In the future I think it would be valuable to at least ask the customer if they are interested in adding additional things for the phone instead of just doing it without disclosing any prices. Especially in an area with a lot of young adults needing help.

For whatever reason, they did not put back the old one and I was told to come back first thing Monday (i.e. today). I turned my phone on, and it was missing the S Pen, it said NO SIM - Emergency call only, and it immediately overheated and turned off. I called the store from my husband's phone and was told to leave it off for a bit and the issues would resolve - that it was just because it had been heated up to remove the screen. I left it off for another 2 1/2 hours and still had the same issues. I called again and was told again to come back Monday (today). I came back in first thing this morning and was told it would be 4hours. It has now been 4 1/2 hours. I called and they said it will be another hour. I showed up 1 hr and 20 minutes later to be told the exact same thing - - "We are running diagnostics." I did not get my phone back for another hour and a half. For anyone not wanting to add this up . . . Saturday I was told 2-3 hours and it took 5 1/2 hours to get a BROKEN PHONE back that was not broken beyond an AESTHETIC crack on the screen when I dropped it off. On Monday, my second visit, I was told 4 hours, and it took 7 1/2 hours. While waiting for my phone I got to chat with 8 other customers who had similar OR WORSE stories about this place and their experience. This is completely ridiculous nonsense and the absolute worst business you can go to in my opinion. They give you BS explanations and time frames and don't give a f*** how long they take or if they RUIN your device. I cannot believe any companies (Verizon, Xfinity, Asurion, Verify, etc.) are willing to pay/partner with this business for insurance and warranty claims as, from my experience and in my opinion, this shop is a huge liability. My only piece of advice is to GO ANYWHERE ELSE. ** Also, be weary of any 5 star reviews - - based on my experience and what I witnessed with over a dozen other customers today, those reviews are likely not legit.

Instead they signed me up for the Most Expensive Platinum Level Plan Available with literally every add-on available behind my back. My first bill was over $225 per phone line. I've been on at least 5 calls with AT&T Customer Service in the past 6 months trying to sort out this problem, they supposedly corrected the billing then next month my bill up to"magically" jumps up to $90 or $100 per line per month due to the way this store structured my trade-in. When I signed up they went through everything on an iPad device which showed my bill at about $60 / month per line. I've had cell phone plans dating back to the 1990's and never had so much trouble dealing a company or store before. This is the worst experience I've had in the past 30 years. I will never get another AT&T plan again. The word "crook" and "misleading" doesn't do this store justice.
