We made a jewelry purchase the other day. Today we learned there are no returns on jewelry. However, the sign at the register doesn't say that. It just says, X days for return or refund. I was in that time frame. I was told it says it on the receipt there are no returns. Well, if the sign doesn't say it. Neither associate said it, but the receipt says (after the purchase of which were now stuck with), then when are we supposed to know? We're not shopping here again. Service was great! The dresses were all so gorg but for my school I need a more modest dress. Most stores have a very limited selection of modest dresses and this unfortunately being one of them. I didn't end up buying anything because of this reason and by all means this is not the store it self's fault, but I would like a more inclusive modest collection of clothing. read more

The store hours were 12-7pm. My teenage daughter & I arrived shortly after 12pm. When I stepped out to add money to the meter at 12:40, I noticed that there was a sign on the door that said "We are closed for the day. Sorry for the inconvenience. Visit us online or the Thousand Oaks store." Very strange but I thought, "Surely, they will let me back in because my daughter is still in the store trying on dresses or, at the very least, let me back in so I can pay." While I was waiting outside the store in the heat, my daughter asked the associate if I could come back in and she said I could not. What's the point of having store hours when they are not honored? So it was almost an accident that I found this store, because I entered the shopping center from a different entrance to get to Ulta, which was the ultimately the main reason I came to the Collection last night. As I drove by I saw a sign that said New Markdowns (yay!) then I saw a really cute outfit from the display window and said to myself, "why not??" I'm so glad that I came in because I ended up walking out with 2 Fab Vegas dresses for this weekend! As I entered around 7:45p last night, there was maybe 1 other customer shopping in the store, I loved that- it wasn't crowded so it was like I had the store to myself! The store is organized by colors and occasion: fancy/ballroom like dresses are located in the back corner, in the front right corner house the cocktail LBD's and reds. As you enter to the left you find cute Spring-like dresses and to the rear left you find the super casual, chill pieces. In the center of the store you find accessories and throughout the store you find shoes/heels and purses. Needless to say this is a very, very girly store. The workers are extremely helpful in finding what you need. As I would like to give this store a 5 star rating, the only downfall about this place would probably be the price of the items. For the different dresses that I tried on, the minimum price was $39.99, and for the material on some of them...they felt rather on the "cheap," thin side- so that was questionable. My deciding factor for the pieces I purchased was of course the price and the thickness of the material. If you aren't happy with your purchase they have a decent return policy: with a receipt- full refund within 14 days; after 14 days you receive store credit, not bad. I would definitely come back to this store to check out their casual pieces as they were super cute and things that I would wear on the daily. So I went with my friend to find a valentine outfit last night. This particular store in the collection made me and my friend feel so uncomfortable to shop around. They kept looking at us and following us around as if we were going to steal something. Every time I would grab something one of the sales associates and manager would come and ask me if I wanted them to hold my items for me, even though I let them know that I was looking for a valentine outfit and that I was fine. Now if you know your going to buy something and your not going with a mind set that your going to steal something , just imagine how uncomfortable that type of customer service would make anybody feel ? The girls there had no smiles just serious faces and when it was time for me to get ring up the register girl had no eye contact with me didn't ask me if I find everything okay. Just looked at her co-works and smiled at them. They also kept pointing at me while I was there shopping around which is why they made me feel more uncomfortable. And took them forever to get me a fitting room waited like 15 minutes and it wasn't Busy And looked so annoying getting me one. I understand retail procedures for theft but this was to much they make you feel like a criminal just walking in there. I had the displeasure of learning that I missed the window for a return I purchased 12/22/18, I was to have returned it by 1/7/19 because any purchases made between 11/24/18 and 12/24/18 had to be returned by 1/7/19. So if I had bought the skirt during the Black Friday, I get more time to return, but since I bought it right before Christmas I got less time to return. Does that make sense? I am so sad by my experience yesterday. I am currently disabled. I have no use of my thumb or wrist due to recent surgery. I have an upcoming wedding and need a dress. I have two young kids and fot a sitter so that I could go have a successful trip and so my husband could go in a dressing room with me and help me with things that I can not do... zippers, buttons ect. I went to Windsor took time to pick out 6 dresses and waited in a long dressing room line. When it was my turn the girl informed me that my husband could not come in. At this point my arm was covered so I showed her and explained I would be unable to get things zipped up without help. She told me to go in and come out half dressed and he could help me outside the room. This shocked me. I then said I would be unable to get my current clothes off without help (I had pants with buttons and a bra on) she still said "no" and seemed shocked that I couldnt continue. This was like a punch to the gut. Silly I know but I had gone to so much trouble already to get to that point. I went to the car and just cried. I cant believe that this happened and will never go back in my lifetime this was so disturbing read more

I am very impressed with this store! They have tons of dressed for all occasions! From casual to very formal! The prices are fair and the quality of the dresses is impressive. They carry a variety of sizes even plus sizes! The place is organized and the fitting rooms are spacious. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond to help. A nice young lady (I wish I would of gotten her name!) kept offering help and took my items to the fitting room. Ladies check out this the store first for any dress you need for any occasion! I went in this morning looking for a dress I had found on their website. Unfortunately they didn't have the dress I was looking for but I did find a dress for Valentine's Day and a couple other pieces and some jewelry I fell In love with. There were 3 girls working there and I was the only one shopping. They girls were so nice and helped out so much, I got into a nice conversation with the girl who rung me up. As I was shopping for a dress at Windsor one of the employees (white young woman) kept following me around the store just watching my every move. She wasn't trying to be friendly or offer any assistance, in fact she didn't even smile at me and was being very rude towards me. She made me feel very uncomfortable. When I finally found a dress that I liked I asked another employee if I could try it on, and the white employee straight out said "What is she going to try it on for? It's not like she's going to buy it anyway". Being a woman of color I know too well what it's like to be discriminated against and this happens much too often in our society, and more people need to speak up against racism and discrimination to stop such ignorance and foolishness....not to mention unprofessionalism! It's obvious that she hates herself otherwise she wouldn't express so much hate towards others. It's 2015 people! I came here the other night in search of a dress for a holiday party coming up. After trying on several dresses I finally found the one!! Unfortunately the seams were torn and the other dresses in the same size and style seemed to be damaged.. Makeup, deodorant and glitter stains. Horrible customer service! One of the employees forgot to take off the security tag of one of the shoes my wife purchased. We go back so they can help us take it off and they just say go get your receipt. I'm sorry but who keeps receipts, specially for a mistake they made. The people here were rude. They were acting like we were criminals and were planning to steal something and whispering to each other about me and my sister. I don't really care if you do that to me but they took it to far. She was insisting that there could be only one person per dressing room but we could hear another person in the room next to us with her friend giggling and laughing. Then she was also insisting that she needed to count the dresses even though another sales associate already counted for us and put the dress in the dressing room. We were shopping more floor length prom dresses. Where we going to put that? My sister was carrying a really small purse! Also, the racks of clothes were all squished together making it hard to get a single item out. And the clothes are also a hit or miss. If u find the right size, there's a chance that their is some type of stain on it like makeup or something else. They would not let me return the TAPE, that I never opened, and bought less then 12 hours ago!! Really??!! They considered it lingerie!!!?? I like having this type of store near by at the collection but every time I go in there and buy something, there's problems. I bought a shirt and asked for a discount because it had deodorant marks on it (from someone else, I did not try it on) she said sure as she helped me find some things I was looking for and knew I didn't try anything on. I got three different outfits and ended up only keeping two. When I returned the third including that shirt I got a discount on...the girl gave me a nasty look and said "did you wear this?" I said no...look I even got it discounted on my bill because I bought it this way and instead of cleaning and keeping it...I just don't want it. She rolled her eyes and refunded me. The next encounter I had...my fiancé and I bought his little sister a dress for our upcoming wedding but they did not remove the security tag. My fiancé never keeps receipts when he buys things and I already knew we'd have problems with this store in particular because of my past experience. So it's still in the Windsor garment bag, he took it back and they made him show the charge from Windsor on our bank account to take it off. As if we would have taken a garment bag if we didn't actually purchase the dress...? I get that these dresses are expensive and whatnot but a little better customer service and not treating their customers like an inconvenience or shady person would be nice. read more

I've been a Windsor shopper for years (TO store) I was super excited about one in Oxnard (5min from me) but it's WAAAAY different! the clothes etc is the same so I love that but the staff not so much.. they ask you to start a fitting room at least 5 times from the moment they see you with items.. I get it it's part of their training for loss prevention but come on if I already said no to the fitting room and to putting my stuff up at the register do you really need to ask me again.. oh and when you say no thank you they spend the rest of your time there following you.. very uncomfortable.. I much rather drive to TO and shop in peace read more

Windsors is one of my favorite clothing stores. The employees are usually super friendly but I can't stand the two managers. (One I believe is manager which is Asian and the other one I know for a fact is mananger which is Mexican) every single time I have had a question I would have to go after them and I get a stupid response. Yesterday I went in made complete eye contact with the manager (Mexican one) and walked toward her, she walked away from me while I was walking towards her so I called out "excuse me" & she turned around and I asked if they have black bootys in my size & asked for a size in the brown bootys, she told me she would check & another girl brought out my brown bootys then I had to go up to her asking if they did have black bootys my size and she told me no. So I just walked away without a word because I don't like either managers tone of voice. So then as my sister is shopping she sees the exact same bootys I have but in black hanging on the wall!!!!! I was furious because the managers don't help with shit! If my sister didn't spotted those I wouldn't have even bought the clothes I had in my hand. So then I tell her she does have the bootys and if she can get me my size. She leaves an employee helps me (which is super nice and bubbly) we were waiting for like 5-8 min looking at jewelry to make time past by. I told the cashier "where are my shoes" she says on the mic "can you get her, her shoes she's about to leave without them" and they got them out in like a min like why did it take the manager 5-8 min stalling us then when I start complaining she brings them out easily. I give two stars, one for cute clothes the other for nice associates. Please get better management read more
