Even though I have enabled the Xfinity Connect spam filter on my PC, I am now getting over 25 spam emails/day. What I have enjoyed the most (NOT) is that 3 emails were NOT spam. I used the "not spam" icon and the emails disappeared. Came back the next day. Been doing this little routine for four days now. This and the other hit or miss on service where you cannot reach a person for a problem with a non DIY online solution (suggested by the rigid, no access auto attendant), has me considering NextLight. Couldn't possibly be worse than the overpriced, under performing service I have now. read more

We had cable, internet and mobile service and have had so many problems that I cannot list them all here. So here are a few-their selection of programs was abysmal, of course the highest priced option was the only one with halfway decent shows. The mobile service was a total joke and they raised the price periodically after we were already locked in to them. Trying to contact anyone alive on their website was another joke. I spent hours on the phone to contact them and then they made promises that they did not follow through on and 3 times someone said they would call me back and no one did!! They raise prices arbitrarily and do not let you know. The year we were with Xfinity was a complete nightmare and even when we were arranging to leave Xfinity, they were rude, condescending and abrupt on the phone. DO NOT GET XFINITY! read more

I must be the odd person out, because I love Xfinity (Comcast) much better than Dish, Direct TV and FIOS. 1. They're cheaper, and offer more services, answer their phone, and provide great, professional customer service over the phone and in person. 2. They're more consistent than the satellite services for darn sure. 3. Waaay more channels included than I've ever seen with FIOS or the satellite losers. Note to the other reviewers -- yes, when you sign up, especially if you sign up for a lower-price incentive offering and if you opt to use their equipment rather than buy your own - it IS a binding contract. And they let you know it six different ways from Sunday. Claiming you were never told is either complete B.S. on your part or you have significant cognitive issues. Customer service is excellent. My cable box went on the fritz last week - I'm not blaming them. I called customer service, they confirmed the failed equipment, offered to send me replacement or I could go to the store in Loveland. I opted to go to the store. Walked in with about five other customers, was worried I'd be waiting for the dreaded "half-hour" or longer. Walked out in five minutes with a new box, took it home, connected it, and it worked just fine. While they were busy, they were fully staffed with knowledgeable people and their IT/account tracking meant they could simply scan the barcode on my moribund unit, scan the barcode on the replacement, hand it to me, and the account was updated. Compare that to FIOS, where they charged about twenty dollars/month MORE for less channels, slow (crappy-slow) internet, and no addtional services whatsoever (I have Xfinity triple play with 250Mb/s minimum internet speed, full suite of cable channels, and home security). Plus, when I had FIOS, they were sending out service people every week because their crappy equipment kept failing and they couldn't debug it worth a crap (wiring in an apartment building that was less than five years old). FIOS daisy-chained a modem, cable box, and wireless router - had issues with multiple faulty devices, and refused to swap out all three items (and cables) for new until they'd spend three days and about 20+ man-hours in my apartment totally failing at their job. Don't get me started on the satellite companies - this review will go on forever. read more

All calls made to my cellphone started going directly to voicemail without showing on my phone. I could make calls out and message, but not calls received. After spending multiple hours on chat with Xfinity support, they suggested to go into the store and have the SIM card replaced. The agents on the chat were very polite and seemed to want to help. When i got to the store I was asked why I was there. I explained that Xfinity support sent me there to get my SIM card replaced. One of the workers, tall, older, gentleman named Chris then asked me if I had Mobile service with Xfinity currently. I explained why I was there and he asked me to follow him to his desk. After providing a replacement SIM card and installing it in my phone the problem was unchanged. He then suggested it was a problem with my phone. I explained that the problem follows the SIM card and this means there was a problem with the service, not the device... he started arguing with me about it. He could not seem to understand that if my "broken" phone had a SIM card from another phone installed, it would magically start working that it could not be a device problem. He then told me that he could not help. He had used all his tools and could offer no more assistance. I then asked if he could connect me with someone that could help. He replied asking me what more I wanted him to do.... I asked him what he suggested I do with my phone as it obviously was not working and his reply was that I should look for another service provider. He refused to help me at all after that and suggested I have a good day and leave. I have had great experience with Xfinity up to this point and was surprised that such rude, unhelpful, and discourteous behavior is allowed. I ended up calling Xfinity support and had my issue escalated to the advanced support team and my issue was resolved within an hour. Bottom line - I recommend Xfinity service and I think the majority of employees want to help customers. The treatment I received from Chris however, makes me seriously consider dropping all Xfinity services and moving to another provider. read more

My TV box has been boot looping for a week, I waited until there was a tech available that fit into my schedule. Tech didn't come today, so I call and apparently they didn't actually schedule it. So I have to wait yet another week to get a tech out to replace the box. When I confirmed I was still expected to pay for the 2 weeks I wasn't able to use the service the person on the phone went absolutely silent. And after I asked if she was still there she said "Well, I don't know what else you want me to do." Fine, I'll drive there today because I'm not lying yet another week to not have service. I had a box that had connections in the back for my old PlayStation and my stereo/audio and when I had another account holder go exchange for updated equipment, THEY GAVE ME THIS TINY BOX THAT HAS NOTHING BUT HDMI TV OUT??? I'm waiting in this store to pick up the equipment that Xfinity promised that they'd ship me. They didn't. So now I'm here to pick it up. The man (Chris) at the front desk snapped at me when I didn't know if I needed to "check in" with him or with the Comcast desk. No customer service. Now I'm waiting on the edge of a bench (no real waiting area) with about ten other people. We're all perched here. I just moved to Loveland from Longmont. In Longmont we had city subsidized high speed broadband. The City of Longmont and NextLight always provides stellar customer service. I can only hope that Loveland passes their bond issue to provide their own municipal broadband. read more

Overall awful company.. the store is very hit or miss on service. Today it was terrible. Asked for selection on phones and they had to run to the back countless times to let me know about colors. I guess they don't inventory anything at all. Service person seemed very uninterested in helping, never offered any information, just kept telling me that they don't offer existing customers deals on anything, I should wait until new phones come out. So I finally figured it out myself. Went through an incredibly long process of giving out personal information in front of everybody to verify my account. Was prepared to pay an absurd amount anyways (because it was a birthday gift), but then I was told they don't accept money as payment only card??! Wtf? All that on top of constantly rising rates and service issues. No thank you. I left without a new phone and I'll be switching ASAP. read more

This is a predatory and frankly, disgraceful company. If you try to cancel service, they will send you down hours of time-wasting rabbit holes and still charge you. Reps will claim they can't access your account- they are just contracted by Xfinity. Mobile claims they can't help with internet and vice versa. We spent 10+ hours dealing with in-person and on the phone representatives trying to get a refund after Xfinity mobile erroneously charged us hundreds of dollars AFTER canceling. Reps don't answer emails. Xfinity will lock you out of your account if you ever change your address, making it impossible to Port-out numbers to other carriers or cancel their service. We went in 4 times to try to cancel and then resolve this. What's the point of having a brick and mortar store if you are powerless and supposedly "in the dark" on all customers accounts? What's the point in offering two services, if those two can't even communicate? We even tried to dispute the charges, to which Xfinity says "you signed the terms and conditions". This is an atrocious company and branch. People should rethink working here or doing any kind of business with Xfinity if they can avoid it. BBB has 24k bad reviews and they are not accredited. I called Xfinity to report that my service was discontinued for the second time in a month and after spending two hours with a lovely Philippino woman she told me how to fix it and then to sign me up for a great promotional deal for a new phone and inexpensive phone service. Transferring service and activating the phone was pretty complicated. When I asked yet another Phillippino person (who was also very nice) he told me to check with the store at Centererra for additional help in activating my new phone. I didn't catch the name of the man who waited on me but I will report that my experience was dreadful! He was an older man, thinning white hair and very unfriendly and downright RUDE. I got my own chair to sit at his desk with him and told him about my difficulties transferring my carrier and activating the phone. He told me that he had no idea how to help me and I should take the new phone to a repair shop and have it fixed. I was so upset that I went right back to my T-Mobile store and bought a new phone and had them reinstate my service! My experiences with Xfinity are so frustrating and absolutely not customer friendly. As soon as I can find another company to provide good internet and cable I will be quitting this company. Both of them were very pleasant and knowledgeable, treated my sister and I with kindness and respect. They resolved a recurring frustrating issue we'd been experiencing with billing by taking the time to really listen and use their knowledge to provide a solution! Excellent customer service, and we all laughed quite a bit too! Great people who made a difference and represented Xfinity with class! It was my first time coming into the store to ask a couple questions (I have been an xfinity member for a couple years) I got some guy named Steve, my experience was awful. My first question was regarding my bill and he made me feel quite dumb about it. My second question was regarding bundling cable and internet and he would not present me any options besides local channels, I basically had to keep asking for more information while he just mumbled at me and didn't seem to have any interest. During our big snowstorm last week , my neighbor lost his internet service due to a branch falling and pulling it off the pole. The pole is located in our backyard and previous Comcast contractors have repaired it , promised to return and bury the cable . Never returned to properly finish the job, and left it lay on the ground . Made mowing pretty rough, dogs getting hung up in it . Today, Comcast contractor Riley came to hook the cable up, listened and ran the cable from our pole to the neighbors , completed the repair really quickly . He was courteous, listened to our concerns and fixed a problem we've been fighting for awhile . Xffinity, give Riley a raise! He Rocks! read more

ZERO stars - probably the worst service I have ever had. It took multiple phone calls just to set up an appt to start service. Technician arrived, said he did not have the right work order, left. Days later another bozo does the same thing. After many phone calls comcast/xfinity refuses to send out yet another technician until 2 more days. The extreme incompetence is stunning. I went in to speak with them about adding TV service to my account. I unfortunately got the old man Chris as a representative and I have more than a few choice words for him. The reason for going in was their online ad for TV and internet for $79.99/month. He tells me there is a TV box included with it, then adds $5, then adds $14 for a modem for the internet, and then over $30 added for taxes. By the time it was all said and done the price jumped to $139 a month. That is a $60 dollar increase and almost double what the add says. I said so the ad is false advertisement because that is nowhere close to that cost and he tells me "to have a good day" and refuses to assist me any further. When I tried to speak with another associate to get help because I was still interested, he proceeds to follow me around the store. I have had service with them for 6 years and even have cell phone service with them and this is how they treat their customers. I have been with Comcast for years but finally have had enough. It is not only that they are outrageously expensive. It is that they are dishonest. Steve Oviedo in Loveland store is completely dishonest. What he quoted me in store is completely different than the email I received from Comcast. When I emailed him (no local phone for a company that sells phone service) he told me I would pay price quoted in store and finally bill would be correct. I have this in a email with specifics. When service guy (that I will get to him in a minute) got here to install what Steve told me was far from accurate with much higher monthly charges and additional fees. I showed him emails from Steve. He agreed that is what emails said but nothing he could do about it. But yay for Steve he got the sale. Service guy Mark: He was incompetent on several fronts. I have fairly basic windows they swing out instead of up and down. He did not have skill set to know how to install window sensors on them. We started going through contract he could not answer basic questions. His answer was I just do the install. Should Comcast not train employees to go over contracts and to answer basic questions or hire people competent enough to understand training giving if they are going to have them review with customer? Back to prices quoted by Steve in store and email vs charges shown to me by Mark. Mark had no skills set on how to handle this issue. He tried called their 800 number and was put on hold my their automated system just like Comcast makes their customer deal with. The other thing Mark said repeatedly was that his tablet runs off of Verizon and that "Verizon real sucks" so it might be slow. I explain that I know they are now in the cell phone business but I have Verizon been much more satisfied with them than Comcast over the years. He still said it again. It must have been the one part of his training he was able to embrace how to bash the competition. Mark was not necessary dishonest but poorly trained and probably does not have the IQ to do the job. When my husband and I went to the store to give back the Xfinity box and have the one we bought connected it was terrible! We waited 45 minutes to 1 hour to have someone to help us. We were put on a list by the lady in front and there were 5 people waiting in front of us. The store only had 2 sales reps to help. Apparently the lady in front was only a greeter.
