Yelp has Throwback Junction as Closed! It is not! As of June, 28, 2025 when I stopped by (2 days ago) it was still opened! My husband is into media, so we popped inside Throwback to check out their merchandise. The place is big, goes back, nicely decorated, clean, well stocked. It surely has character! Customer service was just OK, not the most welcoming, chatty guy, but decent. Unfortunately, their prices are high here, if you're looking for a deal, this place won't offer that. Their media was very pricey, pretty dirty (despite the store being clean, some of their media could have been dusted), with their shocking stickers on, alongside thrift store ones, with a way lower price. So they might flip things? Anyway, it might be too hipster-ish, too bad that trend is spreading to downtown Ventura as well! read more

We may have poked in here previously, but it hadn't made a huge impression on me. On New Year's Day we did a deeper dive and this time it stuck in my mind more. I'll be adding this to a venue-to-visit list when on lower Main Street near the Mission. While this is a thrift store with gently pre-owned goods, it's really more like a vintage boutique. The way it's laid out and merchandised goes very well with the rustic vibe of old brick walls in a historic building space. Many thrift stores can be on the junky side. Throwback Junction is not that at all. I scored a set of handmade woven Christmas tree placemats with matching apron. They were on half price sale. Now that I've been coming here more and getting a feel for what they sell, I've been having better luck with selling some of my items here. I have also come across a few vintage handbags that I have accumulated with my trade, that I received selling. However, they are a little more picker then say your buffalo or crossroads but that's because they have sort of a "theme" at this place. They buy in and sell fashion from the 70s, 80s or 90s with a mixture of other eras in between. They also have great prices here, so coming to shop for second hand is priced in anyone's budget. read more

By far this store is my favorite place to find treasures. I save myself many hours from digging through old items at dirty thrift stores. I love the ambiance at this precious store. I have been here a few times and always find a lot of treasures! It's a funky, hip store with eclectic and current styles as well as vintage. Prices are great, it's like taking all the work out of the thrifting and putting the cool stuff in front of you. Store has a cool vibe! They buy items outright for store credit or cash, check buying hours and styles requested in advance of coming in. There's a reward program which is always a bonus for me! The vibe and decor of this place is really cool! My first time at this store I had a great experience. The woman working was super helpful and sweet. Her customer service and their items were the reason I wanted to come back. After my purchase she mentioned to me that they buy/trade clothes. During my second visit I was excited to see their new merch. I brought five items to trade/sell during this visit. A different woman was working this night and she explained to me that she'd go through my stuff to see what I had. Unfortunately what I had wasn't what they were looking for which I completely understood as they were looking for "spring" styles (even though the aesthetics of the my clothes fit their store/style and spring) What was upsetting was her response which was that they didn't like to carry F21 like other thrift stores as they were trying to be different. Yet ironically as I looked through their new arrivals rack there was a F21 pair of jeans, and the more I looked around the other racks there was F21 merchandise throughout their stores. As mentioned before my first experience here was great and would recommend finding cute finds here but I would definitely not recommend trying to sell/trade clothes. read more

Throwback Junction has such a wide selection of vintage clothing and accessories as well! They even have stuff from Brandy and J Galt that's in new condition and definitely cheaper that retail! I would definitely be coming back in the next week or so to see what new items they have next! read more

First off, I normally don't review businesses on Yelp, but this one deserves a special shout out. My friend took me to this store that recently opened. Throwback Junction buys, sells, and trades new and recycled fashion - pretty cool! My wife and I were both able to easily find things we liked and bought them at a great price. I noticed a lot of name brands in the shop that were actually affordable and half the price of what I'm use to spending. I also loved the ambiance and vintage feel throughout the spacious store. Pictures are attached so you can see the vibe of the store. The owner (Randy) was very friendly as well and I enjoyed hearing him chat about his passion and future plans for Throwback Junction. I will definitely be back when I'm in San Fernando next. I rate it 5 stars based on affordability, ambiance, and friendliness of the owner/staff. read more

When they first open, they would make you come in thinking you be able to selll your items but instead they tell you they aren't buying due to low sales. Waste of mY gas. Also another thing the staff is rude and come off like they are better than you. I was told they don't buy size small clothing because we aren't a big part of their sales income read more

Not a fan I actually took clothes oppose to throwing it away I went at the time they said they accept clothes .....45 MIN LATER (LATE) waste of time this older lady says nothing looks at the clothes under 15 sec says no nothing clothes was in that style that they have and new with tags but it's clearly wasn't an expensive brand because that's all she looked at the brand if it was pricey so she can obviously offer me $3 -$5 bucks and sale it for a few bucks less then in store I get it you don't have to buy the everybody's clothes but be considerate and be on time, polite could of at least took it to another room pretended like you actually looked at it and brought it out and then say no nothing interesting thank you for your time. IT REALLY ISNT THAT HARD read more

Loved the decor and the selection of curated clothes! Not your average thrift store with random clothes. Everything here was thought of for a hip or vintage vibe. A great place to look for Coachella outfits. That being said it is a bit pricey but ultimately your clothing and accessories are worth the money. :) The location is a great mix of traditional vs new business. Traditional as in if you need a quinceañera dress you can find it on this street but also you can find some bomb hipster shit. Throwback Junction is the hipster side. I yelped this place on a whim and was not disappointed! It is a bit on the higher end pricing. I didn't find any piece of clothing that was less than $8.99. However, the quality of the clothing and items they sell are fantastic. This is a great place to find unique and vintage items from buttons to shoes to jewelry to denim. Definitely recommend this place to all and especially those that enjoy thrifting! read more

Great stuff, cool store & good prices. Very rock & roll vibe. Things are clean, in good condition, sorted & displayed well. Used, vintage & new. As an avid beachcomber, I was thrilled to hear that she accepted sea glass as currency in her shop. My girls and I came in this past weekend for matching jewelry (it was their birthdays!). We fell in love with the Leyla ring. I can't stop looking at the iridescent abalone shell on mine! We also got adorable swell rings to stack on top and they match PERFECTLY! My best friend got a gorgeous blue two tone sea glass pendant necklace. For jewelry handmade in Bali with genuine hand-picked seaglass and quality metals, the prices were actually very reasonable! Our Sterling Silver Leylas were $24 each. The Swells were $19 each. The gold vermeil sea glass necklace was $62 for the pendant and $20 for the chain. The staff greeted me as soon as I came in. The store had all kinds of cute handmade vierge and home goods. I got a cute sticker for my water bottle and a greeting card. The shop is open and masks + distancing is required. This is on the main drag in town but a little off the beaten path, so we drove. There are a few parking spots around back and a restroom on the side of the building. We arrived right at opening time and were the only people there aside from the gentleman working at the shop. Summer Camp is small-ish with a framing studio on one side and the shop on the other. The shop side is curated with really lovely plants, pots, crystals, candles, cards, some clothes, and gift-y things. I picked up a card and some palo santo, but honestly could've purchased way more (I had to use some self control). Wasn't here for any framing needs, but worth noting that they have a Yelp check in offer for 15% off custom framing!

Household goods, clothing, boots, tools, etc. Most of it new, but some used. Around the perimeter there are food items--more like a farmers' market. A huge array of beautiful fruits, veggies, and flowers. Also vendors who sell dried foods like beans, rice, and dried chiles. We went during COVID and everyone was masked. It gets a little hot, so early is probably better than later.

Skip the farmers market and come here!

GETTING HERE: Lakeshore is located in the strip mall where the huge Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is…read morelocated at the crossing of Telephone and Main; it's just a few doors down from CBTL. For parking, it's best to head down Telephone and turn into the lot where you see Lamps Plus and Office Depot. (If you find yourself facing Ross, Lakeshore is completely on the opposite end of the lot.) REVIEW: It's OK. I mean, it's fine enough. If you need something in a pinch (instead of waiting for USPS delivery). The staff are friendly enough, too. It's just the prices. AND, especially now it's even worse. :( The store is quite large and I have noticed that their inventory is usually very well stocked. They carry a great variety of inventory too. I would recommend Lakeshore for any educational needs you may have.
