If i could give a negative I would. If you do business with verizon make sure it's a verizon store and not victra. The customer service is non existent. They won't allow returns and the corporate number and email is unresponsive. If you call a victra store it goes to an off shore call center, which claims they will have the store call back. About a year and a half ago I purchased a phone at the Frederick/Firestone location with a promotion. The person put the promotion in incorrectly and I was getting charged monthly for the phone I had already paid for. I've spent hours on the phone with Verizon to rectify this and keep getting promises that I will receive a credit on "next month's" bill. The next month, no credit. I know a lot of reviews on here are for Verizon the service but strictly speaking the customer service I received at this store was great. I needed to make multiple visits cause I'm a complicated person, but both Brad and Alex (I really hope their name was Alex I'm terrible with names) were fantastic we had to call several other Verizon entities and everyone was super patient with me and helped me quickly and efficiently. Terrible customer service and terrible experience overall. I spent two days without service after they made 3 failed attempts to upgrade my phone. Finally had them just put everything back on my old phone and forget it. Still left with issues and went to a different store only for him to quickly see they put the wrong SIM card in and Verizon didn't even recognize my old phone anymore. I went into the store to move from T-Mobile to Verizon. I dodged a bullet. The staff was awful, and I mean AWFUL. I was given a price for services, and when I asked for a quote, it had a different amount. I asked for an explanation. Wow, she scribbled, circled, and marked up the quote. I still did not understand the price. We asked for some items to be removed. Again, we asked for a printout, and the scribbles, the marks and circles, started all over again. The quote was not even close to the verbal price given the first time. I asked for a manager, and this set her off. She walked away and said she would get her manager, I am 100% positive as she walked past me she called me "white trash." Yes, you heard that right. After about 10 minutes and no help from anyone else in the store, I asked to see what the hold up was. The manager walked out with the paperwork and the new phone, with the assumption that I was proceeding with the transfer. Are you kidding me, I will go without a cell phone before I EVER go back to Verizon. So I was having major challenges with Tmobile - so I decided to come back to Verizon. I had used them a few years back and service was OK. WHAT A MISTAKE!! The MyVerizon web application hangs continously -- every support request comes back with "more information needed" but no way to provide it -- and the key issue ... when I am on cellular data - download is less than .5 MB/sec ... I cannot even use a maps program AS IT LAGS BY 2 MINUTES. So -- done with Verizon !! Worst cell provider (including those in Russia, Tanzania, Tasmania ... you name it ... their service just SUCKS!! If I could give this store a 0 star I would. The staff was very rude and unhelpful to my situation. The store manager was very arrogant and condescending. When walking in the door there was no rush for any employee to offer assistance, all the employees just stared at us. In less than 2 minutes the employee claimed he was unable to offer help with upgrading a phone which you would think would be an easy request. The manager was extremely rude and arrogant. Went in today on January 9th 2021 to open up a new account and asked how long it would be to open up a new account. The girl told me 20 minutes. I said okay. Asked if they had any phone cases for iphone 11 she said they did but in the back so I told her that's okay. I will just go to Best Buy for the case. Came back 20 minutes later and said that I never received my text message for my appointment. And her response back was "Yeah because you said you were going to Best Buy". Maybe you guys should teach your representatives communication skills. Since I clearly told her I would get a case from them because you had zero on display and she just took me off the waiting list. We arrived at 3:55, checked in and were told there were others ahead of us, it's now 5:15, stores officially closed and two of the four employees we saw are in the back while two are still helping other customers. Why would two be off the floor at this point? Just got a new phone--can we even call them "phones" anymore? I feel like I now live in some space age sci-fi show, beam me up scotty! Really. I was just watching a Star Trek movie, and someone had a thing-a-ma-bob in his ear that was trasmitting communica......oh wait, we call that a bluetooth these days! Anyway, just before 5 on a Thursday, the store wasn't too busy, but they had the check-in lady enter my number and name in the typepad--I could have handled this one. Curious that they have someone do that for you, but if they didn't, maybe I'd be complaining instead. I know my problem rests between unit-user , but they are willing to help me anyway. Somehow when downloading the Facebook app, ALL my contacts from FB were entered into my contacts. Now, I love my close friends, but that is about 10 people. I like my FB friends, but because I use it for business networking, I haven't even met many of them. I certainly don't need all their contacts in my phone/base-docking-station. We encountered a few glitches that I won't go into in detail (yeah, I know, it's already a long review) They had to call a few different people to work out the problems--the phone is THAT new. After an hour or so, I walked out of there with a re-programmed phone, and new way to do all the things that I want to do on my hand unit. They have workshops each week, I mentioned they are kinda random and unorganized--because of the different levels of expertise that everyone is at, and ask about tutorials I had heard about. My sales guy says they don't do that but is willing to meet me off site to help me out.....I'm clearly married--you can tell my the big ole rock on my left hand, and clearly waaaay older than him.....so I'm assuming he was just being nice... :-) So all in all, no problems. A little time spent, and I'm a happy girl with a new phone/base-docking unit thingy that I barely know how to use. Oh, and if I was really good at this, I'd have entered this review using my "voice-to-text" app, instead of using the keyboard at my home computer, but one thing at a time. please. read more

Out of all the Verizon stores in the northern Colorado area, this one took the cake for worst customer service within seconds. Myself along with a couple other customers were in and out in minutes due to reps basically saying they can't do anything. The gentleman that wasted my time was more interested in cleaning his glasses than using a tablet to do 90% of his job title for him. I was bluntly told that Verizon CS can't help with Verizon information regarding bill information. Clearly they can fake your money, but can't tel you why they're taking it. This store can be busy. I lucked out because I got there when it opened, and I was seen after a few minutes. The place blew up after that and waits seemed to be high (reason for 4 stars and not 5). The overall experience in switching to Verizon was fantastic, thanks to Clarence, the rep that helped us. His service was amazing, and he told us everything we needed to do to prepare to switch. He went above and beyond what anyone could ask. His efforts made our experience a pleasure, which is not usually the case when working with phone companies. As far as signal and coverage, I switched from ATandT and the coverage is better, as in NIGHT and DAY. On the north end of Loveland and the south end of Fort Collins (Harmony), the signal is great, which is what we needed (in both data and cell phone reception). We pay less, too. read more

Just switched to Verizon (accidentally). There was a whole misunderstanding with switching my number over. I didn't actually want them to port it over until I made sure I didn't still have a contract elsewhere, but the did :/ so now I'm out $630 that I owe to the other carrier for my phone...I visited this Verizon location 4 different times waiting to speak with the general manager, Becky. When I finally met with her, she was rude, condescending, and didn't try to make it right at all. You'd think that if you were talking with a new customer for the first time you'd want to make me stay with Verizon and make the mistake right. It wouldn't have been that hard for them to credit the $630 to my account considering it's a mega $ company, but she insisted that it wasn't Verizon's fault. I felt like my welcome to Verizon from Becky and the team was pretty much the middle finger. Even the Verizon customer service reps I talked to on the phone said that the store manager should have credited my account and owned that it was a huge inconvenience to me. Store has everything you'll need. We were very pleased with good customer service. Very supportive reps. If you're just looking, no appointment needed (although you might have to wait to speak to a rep). If you're seriously looking at Verizon, you should make an appointment--and don't be late, because you'll lose your time slot! We switched to Verizon for the extensive coverage (wife and I each got a Galaxy 8). Our former company had no coverage in places like Fairfield, IA or on I25 between Trinidad and Albuquerque! Yikes. Verizon works everywhere (like Fairfield), including inside an elevator and even on a moving Amtrak train. If you buy a phone, you'll need: your account number for each phone from your former carrier; an unlocked credit report (not in hand--they'll call for your credit rating); your ID; a payment method like credit card. Also, consider getting the accessories elsewhere (Amazon or Walmart, for example), since store accessories are 3 or 4 times the price of other places. Your service rep will port your old number, too, but you'll need your account numbers from your prior carrier. read more

The order was filled within an hour, excellent written communication, and I was in and out of the door in less than 10 minutes, even though the store was very busy when I stepped in. Gave us a wireless phone charger and otterbox case without telling us the otter box case is too thick for the charger to work.. Went to return the charger and they asked us to wait for a rep. A HOUR later we ask how much longer we have to wait for a simple return, she told us another 30 minutes, she could have told us how long the wait was when we FIRST walked in the door. For a simple return. So we ended up leaving. Third time we have been here with a minimum of waiting a hour an a Wednesday morning. read more

Liars and incompetent! we got to the store to upgrade iphone 4 to iphone 6. they told us we have a 10 minutes wait. 1hour and 10 minutes later, Rex, shows-up. I explain again (3rd person in the store) that I want to upgrade my phone. He tells me that I can't really do it and it would be better for me to buy the new iphone 6 online directly since they don't have any at the store. I asked him if he could order it for me using the current $200 rebate (it is a Verizon gift certificate that you cannot use it on the new phone). He told me no I should be able to do all that online. So why do you have a job Rex and why are you wasting my time if I can do it all online. THIS IS A REVIEW FOR the manager at this Verizon store at 11 am this morning who helped me by calling the USELESS CORP support to try and fix my issue. He spent almost an hour, if not more, on the phone with the useless corporate support! He was patient and kind and empathized with my issue. I have 3 phones on my plan and VERIZON corp could not set them up correctly from the beginning and ended up with 2 accounts where one was in limbo and trying to pay it was PAINFUL. so they put me on CASH ONLY YET they were taking money out of my bank account on a monthly basis to pay the correct account. I am in good standings and my account is paid and has been since the beginning yet when I try to buy a simple phone case, they have me flagged as CASH ONLY!!! WtF???? I am going back to AT&T (I only left AT&T due to rumors that connection was better in Summit County. Guess what: IT IS NOT!!!! I am going back to AT&T because there support has their shit together. My wife was having problems with her Android phone sending/receiving texts/voicemails/phone calls. We almost didn't walk in when we pulled up because it looked very busy. We took a chance and a guy, whose name I think was Denim, opened the door for us. My wife explained to him the situation and he had us out of there in 10 minutes. Went to by an Apple iPhone 7 today at the Johnstown Verizon store. Greeted at the door, waited for a sales associated, reasonable wait time, sales guy came up asked how he could help me today. Told him I was there to buy the Apple IPhone 7, gave him the specifics but that I wanted to make sure the info could transfer from my old phone. Looked at my phone, he told me he didn't think he could help and if he could it would cost $10.00 to help transfer the info. I then asked him how I could do it and he responded with the comment "can't help you he said, don't work for google". Shook the guys hand, thanked him for his time and left. We stopped at this store last evening and not one sales person asked if we needed help and there was not a person taking names to put on the list. We looked around about 15 min and noticed that 5 sales people exited the store and stood out in front of the door talking amongst themselves. There were two other couples plus ourselves waiting to be helped. The 3 remaining reps were talking to people. We advanced toward the door to leave and still no one asked if they could help. We walked thru the door and one person said thanks for coming and that was it!!!! It was around 5pm and the store really wasn't that busy. We have been Verizon customers over 10 years and like our service. We will be going to another Verizon store to do our business in the future. read more

I just tried to purchase a SIM card from the Verizon store in Loveland. Customer service is definitely lacking here. It took two trips to the store to find out that they could not sell me one without being authorized on the account that I was trying to buy a card for. I ordered a basic phone online and selected to go pick up the phone at this store so I had it that day. Bad decision! Once I got there, what should have taken 15 minutes, ended up taking an hour and a half! We were still inside when they closed because their outdated computer software (the manager said it was 1999 software and not compatible with Verizon's main hub) would not process the new phone, and they had to call the main hub and start the order over. Since I only ordered the basic phone and had a free upgrade, I asked the clerk over and over to confirm that no additional services were added and that my bill would remain the same and no changes would go on my current plan. He insisted there were no changes. I asked him to see a review of the order, and he would not show me, but only gave me a receipt, and again insisted there were no changes. He was wrong! Sure enough, on my next bill it shows my plan changed and they added my phone to internet and was charging me an additional monthly fee! I called the main hub and they removed it and credited me for that, but when I tried to call the Verizon Wireless store, I could not get through to any live person, just recordings. The only way that new plan could have showed up on there is if that clerk at the store changed it. Not good business practices to deceive a client. Now I see why he refused to let me review the order. read more

Once again, Verizon relies on their network and couldn't care less about their customer service. I went to this location to troubleshoot issues with my phone after calling the Verizon customer service line and being told I would have to bring phone in. After a thorough 2 minute test that consisted of calling my phone once and stating that I could make an insurance claim and get a new phone even though my phone "seemed ok", I requested they check more. A guy named Israel came over and did the same exact test and said my phone "seemed ok" and that it must be the case that has had some warranty issues, but that they couldn't replace faulty product even if it was purchased from their branch. After I insisted serval times to not talk about the case for the phone (as we had agreed to disagree about their diagnostic work) and to help me get an upgraded phone for one of our other lines, Israel continued to bring up the topic of the case all while acting as if he had ten places he would rather be and that if I didn't like it I could leave. I left. Not going back to this branch even though it means a 25 minute drive to another branch from here out. May have to cut the cord with Verizon's network and opt out after 10 years of their "service". Customer service never great whether on the phone or in person. Avoid Israel unless you like self entitled sales people. read more
