This location is under construction so it's a little cramped especially when it's busy... which feels like every time I go. I went to another location earlier (about 30 minutes prior) and they couldn't help with the issue I had with my service with having a manager present so I decided to try another location in which this location is the next closest to where I live (live in Mpls went to St. Louis Park all the way over to this location). You walk in and they take down your name. The staff acknowledged me right way and told me someone would be with me shortly. I waited about 5 minutes before they called me over to the service counter. The woman who helped me was nice and was able to help me with my issue right way. Her manager was working remote and she was able to get my issue resolved, get my service moved and working again! This process took about 10 minutes. Wayyyy better than my experience at the St. Louis Park Location. Despite how busy it was and all the issues with service they are presented the staff seemed very professional and pleasant. read more

4 hours in store with my 82 yo mother we were going to get lunch. to switch xfinity to xfinty phone. Then they cannot port over my old number to the new phone even though I curently have service with them. wtf!!. They gave me a phone with a different number and said would be ported over 24 hours later. Wrong. I called cust service. spent 2 hours on phone with them. then after number was ported could not get sim to download. another 3 hours. What a joke this company is. the employees just laughed it off said just another day. BS, they are getting paid we are not and have other things to do wiht our time. Here's my latest bad experience with the incompetent idiots at Comcast Xfinity... I'm so angry with this corporation that I "unplugged" and turned my cable box into this Brooklyn Park location. I now only have Comcast Xfinity for internet - which still sets me back over 90 bucks a month! I'd cancel the internet too if I had a good option to replace them. For the second time this week, Comcast dispatched 2 large boom trucks to "wait for an alarm to clear" on the curb at my property. Boom trucks for alarms? Isn't that kind of expensive? Couldn't they just send one guy in a Toyota Prius or something? (I guess a billion dollar company can send fleets of Bentleys to respond to alarms if they want to.) Since one of the dudes was parked directly in front of my house (again), I asked him if he needed to get into the service box. The guy said, "I might." (He clearly couldn't be bothered with talking to me.) Since the big green box straddles the property line, I had the fence company build a custom (expensive) fence panel that lifts out for easy access. I did this just to make things easy for Comcast. Anyway, I asked him to let me know if he needed access to the box and I'd lift out the panel for him. Half an hour later I peeked outside to see what was going on. The guy was taking apart my fence panel using a screw driver! He never came to get me. And he never lifted the panel out (as designed). I stormed outside, stopped him, took videos, and popped the panel out with my hammer (he didn't have a hammer). His "boss" told him they were going to just move the box. So he waited for another employee to bring him a shovel. I offered him a shovel but he declined. In summary: 1) Two (2) boom trucks dispatched to clear one alarm? 2) Worker was too dumb to come and get me? 3) Taking apart a fence with a screw driver? 4) A boom truck with no hammer? 5) A boom truck with no shovel? 6) Day 3 - no progress? (Cones still up, still haven't moved the box, fence still open.) I can't believe that a multi-BILLION dollar company is so incompetent and hated. This is what you get when you have a monopoly. Horrible we switch providers.first of all it took them eight hours the technician left our house at 9 pm.and we still had no service.its been months and the cable is actually still hanging up in the trees where x finity ties it in trees over the street.the remote always starts on channel 800why not at two.the recording options suck the playback and go forward sucks.its slow and skips a lot.just the whole dealing with them was horrible.several days trying to get us up and running.and several days of them not showing up. read more

The only company with worse customer service than the airline industry. Walk in and take a number service. When I agreed to stop in and pickup my equipment I was told it is a quick in and out process. No restroom even though wait times are over a half hour today. One bench to sit enough for three despite over a dozen people waiting around the door for help. Unfortunately Xfinity is the only option for where I reside. I visited this Xfinity store today to turn in my cable equipment because I cut the cord. I've visited another store in Roseville multiple times so I knew how this worked. They were rather busy, lots of people waiting. It was lunch time on a holiday weekend so I expected this. There was a male employee standing near the door with a tablet. He was checking in the gentleman that walked in right before me. I stood "in line" behind him, waiting my turn to give him my name and why I was there. Another girl walked in behind me but started wandering around to find an available employee. She was informed by others to find the guy with the tablet to be placed in the queue. I was told it would be about 10 mins... which was fine. They have couches and stools to sit on while you wait. Roseville store used to have a giant TV playing Pixar movies. This place doesn't. I only waited about 2 mins for my name to be called. They have stations set up around the perimeter of the store. I assume they each have a purpose. A station for upgrades, mobile sales, renting equipment and a place for returning equipment. I'm assuming that's why I was helped so quickly... as others before me were still waiting. The employee scanned a cable box to get my account up, I signed that I was returning equipment. He informed me of my new billing amount and we were done. Wham, bam, done in 3 mins. **I know calling customer service is hit or miss, but this was my 4th visit to an actual xfinity store. We purchased a new phone plan from xfnity at the Minneapolis Hone Show. New phones ordered and came Following Tuesday. Proceeded to store on Thursday to have data transferred and to activate new service. The person we purchased from was not in store so was asked to return later in the day. Late afternoon phone info transferred to new devices. We received minimal instruction "there're just like your old ones except for the back function". Discovered there was no charging plugs with the phones. Contacted sales man and was told they don't come with chargers. How were we to charge them? Find a charger somewhere. Found chargers and a very helpful person at the Version store. Two days later 1 of the phones will not turn on. Need to return to store, they can not fix it, need to bring in old phone to start over again. Another trip back home and back again. Not a good start for a new customer. read more

I am surprised by the negative reviews about this location. On any of the occasions I have had to come here, the staff has been professional, helpful and knowledgeable. That includes when I had to come and return all of my equipment (cash was tight) to when I came in to sign up for only internet. There was no pressure, the staff worked hard to find me the best deal for what I could afford at the time. Today I went in to upgrade my modem, the young lady helping me switched out my modem, found me a deal that for the same price gave me additional channels, and helped me set up the XFinity app. My guess is that those who throw so much 'hate' here, are likely customers who have unrealistic expectations of what their service should be. I am surprised that this store even existing. Don't get fooled by the store setup. The staff in there has IQ of a broken pencil with zero attitude to help people. All i wanted was a break up of my bill based on the recent account change and "Chester" read my bill and repeatedly said "all i know is your bill is correct, i cannot explain. if you need details call the billing department". I've been to this store approx 12 times, first 8 is to setup my cable, 2 times to collect missing equipment, 1 time for returning equipment and today for billing details. Xfinity has been the worst decision I made for my cable. Our system restarts all the time and we have to unplug and plug it back in and wait 20-30 mins for it to load back up. This happens on average once a week. We have all our cables screwed in tight and no other outside issues with connection. It is the system itself. read more

I am not a fan of this location! When I arrived around 130pm on a weekday, I didn't expect to wait almost 30min just to return my equipment. They had about 6-7 staff in the store, and only 3 were helping people! Not to mention they waste payroll on a person to stand there and add names to a waitlist. Maybe he could help people when people aren't waiting to be checked in? I think the worst part was their customer service. I watched the "manager" refer to a female guest as "baby" and she did not seem pleased. She was around 70 and did not seem to like being called that. He also said "I got chu" multiple times. Why so casual rather than professional? I saw this same thing in SLP's store as I referred to as "sweetie" and "baby." I can't believe this place remains open. When I walked in, there were zero customers and 5 employees in the store--only one of which showed any desire to help. When I first walked in, all 5 employees were standing around talking and not a single one acknowledged me walking into the store. Thankfully a lady named Patty stepped up and ended up being extremely friendly and pleasant to work with. If it wasn't for her, I would have walked out and never returned to this location. There were 3 male workers standing towards the back of the store who were not only not friendly, their looks and postures were almost as if they were trying be intimidating. Patty ended up giving me her business card, so the only way I will ever be returning to this store is if I have an arrangement with her. Comcast should be embarrassed by this store. read more

I came to this location in order to turn-in old equipment. I was in and out in 15 minutes and was the fourth person in line. I had no problems at this location. I saw an elderly lady get frustrated since she wasn't helped. However, she also didn't input her information into the computer to mark her spot in line. In fact, you can have them send you a text when your turn is coming up so you can go run other errands or go shopping. I didn't see any problems at this location. read more

I can not believe my experience. I went in because a recurring billing error, that somehow has not been corrected in EIGHT MONTHS. This time, it resulted in my disconnection so I could not contact the people I had been working with through email. Every time I had contacted the Comcast excecutives about these charges, they were more than happy to remove them because it was well established they were not valid. I do not understand why they keep acruing. When I went in to the office, there were 0 customers, and two employees who looked unhappy to see me, and wanting to push me off on the other. There were another 4 employees huddled in the "back room". I explained that I had a long standing, complicated issue and that he should get his manager. He refused, and insisted on "helping" me. As I predicted, he accused me of simply not understanding their policy, when this issue has already resulted in complaint to the FCC and direct action by the regulatory committee. I tried to explain he was mistaken, but he would have none of it. Then he went back to his manager, and said "Deonte (as I recall), This customer doesn't understand our billing policy", a complete misrepresentation. The manager then came at me with attitude, and refused to listen, insisting I was simply uninformed. I had bills in hand showing the specific credits back for charges that were false, he called them "one time credit" for "customer satisfaction", despite one specific type occurring 4 times in one month for ALL prior occurences of the charge, named specifically and showing the dates they were credited for. He kept telling me he could "see right here in the computer" that I did not have free HBO in my contract (already settled that I did) and that the only credit I received for the HBO was a one time (it is recurring monthly). He refused to look at my bills, refused to contact any supervisor of his, look in to the history of my FCC complaint or actions of those much higher on the food chain. I informed him that my wife stood to lose her job as she worked from home, all over their mistake. At one point I said the word "bull***", in a completely empty store, and was immediately kicked out of the office. read more

Never had a bad experience here. My only regret is that there isn't a local number to this specific store available. I would rather not have to drive 20 minutes to the location to ask a store specific question I could have simply called about. Wading through the menu driven quagmire of an automated 800 number with the occasional longer wait times to ask a question they often can't answer about a specific store anyway, can be very frustrating. This is the worst customer service in a store I have ever received. My 20 minute wait at check in was more like 90 minutes when I finally left. The reason: Chester was busy trying to date the customer and not conducting business, the other ladies were busy gabbing with each other, one lady left for 20 minutes with a client and went to Jimmy Johns and came back just to continue a lengthy conversation another rep sat on her cell phone talking with no one at her window, and finally the last employee disappeared in the back and was never seen again. They are jerks. I was was returning a box of stuff I DID NOT order and asked for help carrying the box in. Very heavy awkward box. They refused and then Chester walked away from me.
