Sometime in April, they sent me a new router. A few billing cycles in and I was charged more because I had not returned my used equipment. I found that odd because I wasn't given a box to return it, so I just kept avoiding the return. Finally, I got my act together and made an appointment at the closest XFinity to me. This is in a nicely manicured shopping plaza with an AT&T, Firehouse Subs, Chic-fil-A and other spots like that. To be honest I was dreading going in person because I thought it would be chaotic. My appointment was made for 3:15, and I was promptly seen upon arrival. My equipment was returned and then I was able to negotiate with the employee Diego or David (cannot remember his name) - was really helpful. The store is clean, and spacious. I would definitely recomend making an appointment because it did look like a bit of a madhouse for those who were waiting.

He brought some lady with him that stood by the car while he did the insulation took him 30 minutes total from the time he was here and left. I'm 81 years old and very sick and had to walk all the way around the house to show him where it needed to be installed of course he didn't install it there. I showed him where it install it because we were painting the house and taking down all the cords for all other internet services that I've had before and he put it right where he shouldn't have. So then I called to tell him where he put it and it wasn't in a good spot for me I could hit it with my head walking by it it was so low to the ground and on a wall that we were not finished painting and they were going to send somebody out within 3 days they contacted me after about 7 days and was going to place it where it's supposed to be placed. I canceled it before the 30 days was up however they still charged my account I'm sure I'll get that back once they get their equipment back they sent the package and my son went out to take off the eye of the dish they want back and it just fell off at his hand. The only good service was when they were begging me to stay with them that they would give me such good deals and this and that if I would just stay with them the whole time I had it which was about three full weeks it was not strong like they said it was. He also put an extender in the house which I did not ask for and that was an extra charge. The other problem is just about every company now you on the line forever just to talk to someone. HughesNet is a joke I actually told them my son has HughesNet and he referred me to them they said they do not give him a credit nor do I get a credit for that no discounts no nothing just harassment.
