    I am absolutely furious with this company for charging me over $80 a month and delivering a service…read morethat is a complete joke. Every time I call for help, I'm subjected to an endless cycle of being transferred from one clueless representative to another. Each one claims it's someone else's job, wasting my time with pointless speed tests that show I'm getting nowhere near the 1 Gig service I'm paying for. I've done every system reset and followed every instruction they've given me, only to be told to "have a great day and hang up" without solving anything. My setup is simple: two computers for gaming, two phones, and no TV streams. There's no way four devices should cause my internet to fluctuate from 0 to 200 to 25 to 300. I've never even seen a 1 Gig service, let alone experienced it. Downloading games is a nightmare, taking over an hour for a small game and an entire day for a larger one. My plans are constantly ruined because updates can't download at the speed I'm paying for. I remember going to the grocery store and coming back to find my game barely halfway done! This is unacceptable, and I urge anyone considering this company to think twice. I'm done wasting my time and money on a service that doesn't deliver.

    I have been a skybeam customer for over 7 years in the Idaho Springs area. Beware. Their network…read moretower on the top of Bellevue mountain is completely overwhelmed and they have no way of providing you anywhere near the amount of bandwidth that they promise. Recent tests show that my average bandwidth is 25% of what they promise and at peak hours they do not even provide 10% of their promised bandwidth. I understand that bandwidth may vary, but I NEVER get what I pay for, not even close. Tech support's hands are tied because they have oversubscribed their system and there is nothing they can do about it. But yet, they still continue to sell 5Mb plans and even higher when they cannot even deliver half a Mb during peak periods. This is a deceptive practice and they will do nothing to address it. They simply do not care. This is a service to be avoided at all costs.

The technician was finally able to get it resolved, he told me he changed the frequency it was using. When he left I noticed the speed was very slow, we were getting 15mbps and now getting less than 5 mbps. I called today (7/15) to get it resolved, below is the exact conversation, hopefully you have it recorded and can listen to it. I will be cancelling my service if you ever answer your phones. We will be going with Aerux, which I was told by your technician on Monday, they were a MUCH better company with more reliable service. I say "seriously? You downgraded us without even telling us?" Well it wasn't me, it was the tech Well I know it wasn't you but the tech works for your company right?
