these other reviews I'm seeing. Of course I'm disappointed in myself but honestly you also need to shape it up fellas, you're behavior is disappointing. I hope things have changed there since then. read more

This place doesn't even deserve a star. I went there 3 WEEKS AGO and had been told it'd take 5-6 days. 3 weeks goes by and was told my pc wasn't even checked at. they told me my pc was Behind 1 other pc, called a week later and was then behind 5 other pc's. went there to get it and blatantly yelled "you're not getting a refund" absolutely terrible so called "business" and needs to be shut down. read more

First, very quality service and knowledge. Next, Bruce, and I spent about three hours at the store selecting parts for a custom build. Not a super high end but medium high end gamers P.C. to be used for stock trading mostly. Bruce has many years in the business and goes way back to the original Microseconds business in Salem, where he built my first P.C. It's been a little over 6 mos since he built the current P.C. and she is running very fine. If this one runs as good as the first over time who could complain. The first one is sitting here still plugging along real nice after 8 years. EVGA MB, 16 gig corsair ram, W.D./Solid state drives, Intel CPU, Arctic Air cooler, Antec 900 tower. Kept me up to speed on progress with parts order and when they would be completed. This place is great if you want friendly, quick, and reliable service. I went into the store with a broken hp spectre laptop screen that I needed fixed as soon as possible. The two guys that worked there were extremely friendly and accommodating as soon as I walked in the building.They were sympathetic and tried really hard to find me the best priced option. I dropped my laptop off on 1/19 and was told 2 weeks. After 3 weeks and the fact that they hadn't even looked at my computer I went back to pick it up. I had called multiple times explaining that I couldn't wait any longer. When I got there I was told that the$50 deposit that l left was non refundable!!! No where on my receipt does it say this. I took the laptop to Ace on Elm St and he had it fixed overnight!!! read more

Worst experience ever! I am a veteran who dropped off my computer for repairs after the Veterans Affairs made arrangements with the manager for direct billing. After 2 months and many visits to the store to check on the status of the repairs nothing had been done. I never received a phone call or email update from these people and every time I drove to the store to find out the status, I was given the run around. When I asked the staff why I didn't receive a return phone call after leaving messages on their voice mail. I was told, "we don't have time to return those phone call!" Disappointed!!!! read more
