When I told him we didn't need it and the services we did have were under my spouses name- the rep told me that he would only talk to my husband even though our service is in my name. Ordered internet last night (Sunday) and made an appointment on Labor Day! They were open! I was ecstatic. I did not want to wait for Internet! I went in and since everyone and there grandmother are out on vacation - it was very chill in there. Reminded me of a TMOBILE store. I'm glad they moved. I had no idea. I went to return my old unused cable box, and the person taking the equipment return added additional service to my account without my consent or knowledge. I was surprised to see this in my next bill. I had to call customer service to correct my account. It seems the people in this store are either not trained to handle accounts or intentionally adding services to accounts (without customer consent) to meet their targets. read more

Dishonest and sly are the only words to describe their service! I went to the Redmond store and I ordered bundle service of TV cables and the Internet. The agent said that the Basic package's price was $59.9. The Digital preferred was $99.99. Since I didn't have a cable box, so the agent said he could rent me one and charged until the day I returned it. The price was $10/month. But I returned the cable box after a week and they still charged me $10! The worse thing was that when I went to the store to ask for upgrades of TV channels to Digital preferred, the agent "Adrian" said that he could gave me a promotion price at $85.8, while the original price was $99.99. I was happy so I ordered the upgrades. But when I called the service number to confirm the fee, the agent said my monthly fee was 146.99! I was surprised and I said it was unacceptable! Then the agent transferred me to another senior agent, which kept me waiting for like 30 minutes on the phone. The female agent tried to persuade me to add home phone service said she could give me a discount for triple service. I said I didn't need a home phone, and she said then she could only offer $104.99 for bundles. So I went to the store for the third time, I found this "Adrian" and asked him to check my monthly fee. And he told me $85.8 was ONLY for TV cables. The Internet fee was not included. So the monthly fee would be $146 or so. I was angry because he tried to cheat me that 85.8 was a bundle service. I said that is unreasonable, so he changed his speech craft and said that he could give me a discount which was $55 for the TVs and and $55 for the Internet. I said the other agent "Lu" said bundle service cost $99.99. So he changed again saying he could give me that price too. I was speechless and disappointed so I canceled both services! So we moved service from house to house, caller weeks in advance and after a mistake BY Comcast install took 9 extra days. We were promised free installation and a better monthly rate by a supervisor.. after install call back. I got first bill and install changed to us and no better rate lol shocker. Called in and was told no notes on account wow shocker again. Make sure if you do business with this company you tape record all conversations they lie to get you off the phone. NEVER trust them. Everyone knows Comcast has the WORST customer service. I went in the store hoping it would be better than the phone experience but it was about the same. The guys were nice, except for one short know-it-all who didn't listen to my question and continually spoke over me driving me to the point of threatening to cancel my service right there. Upgraded Comcast/Xfinity equipment: it took 1.5 days. Returned old equipment, idiot person at Xfinity in Redmond was surprised I knew what a "hard reset" was (dude, I have a Ph.D. in astrophysics). He was an idiot because he managed to delete the wrong modem from my account. Returned home and had to repeat the process of activation with an agent on the phone. I felt a bit guilty for being snotty with the nice, Indian lady-it was not her mistake. read more

I wanted to review my recent experiences with Xfinity. We were moving into a new home but would be having a period of temporary accommodations for a couple months. I wanted to keep my home number and email address, as well as the ability to watch TV online in a house that did not have TV service. I visited the Redmond Xfinity store and Trayon and Oliver were able to accommodate my wishes. I had the impression that what I was asking for was not a usual circumstance, so it took some time to get it worked out. Over the next couple of months I had need to extend the sort of 'suspended service', and they were terrific each time I contacted them. The move went off without a hitch and I'm quite happy to be settled in our new house with my service resumed as expected. read more

Comcast has the worst customer service and service in general. Their system was built back in the stone age and they charge too much for crappy internet. I called to cancel my service since Condo internet is cheaper, faster, and better. The guy I talked to said that I only owed $17 (prorated since I was cancelling only a few days into the new month) which i paid right after talking to him. Then I checked my online account a couple of weeks later and it said I still owed $70. I called customer service again and they said that the online account is not updated and it takes a month for their system to update. Another week later, I received an email reminding me that I still owed the $70 and it's due in a few days. Went to the Comcast store and this guy named Gary said their billing department is separate and he can't change what it says online and said he can guarantee that I didn't owe anything. I asked for a receipt or some hard copy of this statement and said he can't print that. Or he's not allowed to print it. He showed me his computer screen and I asked for a screen shot (some sort of proof that I've paid in full) but of course he can't give me that proof either and he won't let me take a picture of the screen with my account balance of zero. So what's my proof that I didn't owe anything? Nothing. It's my word against his at this point. Again, he said the billing department is separate. Comcast urgh! I used to have such respect for Comcast, now it is at an all time low. Why they lease equipment to the customer that is dirt cheap on amazon is a travesty. They are cheating you. Every time you pay them a bill it is going to pay lobbyists to do all US customers a disservice trying to get the FCC to lean their way, ie traitorship ie equivalent of Isis. Abominable service. Came in to pick up equipment and get started, the kid said, well, we have this set up as an install. I said, right and now I'd like to hook it up myself. He refused to give me the equipment, went on and on about how he wasn't "allowed" to give it to me. The sales person (another hustler on the phone) said I was free to do either one. Then the kid in Redmond added that, in addition you have another problem, the previous owner hadn't closed her account. I said well, that's between you and her, that's not my problem. (This was a home sale, not a rental fwiw). He said, Actually it is your problem because we need that payment ... I cut him off and said, forget it, close it, cancel everything. He was obviously an idiot with no clue how to do his job. Got home, called back to the "office," started over. Went to another location, long drive, long wait but got what I needed, all the equipment, lots of help, no questions. Fire that kid in Redmond!!! read more

Make sure NOT to talk to Chris A (very short young guy with black hair). He's overconfident and completely incompetent. The lady who was helping me seemed new and so she asked Chris for help. He provided wrong information and had me wait 20 min for at&t cust serv to get my account info that wasn't even needed, because he didn't know how to do such a simple thing as a phone exchange/refund. I spent over 40 min there on something that could be done in 10. The worst part is that his manager didn't see anything wrong with it, she just said that "accidents happen". I guess she can't tell the difference between an honest mistake (that the lady who was helping me made) and having staff on her team that is not trained appropriately and that behaves as if they knew everything (i.e. Chris). I hardly ever write reviews but then it's been a long time since I've experienced such an unprofessional customer service. read more

If it was possible to have zero stars in a review... I would give it to Comcast. They are absolutely horrible!!!! After arguing with customer serine for over_2 months, they finally agreed to come out to look at my service. The tech confirmed that the line was damaged, but then it took another 6 weeks and 15 calls to get them to come out again to buy another line They just don't get it. worst customerservice experience ever! plus, the internet they advertise, and the one they give you are actually two different things. Rude sales associates. I went in to the Comcast location, and was met with a snap turn of the head (must have heard that door open), and the associate said "What can I do for you?" with a scrunched up face and irritated tone in her voice. I said that I needed to return the cable box and she took it saying "....we will note your account." Since I was looking for a receipt (for SOME kind of proof that I had dropped the unit off), I asked for one, and she said "have a seat it will take a few minutes....[err um] we don't LOOK busy, but we are, um, backed up." One of the 5 assiciates that were just standing there looking at us, took charge and within about 20 seconds somehow had this elusive receipt for me, hand delivered. While I do appreciate the second associate's good service, I give them a 1-star based on my years of experience with this company. This last experience with them only solidified my feeling that I made a good decision in dropping cable. Actually, it was overdue. read more

The worst customer service anywhere. They don't listen to the problem - all they can do is scroll through their screen prompts and if your problem isn't listed among them they can't help you. Their suggestion to reset "the box" and nothing to do with the programming problem I was experiencing. But would they listen to the problem and provide a meaningful solution or explanation - no! This, after wading through and satisfying all their unending, go-on-forever recorded voice prompts with touchtone response. Max, the female customer service employee (supposedly, she didn't act like she knew what customer service was) was as surly as her name. Problem still unresolved 8 hours later. Supervisor was supposed to call me back but never did. Second call to reach supervisor did not result in a call back either. WOW! This is what we're paying for? read more

I'm have nothing but problem after problem with Comcast, after not being able to resolve my issues with Comcast I called the corporate office. They did send someone out but now all my HD stations are in Spanish. I'm also have problems with my telephone service and wi-fi is a joke. Well, since I enjoy challenges on my good days, I decided to try out Comcast Internet in spite of all the bad reviews out there. Make no mistake, they might have swayed me to choose any other internet service provider had I been given a different high-speed option in my area, but this was the only one over 20mbps available. Yet after taking the leap, I find that despite the dire warnings out here in the cybernetic world, Comcast does a pretty good job of providing internet, at least in my neighborhood. In about 2 weeks of service, I have gotten cut off from the internet only once. I agree that it should not happen at all, however it was fixed after a quick phone call, during which a nice customer representative reset the modem. The speeds are decent - I have gotten a consistent 1- 1.7 MBps download speed. I have not noticed any throttling taking place though I've downloaded quite a bit. In other words, so far so good in that respect. I did take one precaution. I knew that many of the main complaints people had involved the modem in some way or another, so I bought a nice DOCSIS 3.0 Motorola modem with the aim of being spared the headache. Because I am pleased by the service, and because I recalled all the bad reviews I have read about the Comcast boogeyman, I decided to let my honest review become part of the sea of subjective Comcast experiences currently flowing through their cables and switches. If you choose Comcast, I hope you have at least as good of an experience as I have had up until now. read more

I went in to pick up a cable modem that we had ordered and was told on the phone to come to this store to retrieve it since it had not previously shipped to my address like it was supposed to. They didn't even have the modem and told me I couldn't pick it up at the store since it had been shipped to my address (which it wasn't). I explained I was sent by someone to come get it. I was asked to give a phone number and when I accidentally slipped up on the number (I get anxious and mess up like most humans do) the lady I was speaking to said "what the hell" to me when the number didn't exist. We live in Kirkland WA. Our internet goes in and out constantly. Seems like every evening now, and weekends. doesn't seems to matter what time of day. Every 10 minutes it drops and then refreshes. We can't get through a single show on our ROKU without the internet going down. I tried to pay bills online last night, don't think it went through. I am taking a class online, can get through a chapter or test without interruption. It seems to be a daily occurrence now. We have our own Modem and Wireless router, they are quality, so I shouldn't think that is the issue. Of course COMCAST wants you to use their Model ( for a monthly rental fee) and if you do, you have to pay all the associated city, state taxes and fee's. I truly feel they are messing with the service to try to force people into their Modem and to get people OFF ROKU etc. It is total BS. We are so frustrated. BTW, they now outsource their customer service to the Philippines. They won't let you talk to an "onshore" rep, last time I called I was transferred to the "loyalty department". We are just soooo OVER COMCAST. FIOS here we come. read more

After cancelling my service with Comast I was harassed daily to return my equipment, even though when I spoke with a rep he said I needed to return them within 30 days. I get to the store within a week of my cancelation and sign in, then see a gentleman returning equipment. Once he was finished I walked up to return my equipment and the employee behind the counter ignored me for a few minutes. He goes to walk to the back and I ask him if I can return my equipment, too? He told me that he needs to take the other stuff to the back first before he can help me. So I wait... a few minutes later another gentleman walks up front. At that time a guy walks in and hands him his equipment and I ask the man why I have been waiting if I could just walk up and return it and he tells me, "Don't get mad at me lady" Wait, what? I have been waiting to return my equipment in an empty store for over 10 minutes with nothing but being ignored and then told not to get upset when I was given bad service? This company, their service... I'm just so glad to finally be done with them. Comcast is one of the worst ran companies I have ever experienced. read more

We discovered that our cable had 4 splices and looked like it was falling apart - within the next 2 days it was going to be covered in concrete so we wanted Comcast to look at it - we started calling yesterday - they said they would contact us (start with a call canter in the Phillipines and ended up with a repair center in Redmond - they promised the call)- no call - we tried again today and this time they would not even connect us with the Redmond office - so the hubby went to Redmond and found an office - they didn't want to hear about the problem and said that they didn't have time to look at it until the 18th - by which time it would be under the concrete for the new driveway....we spent so much time for two days accomplishing nothing...this is our usual interaction with Comcast. Guess the problem is now theirs and if they need to repair the line, they will have to install a new one somewhere else - we sure tried to do the right thing....bah humbug! read more

It is too bad one cannot give lower than one star. I just recently moved into Woodinville and was investigating options available to me since I no longer have access to fiber. After my experience at this store I went and read some of the other reviews here and it was the same bad experience. It is borderline customer abuse. Be wary of the older lady with the brownish hair at the back. I have never seen someone so rude and arrogant and full of herself while at the same time not actually understand what she is talking about, and not actually answer the questions I was trying to ask or tell me where I should go to get them answered because I was too dumb to understand. She actually starting lecturing me in a condescending manner because I did not understand how a network and things like email work instead of answering my questions. Sorry but I have a masters degree in computer engineering and have been working the networking side of the business for 20 years now - if she knew what she thinks she knows she would actually be in my job instead. In any case I expect that no-one from Comcast/Xfinity in a position to change the behavior and motivations of their employees actually takes the time to read this stuff since there would have been changes long ago. Goes hand in hand with monopoly behavior. If you have no other choice than Comcast then avoid this store unless you enjoy being abused as part of your purchase decision. read more

Comcast has proven to be the worst internet service provider I have ever experienced. I first signed up for an amazing deal of about $20 a month for internet only. After this promotion was over I was sold on a $49.99 (+tax) package wthat included cable (which I never use). I was told this was a year promotion. After 6 months I recieved a bill for over $80. When I spoke with the very unhelpful customer service rep I was told there wasn't a year long promotion as I was told. To keep the price I was quoted I would have to downgrade to a lower speed internet, but I'd get HBO- yay, cause I don't watch t.v. I took it because I need internet and don't have time ro shop around since I work full time and am raising a kid on my own. I left to a funeral and forgot to pay 1 bill on time so recieved a $9.50 late fee when I spoke with the customer service rep about the charge being more than the 7.99 listed on the last page of every bill I was told that the late charges have changed to $9.50- even though the bill says otherwise. I experience connectivity issues two to three times a week and have spoken to multiple customer service reps who have tried to reset the connection- sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. I can have a technician come out and try to resolve the problem, but I'll probably be charged for it. No thank you. I have been told to plug the internet cord into the wall, which means I'd be unable to use the cable, which yes I don't watch but I'm paying for it so, I don't feel I should have to go without to get the service I do use. I've been told I'd recieve credit on my account for the days I've gone without internet. No credit has ever been recieved. I paid my last bill electronically, as they prefer, recieved a confirmation of payment and have now recieved a bill stating I have an over due amount and a bank charge. I am so frustrated with this company I'm definitely NEVER using them again and will be taking time out of my already packed life to find another service, at which point I am sure I will be charged disconnection fees.
