I have used Cellular Freedom for at least ten years, I'm not sure exactly how long. They have always been fabulous. If my phone has issues, I take it to them immediately, even though I have insurance. The insurance is for if they can't fix it, which only happened once. They are fast, fair and provide a loaner phone. . read more

My iPhone needed a new battery. I went in on a Saturday morning, and was helped immediately. I waited about 30 minutes while they replaced the battery. They made sure everything worked, and charged a fair price. I was impressed with their expertise and helpfulness. I will return when I need another repair or to look at their large stock of used and refurbished phones. read more

Great customer service and repairs, highly recommend! No need to buy a new phone just visit cellular freedom.

We've been going to Shawn at Cellular Freedom almost since they opened, so over many years. He has shared accurate, insightful, useful, economical advice with us every single time. We have purchased several phones from him over the years, both Android and iPhone, and each has been just the right one, for as decent (competitive) a price as we could get anywhere. Appreciate that he warranties what he sells. He takes the time to talk and explain whatever is needed each and every time. He's intelligent, honest, customer-oriented, a clear explainer, and knows how to get quickly to the key points needed. Most recently after dropping my phone and thinking it was beyond hope, I made a beeline to Cellular Freedom in Hooksett. Shawn instantly had a screen replacement, explained why the cost for repair was still better than my other options (replacement, etc.), showed me all that came with it, assured me my phone would be back up and running shortly. Within minutes it was all fixed, and I became a very happy and relieved customer! As long as Shawn is running his business, I will continue to send friends and family to him with no reservations. read more

I was originally with Verizon for about ten years. My one cell phone bill was always over $100 a month, and like Comcast, it was almost like dealing with the mafia. I hated them. Finally, somehow, I found Cellular Freedom. I bought a used iPhone from them and signed up with Page Plus, a smaller carrier who uses the Verizon signal. My monthly cost dropped to $29.95 - less than a third of what I had paid for 10 years. I've been with them now for about 8 years, with zero problems, great signal quality, and friendly service. The owner of the business, Shawn Currier, is usually front and center there to help you. He was the person who originally signed me up and picked out the best deal for my needs. He was right on the money! I would much rather spend my money at a locally owned business than a corporate behemoth. And of course, with superb pricing and friendly service, there's not much to think about. Last year I got a new phone. I went android and bought a Samsung at Walmart. It had to be Verizon phone because of the signal. I went to a Verizon store after I got the phone to buy a protective hard rubber case for it. The salesperson at the Verizon store informed me that because I wasn't in the Verizon system with THEIR phone plan, they couldn't even sell me the case(for $40). Are you kidding? I bought a better one on Amazon for $16. No place is perfect, and I see a few people here who had bad experiences. I've worked with public at large my whole life, and think I'm a pretty good judge of people. My history at Cellular Freedom has been excellent. The owner, Shawn, goes out of his way to help people, and is eager to answer any and all questions. I had a couple of repairs on my iPhone that they actually fixed while I waited! I recommend Cellular Freedom to everyone. read more

Dropped my daughter's computer for repairs. They were fast and did an amazing job, I would recommend them to anyone.

Shawn was awesome! I had no complaints and had no expectations when I brought my phone in damaged. All I wanted was it to be able to turn on/or take a charge so I could retrieve my contacts from it. They not only did that but put the phone back together as it was almost busted. Again no complaints Shawn and his staff were awesome and will go back in the future with any other issues I may have with any of my phones. read more

I brought my phone here and I feel like they made it worse to where I had to get a new phone. I dropped my phone and it shattered the glass. Is still worked fine the only reason I wanted it to be fixed was because of the way it looked. I brought it in and they said it would take about 30 minutes. I went down to Starbucks got a coffee and came back and waited about 30 minutes from that point to walk out with my phone. If looked great and I was able to talk on it while driving in my car I didn't think anything was wrong. That was until I got home later that night and took it off the Bluetooth for the 1st and it I couldn't hear who I was talking to. At this point I can make and receive calls but they had to be on a Bluetooth device. I called them the next day and they told me to bring it in. I did and they said they would call me after awhile to let me know what's up. After working all day I didn't get any updates for them I had to actually call in to see what's going on. Well he gets on the phone and tells me this happens and that they can't fix it but have a guy who can fix it for $100. At this point I'm pretty upset I just can't understand why my phone was working just fine and had a broken screen and I came to get it fixed and now I can't talk to people. I told him I wasn't going to give them more money and I just got it replaced through the insurance (something I should have done to begin with). They have lots of good reviews but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!! read more

Can't complain about anything really, employees are all very knowledgeable. And the girls that work out front are very friendly! Tarah and Kaitlyn definitely deserve to be recognized! *cough* givethemraises *cough* Joe is very talented as a technician and really helps to set the bar for the craft. Danny is reliable and David is very personable and awesome! Only complaint is they make me get my own popcorn... I am too lazy for that! read more

Knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. Skip the kiosk at the mall they don't compare. Ask for shawn!

I went to Cellular Freedom with a complicated problem with my smartphone. I explained my problem to Shawn and he fixed in immediately and did not charge me a fee. Shawn is not only a nice guy, he is very competent at what he does. They really know how to troubleshoot and repair mobile phones, a real rarity in today's market. I'm a customer for life. Cellular Freedom is in the same mall but right beneath the DMV office. I encourage folks to go there for any mobile phone needs. read more

This place is 100% recommend by me! I've been a very frequent customer for 3 years now, (with young kids, screens get broken.) with iPads and phones. This place means it with their warranty. I had an issue (which happens with electronics) no one knew if it was our issue or theirs, any other place would tell you oh well, the owner Shawn is awesome he took it back and we figured a solution out together. I wouldn't take my business elsewhere, ever. They're very reasonably priced for everything! The techs are very knowledgeable!! This place is awesome and if your looking for a reliable place to take your electronic, this is the place! read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. Called to get a quote for a screen repair, I drove 45 minutes....... and the cost was $120 more than what I was quoted. Needless to say I have to find another store to repair my phone. I would never do business with a company than cannot be truthful. read more

My screen was destroyed and they replaced it for a good price and the manager stayed late to fix it. Once I got it back around a month later I figured out that my camera was blurry so I brought it back and the manager said he didn't know if it was the stores mistake or mine but either way fixed my camera at no cost at all. He was very kind and I appreciate him. Definitely recommend this for your iPhone repair. They also fixed it in a timely manner. read more

Absolutely amazing. My wife left her iPhone 6 on the roof of her car. It fell off as she turned onto a busy road and she did not realize it was gone until she got home 40 minutes later. We returned to the location almost 2 hours later to find the crushed phone sitting by the side of the road. Looked like it had been run over several times. Guts of the phone lay 10 feet away from where the housing was. A phone is just a phone, however it contained nearly 9,000 photos from our engagement, wedding, honeymoon, trip to Greece, and most importantly the birth and first 3 months of our new daughter. None of which was backed up to the cloud or anything like that. Irreplaceable memories gone forever. Apple store and Verizon store basically told us we were screwed. Brought it to Cellular Freedom. They took it apart, diagnosed it, and were able to fix it the same day all the photos still there. We could not believe it. My wife broke down in tears. If they could fix this phone they can probably fix anything, I wish I had taken pictures of the smashed device. Thank you so much C.F., we will tell everyone about you. Employees were also super professional and stayed late to make sure I was all set. Seriously impressive operation. Oh and it cost us $110. We probably would have paid $1,000. read more

This review is long overdue. I purchased an iphone for my mother-in-law last year, and fixed my mom's shattered screen on her (brand new) iPhone. Both times we received exceptional, friendly and prompt customer service with a smile, and a reasonable price for the products. All questions were answered thoroughly, too. Thanks, Shawn and company! read more

Been a customer of this business for 18 months now and have never had a single issue. A little bummed they moved from Hooksett to Manchester but i'm sure South Willow street is much more productive for them. Anyway I give these guys five stars. Love this place. Visited for the first time yesterday and ended up learning more about the phones we were thinking of getting, more about how the networks (the service, not the companies) work, and ended up with a better phone at a better price than we would have. Thanks! We'll be back soon! read more

I brought to their attention the prices of parts and labor was excessively high. They blasted my Facebook review post back with argumentative comments, seemed very bullying to me. I took the original post down so the owner would stop the aggressiveness. I hope his behavior changes for the best. read more

I went there with my mother to get my phone screen fixed had to go back the next day because it still wasn't correct. There was burned images in the "new" screen, they said they replaced it with a new screen but it kept doing the same. Till this day my screen keeps popping out, like the clips are not working. Was told that they don't use adhesive on their screens. I am very dissatisfied with the service read more

Bait and switch!!! Emailed asking if the sold a specific part. Same day response was a yes. On same day took an hour detour 2 hr round trip) to be told no, they don't sell just the parts anymore,it's pay parts AND service. Total bait and switch read more

The rudest customer service reps, and they talk out of both sides of their mouths when they caused me a major problem. I now have no service, because on conversion to a different phone, I was given a MA phone number and the IME is attached to an iPhone 6, which I have never owned. We had done business with this company in the past with no problems, and now, they have caused me considerable time and energy asking them to make things right to no avail, since they don't know how to correct the problem! Do Not do business with them. There are other resellers (one near H&R Block on S Willow) who will take the time to help. In addition, the owner states he gave me a loaner phone. Well, it didn't work in the area I was visiting, and as for not paying when service was up, I can't because they screwed up the conversion so bad, that I am attached to a phone that I have never had. I will be taking this business to Small Claims Court, which I have never had to do, for the time wasted, the monies spent, without getting service, and asking the judge for stress-related monies as well! read more

My fiancée got her screen fixed through Cellular freedom, after an unexpected crack in the screen. The next day after her screen got fixed, she found that the speaker on her phone was not working properly and due to the 90 day guarantee that this store offers, her and I went back into the store and got the phone checked. The woman at the desk told us that it would be about 30 minutes, so we decided to leave and come back when we got the call she was told that the screen on the phone came in defective and that they would have to replace the new screen with the old cracked screen until a new phone screen came in (we were fine with that as these things happen). But when we went to get her phone the same woman came out to tell us that while trying to switch the screen they messed up the mother board on the phone and the phone was now ruined, the woman told us that she would need to call the owner and talk to him about what should be done. Once the woman got back to us she told us that they could lend her a phone while they order her the same phone that she had. When asked if this phone would be new or refurbished (like the phone that was originally brought in) we were told that it would be neither it would be a used phone. They would not give her her money back for the screen but instead the money she payed towards the screen would go towards a new phone. Now I understand that it was not the woman's fault as she is just an employee and I understand that accidents happen but she should not have to pay for a phone that was broken by them. Now they have the new phone that they broke and are giving her a used phone, I do not trust that they are not going to fix up her phone that was broken and resell it to get their money back. read more
