Terrible! They do not have customer service that speaks to one another. We have been scammed 3 times by them telling us that we have received a deal, promotions and discounts then to get a bill in the mail at twice the cost it is suppose to be. I'm at a loss and feel like a little fish at the beckon call of a big giant. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. Been trying to move service and need to talk to a customer service rep., some times you can not do a chat. That's pretty much impossible. The automated system hangs up on you since it won't send you to where you need to go and won't transfer to an agent. read more

First off I'm not sure this is the right century dink but all other facts I have to share with you are entirely true. So after having been a customer for 8 years at 12Mbps I finally decided to upgrade when I get a cardboard flyer in the mail that promises 60Mbps for $45. Which I believe because I know they installed a new fiber optic junction box under 100 yards from my residence. I was quoted 80Mbps bundle for $95 a month. Sounds good to me. But I actually now have 40 for $110.40 per month. This is without satellite TV. Just internet and phone bundled. So the call takes what seems like forever and I make a date for 2 weeks. When the guy shows up he tells me it was thrown on the last minute. He said it would come back tomorrow Sat. PITRFA! So sat comes. 1-4pm install date. I wait and wait and wait. Finally 20 min to 4 I call him and he tells me it has been assigned to some one else. About an hour and 40 minutes after that my internet is cut off. Dead as a doornail. I call the company number which now spits me out a whole bunch of order numbers like I am some kind of dumb robot who is going to be confused by all their royal BS. I go about 2 days w/o internet service. I work from home on the computer with the internet. So Monday comes, the third day of promises. The original installer promised on sat that I'd be first on Monday morning. So I stay up the whole morning then take a sleeping pill after I thought he wasn't coming like he had done before. After about an hour into my slumber the bastard installer wakes me. The installation is beyond lousy. The wire hangs down below the joists. This means it could not be finished off w/o working with the fiber optic cable again. But all four of the phone lines are there and properly installed up to code affixed to the joist far enough up such that a drywall nail or screw could not penetrate them. That's how the fiber optic should be installed! That's the basement now for the upstairs. He left the boxes just dangling in mid-air. Because he did not thread the fiber optic cable through the housing on the housing that stands the unit up I had to grind away through the side of it to make room for the fiber optic cable so it would not be pinched. ( I did go to college for electronics BTW! ) Then I installed the screw so the whole box could stand up. The tech also told me the ONT should be bolted to the wall but he left that hanging as well. At one point he actually had the gall to tell me that he liked his job because its a union job and "The company doesn't fuck with you much" My opinion: They should fvck with him a lot more. Removing his job or retraining him would be a start. I think he even lied to me about his name. The email I got had a different name. I'd rate their installation service a -10 if I could. I think all this hassle is at least worth a $100 credit to my account. After all my time is money, too, and he wasted almost 3 days of it and left me w/o internet for almost 2 days. Is this really the definition of service? read more

Hello CenturyLink Bad review; I am giving them a Negative one star rating for this company. My daughter has account with CenturyLink and was changing her account over to me since I am the home owner. But I started my account same time with CenturyLink and since she is not on my account same home mind you. We are paying double for services. I asked for my money back and close the account they took my money all of it and charged my daughter for the same services. This company is a thief and cheat robbing me of my money which should be paid back the initial 45.00. When you talk to the customer service they don't know how to discuss that two people are paying for internet services at the same residence. The state of MN should go after these bad people. We don't take any service other than high speed internet for computer. Gloria Caldwell in Maple Grove, MN read more

I pay $75 a month for shit internet. I can barely stream anything and forget about any online gaming play. Their "bundle" with direct tv was horrible, I paid over $300 just to get out of it. If there is a computer running forget about watching anything online. TV streaming is a joke on this internet. I'm seriously considering cancelling all together and using my Verizon hot spot. It's way more reliable. read more

Negative STARS is what I rate this company. I was schedule for install July 5th 12pm -4pm confirmed by email and they showed up at 10am, of course we weren't home! Rescheduled for today July 16th and after 1 1/2 hours and being transferred to EIGHT people! They say it was never scheduled! Now we can't get installed until July 28th!!! THATS ONE MONTH AFTER I ORIGINALLY ORDERED SERVICE!! read more

Not bad actually, their customer service, eh some good people, but the main reason why I'm giving centurylink 3 stars, is because their are very often speed drops, it's annoying, but most of the time it's pretty average. read more

Internet never worked so i cancelled my service and returned the modem. They continued to bill me so I called them and sat on hold for 45 minutes. When I finally got through to someone they accidentally hung up on me. Finally got through and cancelled my service again. Then I got a letter from a collections company for not paying the bill for the Internet I never used. I'm still in the process of trying to end my service. I hate this company. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars! I signed up for century link back in July after moving to MN. I received my modem in the mail, however there was a problem with the phone lines to my apartment unit and I was not able to connect for services. I cancelled within the cancellation period and requested return labels to return my modem. They have a policy where you must return the modem within 30 days to avoid paying for the modem. After 2 weeks I had not received my labels, so I called to inquire, I was specifically concerned about getting the modem back to them within 30 days. The reason I had not received them was because they had not processed my initial request. I was assured that I would not be charged as long as I returned the modem, even if it was beyond 30 days since it was their mistake not sending me my labels in a timely fashion. I did return the modem and tracked the package to ensure it was received. I thought this was the end of my CenturyLink saga as I had been told I would not be responsible for any fees for the modem. Much to my surprise I received a bill from a collections agency yesterday in the amount of $147.68! This is due to the modem and associated fees that I returned 6 months ago! CenturyLink customer service was able to confirm that they did receive the modem, and have since submitted a credit for the same amount, however it has not yet been approved and I feel like it's a mad dash to get this sorted out before my credit is ruined forever due to CenturyLink's ineptitude. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! read more
