    Their service is so slow. Called ahead and . Their wait list is a ducking joke. 1 hour to exchange a broken modem

    My 90 year old Mom has used WOW for years - it is horrible. She only gets mail 2 times per week…read more She sent a check to WOW on 6/22/2022. They shut off phone service because her check did not make it in time. I spoke with a supervisor, they have no safety nets in place to help the elderly. They will not place my name on file, no one bothered calling her to let her know they'd be shutting off service. This is egregious. My Mom has paid her bills all her life in a timely manner. Missing a payment should not leave my elderly Mom without communication! Shame on you Wow. Speaking with a supervisor got me no where - and I was on hold for over an hour just to get her account rectified.

Back then their customer service was top notch, now it is very bad. I've been on hold with them sometimes for nearly an hour just to talk to the "right" department. We had a power outage recently and lost power for 2 days but we were without internet & phone for about 5 days. All of the Comcast/Xfinity people around us had internet. It's in the best interest of my family that I have a working phone in case of emergency. Didn't want to do it but had to make a change to Xfinity. Also, I'm going to save about 40 bucks a month now! They exhibit all the signs of a cheap company that has cut to the bone but is still going under.

I hate my current internet and cable company-- Layer3 come to NYC please!! My brother had Layer3 installed one morning while I was visiting. I complained and expected the worst, but it was literally the easiest experience ever. This nice install rep (hi Chris!) came perfectly on time and did the entire setup for us in a few minutes - he was very pleasant and funny. I had no idea what this new cable was, so he spent time explaining and showing us a few pointers to make sure we understood the software. It's like a no contract, no fee, amazing cable company that has even higher quality imaging. Plus virtually unlimited DVR space (Hello binge watching!) Oh and it's less expensive than what I'm paying for UGHHHHH. The Damage: I believe the price is different depending where you are, so worth calling to see. I used to…read morelove their customer service, America based, and their picture quality, content and NFL package were outstanding. Then AT&T purchased Directv. I stuck with them a little longer but the quality of their services quickly deteriorated. I used to consider them the gold standard but i had to switch after a mystery charge appeared on my bill that they couldn't explain to me. I told them i was leaving and they didn't even care. I also refuse to go to Comcast. I noticed an ad for Layer 3 tv online and decided to try it out. Let me preface by stating i have a 1gigabit internet thru the fine folks from RCN who also have excellent customer service. Layer3 TV is an internet based cable solution. Their feed runs thru your internet. and they have 4K. I admit i was skeptical at first but once i switched i have not looked back. The picture quality is amazing and the customer service is outstanding. They are new to the Chicago area so there are a few kinks but you can tell with the technology they use they will become a force. Please keep doing what you are doing I enjoy your services immensely.

    I was in the process of cutting cords with Xfinity (Comcast) and lowering my $225 month bill of…read moreinternet and cable. I went into the store not expecting much but wondering about 5G Verizon Internet. The person could not have been nicer, he immediately said "yes, that's what you need and you'll have great coverage, because of your home's location. Try it--you have 30 days to decide, no contract, and modem is free with service fee of $40 per month." He assured me it would not affect the $97 a month bill we were grandfathered into (Verizon does not offer anymore) of 55+ older for two phones and that this plan would just add $40.00 to my bill. I returned to the store when my bill appeared larger, but it was because I called the Caribbean twice (oops). He told me to take a photo of the modem/router's bottom codes before installing it, which I did. I downloaded the app for Verizon on my phone, and it was up and running in 10-15 min. I connected it to my newer router, and instead of missing Comcast, I am in amazement! My download speeds are around 190 mbps download; 5 upload, and my smart TV now pulls tons of live channels (268 of them), along with the Amazon Prime I already had with HBO and Netflix I had ordered on it. I don't miss any cable tv channels, plus now my internet on my laptop is faster. I hooked up two TVs--an old Roku TV and my newer Samsung Smart TV. I will be saving $2000 a year in cable/net bills. Verizon forecasts my bill going down to $136 next month for two smart phones with unlimited data, text, and calls (in the US) and the 5G network for Wifi, so I'm happily leaving the Xfinity/Comcast train....literally from $225 with Xfinity/Comcast including "very fast" internet and Basic plus Netflix and HBO to $40 plus $36 with my own subscription to Netflix and HBO and now actually lightening fast internet. That's $241 to $76 for internet and cable. Amazing. That's a savings of $165 a month. How did I wait so long to switch?

    My husband was sold an Apple Watch and a plan that Verizon hasn't honored leaving us out hundreds…read moreof dollars. My husband has gone in multiple times to fix it and spent over 8 hours on this mistake that a Verizon employee made. Every time we go in we have to retell the story, every time they tell us they can't do anything. We've been customers in good standing for many years, decades even but likely won't be any more. The customer service in this store is completely unhelpful. In the next year we will be adding a line and we WERE interested in the internet but without this mistake that THEY made we are planning on going elsewhere. Don't waste your time. The best part is that they place all the blame on a former employee who "wasn't allowed to give that deal." Sounds like a YOU problem Verizon and not our problem.
