I don't usually leave reviews but I figured I'd warn like minded individuals who care about their car and wheels not being damaged. I got a flat traveling on interstate 5 and needed to see if I could get the tire plugged in order to continue on to Portland. Les Schwab was booked up for hours so I checked Wyatt's tire over the phone and they had a spot for me immediately. The service manager, (Josh I believe) was weird and pushy but I do think he was trying to genuinely help. Despite that, one of the workers took off the tire and damaged my recently refinished BBS wheel because of their careless procedure to take the tire off. After that I just requested they stop working and I decided to go elsewhere. Small thing but they also didn't put the cap back on the valve stem. I'm only giving 2 stars because they didn't charge me to take the tire off and the service manager gave me a number to get a cheap tire elsewhere which was considerate. Picture attached is the one that was damaged due to using the incorrect tools/carelessness with that metal scoop on the edge of the rim. I watched as he drove that into the edge of the face of the rim all the way around. Simply put it was either extremely poor workmanship and complete incompetence to not know you're going to mar up and scratch the finish of an aluminum wheel, or a very inexperienced worker using the wrong tool for the job and not speaking up that they don't have the right equipment. Either way, completely unacceptable. I would not recommend anyone who values keeping their wheels/car in good condition to go to this business. read more

Drove a long way to have them put some new tires I recently purchased on my truck, only to have them tell me they, "didn't have the right size tool to take the lug nuts off" my wheels (even though the previous tire shop I used didn't have any problems with that). So I immediately went to another tire shop nearby, and they sounded surprised that I even asked, and told me, "of course we can take those lug nuts off". And it only took them about 30 minutes to mount and balance the new tires. Don't trust a tire shop that doesn't have the right (basic) tools for the job. Bought an Rv out of state and needed new tires before driving home. Called Wyatt's and was able to make an appt for the next day. All the guys were quick and educated on what they were doing. About 2 hrs later we were back on the road with new tires. Also wanted to add that when I called the shop to see if they had the tire size I needed I gave the wrong size which quoted me a cheaper price than the tire size I actually needed, but Wyatt's was kind enough to honor the original quoted price. read more

Yesterday at 3pm I got a flat. After calling for towing service, I called Wyatt's to check if they had a tire for my car. They had one left and held it for me until the tow truck arrived and got me there. Josh was super busy, but even 30 minutes before they closed, he managed fo make time for my last-minute, unscheduled visit. This is the second (or third?) time I've done business with Wyatt's Tire, and each time they've been very professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. In fact, AAA suggested I go elsewhere, to one of their partner tire shops, but I requested Wyatt's specifically because I've had good experiences with them before. Had a rental van from Portland with a leaking valve stem which Wyatts diagnosed after we repeatedly had to fill air on our road trip. Road tripping from Portland to Cali last week, I ran into a huge item that fell off of a truck in front of me in the next lane. Miraculously, no collisions and no injuries to anyone as a result. Thankful for defensive drivers all around! (and proud of my own driving after fishtailing into the adjacent lane and center divide!) After responders came and left and I gained my composure I entered back onto I-5, and the TPMS light came on. I can't drive 9 hours without knowing my tires are safe, so I stay the night in Eugene and called Wyatt's in the morning. Quick to answer the phone and a friendly, "Come in and we can take a look" from Arlan. Arlan took the time to take care of things and get me back on my way. So thankful for their aloha! I was having trouble accessing the tire valve stem of my Honda ruckus scooter with not only the air pressure gauge but most importantly the inflator. After visiting four other places from fast stations to bicycle repair shops I was recommended by another car tire dealership to Wyatts and they not only filled my tire but also made recommendations of other additional alternative devices in order to allow me to be able to access the valve with a pressure gauge and inflator. I was headed from Oregon to California recently... then the tire pressure light came on within the first hour of driving- a nail in my already worn tire. We called around to a few places to see if we could get in asap to avoid delaying an already long drive and Arlen from Wyatt's Tire Co answered. I needed my snow tires put on my Tahoe and the shops in Bend were booked out for a month. Wyatt's had time to do it and I was in Eugene on business. It took an hour and I was thrilled until I saw the charge. $198 to mount 4 tires is double what I normally pay in overpriced Bend. But I didn't ask for a quote, so it was my mistake. On top of this they pointed out that one of my summer tires had a split in the casing. They told me it was due to running low air pressure and an impact. I run my tires at the recommended 35 psi and they told me that since these are heavier truck tires I should have had them at 50 psi (on a half ton!]. They then quoted me $1650 for a new set, which is $100 above MSRP per tire. When I got back to my regular tire shop they looked at the tire and told me it was a factory defect and that no one in their right mind would run these tires at 50psi. I don't know what these guys were trying to pull but the whole experience reeks of upselling and over charging. read more

I pulled in about five minutes before closing not realizing that they were closing and Josh and Ryan stuck around and fixed my flat tire for free because I had purchased my tires from them. When all was said and done they wouldn't take the tip I wanted to give them for there time and said that my loyalty to there business was enough. Everybody else wanted $70-87 to mount and balance 3 tires. They charged me $130. Unacceptable. I even called them out on it and they STILL wouldn't budge! Sorry but them charging 50% more then the next most expensive store in town (firestone) is not cool. :-( At the end they did reset my low tire pressure alarm which was nice. I bought 4 tires for my forester costing me almost 600 dollars. It took an hour of this guy typing a calculator and making me feel like crap for not buying the 800 dollar option. They came with a warranty on service. I had to fix a tire from another car at tire sport and they saw that our forester tires were way over inflated. Tire sport offered to fix it but i declined because i thought wyatts should see what they had done. They were inflated to truck tire spec. They deflated them looking a little embarrased but no apology for almost destroying my brand new tires. So time goes on and one of the tires goes flat. I took it in and they said it needed to be cleaned to re inflate. I left it there over night and came back to get the tire. They said after i happily grabbed the tire i need to grab the invoice in the office. I was thinking to myself.... "seriously am i going to pay for this too" it was a 35 dollar bill for cleaning and sealing the rim. I was veey upset and made it know i was upset to the manager who just sat there nodding his head misunderstanding everything i was telling him. He defended his employees saying the warranty doesnt cover the wheel. I told him i would have gladly cleaned that wheel myself had i known i would have to pay. The old guy from the shop came and stood behind me and stated ge told me of the cost. I think i would have said no if i knew it woulf cost me even more money. Then he tried to tell me everyone some other guy hearx that as well. I had already payed the 35 dollars by this time which i regret. I let them know what a joke their shop was and how they lost my business for life and all for 35 dollars. I would reccomend les schwab or Tire Sport. Actually Highly reccomend TireSport. Tire Sport has always been fair, kind, and affordable. They actually care for their customers and will meet you halfway. read more

Called ahead this last Monday to bring in a set of studded snow tires I've had for sale for over a month. Brought them in and was offered $200. I felt like that was a bit low and wanted to continue shopping around for a better price, to which the manager said was fine. After having another potential private sale fall through, I decided that enough was enough and that I would just settle for this price. Went back in today and another manager only offered me $120. After telling them that I was just offered $200 by the office manager. They took one of my tires inside and talked to the manager I spoke with previously. After a few minutes they come back outside and tell me they want to pass. Mind you, the manager from Monday said that it was fine if I go shop around and try to get a better price. It seemed like he was willing to hold that offer if my other options fell through. Obviously not. I would not be writing this review if my family's holidays weren't at stake but these guys had absolutely zero compassion for my situation or the previous expectation they had set. I find this to be a fairly shady business practice and I hope that this may help someone else make a decision about which local tire company they give their business to. read more
