At 41, I really appreciate boutiques that understand style has no age limit, and Tiki Girl…read moreabsolutely gets it. This is one of those rare shops where women at any stage of life can find high quality pieces that feel comfortable, effortless, and truly wearable for everyday life. Most items fall in the $30-$75 range, which makes supporting local feel accessible and realistic. I have made a commitment over the past few years to support local businesses instead of big corporations, and I am genuinely grateful we have a shop like this in Ventura, especially as so many retail spaces are disappearing. The vibe is cozy, cottagecore meets laid back beach town energy, perfectly fitting for downtown Ventura. Warm, inviting, and thoughtfully curated without trying too hard. The kind of place where everything works together, which is honestly a little dangerous. Ashley and Melanie are absolute gems. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in helping you find something that feels like you. Never pushy, never salesy. You can tell they care about the shop and the experience, and it shows. They also carry a small mini-me collection, Sin Min products that smell amazing and feel great, plus jewelry, accessories, and small home decor and stationery pieces that make perfect gifts. The horchata lip balm alone is worth stopping in for. Whether you're shopping in person on Main Street or online, Tiki Girl is a solid go-to when you want something cute, comfortable, and very Ventura. Always support local. Your closet will thank you.

Not usually my kind of style but super cute nonetheless. I have found some fun country styled tees and today I found the most perfect embroidery cocktail tee that I had to snag it. The store is spacious and clothing is nicely laid out. I appreciate that they have multiple fitting rooms and comfortable ones at that. Easy to navigate this store and they do a good job of rotating different trends and styles. The day we came in they also had a good variety of a sizes that I could appreciate. Pricing was fair. As they claim they have different wears between $20-$70. I found that to be true. My shirt was $55 but again nice detailing and unique. Staff was friendly but also not overdone. I appreciate that they give you a hello and then kind of leave you to look the store on your own. However when we did have questions the gal was helpful. Good vibes. Definitely a cute store and it's nice to have a clothing store downtown that tailors to different styles and sizes. While I haven't bought a lot here over the years, when I do find something it's quality and cute, all you could ask for.

Allot of the negative reviews are years ago and it seems like allot has changed since then!!…read more We were greeted right away the moment we walked in! Everything was so mesmerizing,! I have been wanting to come here for two years now and finally made to time to drive out! We were not disappointed !!! So much fun things , from mermaids , to dragons , and fairy's! We loved it all !! Only complaint is I wish they had more of their renaissance style dresses out for kids and more options for men. Also prices are a bit high!

Beware of hostile behavior at the Heart's Delight booth…read more I've been going to Renaissance Faires for years, and supporting small artisan businesses is usually one of my favorite parts of the experience. Unfortunately, an appalling experience with the owner of the Heart's Delight clothing booth completely soured our day at the NorCal Ren Faire on Sunday, 9/20. Around 5:40 PM, a sweet, brand-new employee (on only her second day) was patiently helping me try on and lace up a bodice. My wife politely approached the shop owner to ask if we should check out early so we wouldn't keep them past closing. Instead of answering like a professional, the owner instantly flew into a rage. She was completely dismissive, refused to sell the bodice, and then proceeded to publicly yell and scream criticisms at her new employee from across the shop, leaving the poor worker near tears in front of customers. When my friend took a quick photo of the lacing technique so I could remember how to lace it at home, the owner yelled at her too (there was no posted "no photography" signage anywhere). To top it off, the owner came over to us while I was still in the laced bodice, aggressively ranting about the fit, complaining about my wife's harmless question, and spewing unnecessary negativity. It was jarring, mean-spirited, and completely uncalled for. While vendors have every right to advise on garment sizing, there is zero excuse for verbal abuse, public humiliation of staff, and outright hostility toward paying guests. I felt awful for the employee whose time was wasted, but there was no way I was going to hand over my money to someone treating people that way. Ren Faires are supposed to be welcoming, inclusive, and family-friendly. The owner of Heart's Delight failed on all counts. Save your money and support the many kind, genuine artisans elsewhere in the glen instead.
