Fashion Gal is located inside the Wal-Mart shopping center. I stepped into Fashion Gal while…read morewaiting for my car to get unlocked as I accidentally locked my keys in the truck. Somehow, I ended up with my wallet, so what better time to shop? Fashion Gal has a lot of trendy clothes, and I've been wanting to update some pieces in my wardrobe, so I took a lap around. Unfortunately, a lot of the clothing had cheap/thin material and high prices. However, directly to the left of the store - upon entering - was a clearance section. The items ranged from about $3 to $20 in the clearance section plus there was an additional discount on some of the items. I looked at a cute blue dress that I wasn't sure I wanted, wandered away, found out they have dressing rooms, and went back to try on the dress, where I found a cuter, fitter, smaller lady eyeing it. I watched, eagle eyed, as she lifted it up from the rack to check it out and eventually put it back. I bolted over and grabbed it, trying it on in the dressing room. It fit and looked really nice! Score! It cost $5! I've wandered in here a few times after shopping at Wal-Mart to look in the clearance racks for more nice, discounted clothes. I found a pretty dress (but had cheap material) for $3, a cute skirt skirt for $3, and romper for $3. Everything was also discounted for another 20%, so I walked away with three cute items of clothing for less than 10 bucks! Usually I now only look in the clearance section, then I'm out when I find nothing I like. Everything else in the store is a little overpriced for my tastes, but I definitely was excited to find some cute pieces. And it's a good way to hype up yourself up for going into the busy Wal-Mart shopping center to do some essential shopping when you know needless and fun shopping at Fashion Gal is next!

She went on and on about a place we had already enjoyed. 2. I sat down because I have a condition that makes standing up for too long to cause me pain, while my friend shopped. The same clerk asked if my friend, who looks nothing like me and is a couple of years older than me, was my daughter. This all made me feel so bad and highly insulted that I had to write a bad review. I wonder if this clerk is the owner. Maybe try a more positive and polite way to interact with your customers. I wish my friend had not bought anything from them. I know I didn't!!!

It is a locally-owned small business, started by a woman whose family has been here for generations. The buyer really knows their products, has a great sense of style, and really takes pride in her shop. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because there aren't a lot of plus-sized things there yet, and that's what I fit into. I'm sure they will expand as their success continues.

First was new shorts, flip flops (or whatever the kids are calling them these days) and a hat. The employees were nice and let me roam. The place was clean and very orderly. I ended up needing to return the shorts and it was easy but I they only give store credit or gift card. Didn't bother me as I quickly found something to get. Even though we got lost deep in the socks, I absolutely appreciated how organized the socks are by categories such as different kind of animals, professions, movie characters and occasions. Each sock price varies from $7.99 - $16.99 and they have tall socks and short socks. I picked up 4 pairs for gifts and I was honestly shocked that I spent about ~$50 on socks but at the same time, I like each design of the sock was unique and fun and best part is supporting a local business.
