This is one of those rare shops where women at any stage of life can find high quality pieces that feel comfortable, effortless, and truly wearable for everyday life. Most items fall in the $30-$75 range, which makes supporting local feel accessible and realistic. I have made a commitment over the past few years to support local businesses instead of big corporations, and I am genuinely grateful we have a shop like this in Ventura, especially as so many retail spaces are disappearing. The vibe is cozy, cottagecore meets laid back beach town energy, perfectly fitting for downtown Ventura. Warm, inviting, and thoughtfully curated without trying too hard. The kind of place where everything works together, which is honestly a little dangerous. Ashley and Melanie are absolute gems. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in helping you find something that feels like you. Never pushy, never salesy. You can tell they care about the shop and the experience, and it shows. They also carry a small mini-me collection, Sin Min products that smell amazing and feel great, plus jewelry, accessories, and small home decor and stationery pieces that make perfect gifts. The horchata lip balm alone is worth stopping in for. Whether you're shopping in person on Main Street or online, Tiki Girl is a solid go-to when you want something cute, comfortable, and very Ventura. Always support local. Your closet will thank you.

I came here a couple months ago after getting a recommendation from the owner of a thrift store on Main. I met the owner, Donna, and she was the sweetest! As an avid beachcomber, I was thrilled to hear that she accepted sea glass as currency in her shop. My girls and I came in this past weekend for matching jewelry (it was their birthdays!). We fell in love with the Leyla ring. I can't stop looking at the iridescent abalone shell on mine! We also got adorable swell rings to stack on top and they match PERFECTLY! My best friend got a gorgeous blue two tone sea glass pendant necklace. For jewelry handmade in Bali with genuine hand-picked seaglass and quality metals, the prices were actually very reasonable! Our Sterling Silver Leylas were $24 each. The Swells were $19 each. The gold vermeil sea glass necklace was $62 for the pendant and $20 for the chain. We will definitely be back for more beach treasures!

They are located just slightly further down the harbor past most of the restaurants and tourist shops. Again, not too far but I'm guilty of stopping my walks usually around the point that the main restaurants end. Thankfully this store is still with views of the harbor and they had lots of cute window items to pull me in. The store was darling and it's definitely a fun place to shop. Feels like a great store to find more unique and fun gifts for friends. I was able to find a cute little birthday card with a dirty martini that I snagged for an upcoming birthday. Also while looking through the store I was impressed with their candle selection. I snagged a "sunset strip" candle because I'm a rock n roll girly and it reminded me of home in LA. Lots of other cute little goodies here - shirts, bags, jewelry, home goods, book accessories you name it. Fun and cute merch and definitely you can find something for everyone here. I found prices to be anywhere from reasonable to moderate. I think the prices are fair given their location and your supporting local. A cute shop and we'll definitely be back. Staff were nice as well :)

She greeted me and as wandered near their clearance racks, she let me know that they were an additional 40% off the marked price. She cheerfully said it was such a good deal it was almost like they were paying me to take the clothes home. I thought that this was an odd joke considering the fact that the additional discount didn't bring anything down under $100, but she seemed to believe it and then followed it up with a sincerely friendly offer to help me put together an outfit if I wanted. She said this was her specialty and the thing she loved helping with most. They had pretty blouses, jackets, pants, suits and dresses. Several things under $200 on the clearance racks, but the $$$$ Yelp rating is otherwise definitely warranted. The starting price on this brand of fashion is quite high. Overall I liked my visit here. I've been to many markets and collaboratives like this one and truly I love them. I love being able to have variety and finding a bunch of cool creative finds in one spot. However, I wasn't wowed today by the selection and more so the prices seemed pretty steep for downtown Ventura. The positives are that this shop is open and inviting. I really appreciated the outdoor sign as it made this spot easy to find from the Main Street. I appreciated that the merchandise wasn't crowded and the store was easy to navigate. Also the gal working behind the register was so sweet! I had no issues with service here and vibes were friendly. What it really came down to for me was my own personal styles/tastes and the prices being relatively high. Having been to many markets such as this one I just didn't find the assortment to be tailored to my likes as much. Some of the items here didn't seem fresh and look like items I've seen many times over at other collectives. Long story to say nothing screamed out to me as "super cool" or "I need to have it" Also the prices just seemed high on some of the items. A $25 hair clip? If I wanted to pay those prices I'd go to Anthropologie. At an artist collective in a spot like Ventura I wasn't expecting LA prices. I totally understand the prices are likely determined by the artists but when prices are generally high it steers people away. Unless you have deep pockets, it's not super affordable for me. I want to support local and am willing to pay but the quality and uniqueness has to be there. I knew I wasn't alone when I watched a guy and gal next to me look at a clothing price tag and immediately kept moving. Yes, this is a great place to browse. I appreciated the friendly service. But I wanted to shop so maybe the current inventory just isn't for me. I stand behind the effort of what this spot is and I'd definitely check this spot out in a few months to see what the inventories like then and to see if there are more affordable items.

Little Salt Wagon is art from local Ventura County artist Amanda Cox. Simple, but beautiful watercolors inspired by the rural Ventura County surroundings.
