First time in any of their stores. I was greeted upon entrance, and thanked for coming in upon leaving. In between I wandered the aisles on my own, searching in vain for my size. One of the staff members did offer assistance. She said that my size sells out very quickly. She did try to find anything at all for me to no avail. It is possible to special order in, she mentioned. I'm a bargain shopper and that includes shoes. When I saw this store from the outside I didn't think that they would have any good deals but I was wrong. They don't price match but they don't inflate prices to make you think you think that they're the only place in the world that's selling at that price. You know how discount malls like to pretend that every product they have started at $200 and then discount it to a price everyone else is pretty much selling it for too? I hate that and WSS doesn't do funny business like that. The customer service here is nice. I talked with a couple of workers to see if they had my sizes and such and they were all courteous. Most all of them would ask me if I needed any help if we caught eyes as they were walking by. This store doesn't always have the best prices. I mainly check against Amazon and what I've noticed is that sometimes Amazon is cheaper and sometimes WSS is cheaper. This new and improved WSS just opened 2 mo ago. They have a very large clean retail area full of shoes, socks and accessories like backpacks. Their large selection is for the whole family: men women & kids Sporty shoes included brand names like Nike, Converse & Vans. Their back walls are also filled with huge Clearance areas. I went in looking for dress shoes for myself. I noticed they have dress shoes for as low as $16.99 but they didn't look that great. I saw a couple Stacy Adams models for $49.99 that caught my attention. But they have a very limited selection for Men size 13+. So only one box for me to choose from. I bought it but unless they increase their options, I have NO reason to return. read more

Man! I came in to buy a couple of pair of shoes. Just bought one and was going back. Went back to exchange the shoes I got, but was stopped in the middle of the store by two employees saying I had to leave my already purchased item at the front! It was in the same receipt and same bag I had already purchased it in, and they made me give them my shoes and they left it at the front with all of the crap they kept back there (trash, food, disorganized mess). I was worried they would lose it so I just returned it. I asked if they could put it back on my card and they said no; so they returned it back to me in cash which isn't what I wanted. I received two pairs of boots as a holiday gift. They were the incorrect size. I went to the store with my gift receipt in hand.First I looked around and did not find anything I wanted. So I went to the counter provided the receipt was told I would not be unable to get a refund un less I had the original receipt which I did And the credit card to credit back to the account?? 1) this was a gift and I had a gift receipt. 2) the purchase took place on December 20 I went into the store on January 9, 2022. 3) Even though this was a gift from my spouse. I was told I needed to go get his credit card/debit card and ID and bring it back so that it could be credited back. 4) I even asked him to take the information and mail me the check.
