    Cool design

Industry Horror is a new fun store in downtown Ventura. I checked it our recently and the girl working there told me the store opened in May this year, so it's a new addition to the area. Industry Horror is a small, cozy store that sells clothing and accessories (hats, sunglasses, bags, etc) for guys and gals, all with a horror oriented design. What's nice about this store is that they employ people with special needs, helping them develop skills, learn, be creative and productive though fashion. So, that's a wonderful idea. The store has a cool design inside, a nice fitting room, great customer service and funky merchandise, perfect for a cool gift. I know this merchandise it's nor for everyone, but some people will love it. I got my husband a cool t-shirt in here. Prices are reasonable, I love that another cool, one of a kind store popped up in downtown Ventura. That's why I come back to this area for shopping! So, next time you're in the area, pop inside Industry Horror, it's fun, different, cheeky kinda of a store.

I've been coming here since they opened and even buy a lot of their products online, their clothing is quality and the sizing is true to fit so that I can trust purchasing shirts online from them, which is such a nice consistent perk that's hard to find nowadays. I love the entire vibe of this store. It's rock n roll, adventure, and nature focused. They have plenty of gear for your needed camping accessories, clothing and ride ware. If outdoors shenanigans isn't your speed, don't worry, they have plenty of ready to wear cute clothing and such for those who want to look badass but aren't necessarily riding off into the sunset on their bike. They have a perfect balance for both kinds of customers. I love that their inventory and styles change regularly but that they also know what sells and keep purchasing items that are similar but updated for the season. For example I can always count on them getting cool new logo / graphic shirts, candles, and jackets but new styles to keep it fresh. The staff have all always been nice here and helpful. It's always felt like a very welcoming vibe here and I've never had an issues. Honestly their customer service is what keeps me coming back. The store is always well stocked and clean, a great place to shop. I've found so many goodies here over the years. I have many of their graphic shirts, candles, room sprays, home goods and even purchased one of my favorite small little blades from them. If you haven't been to iron and resin yet in downtown Ventura you must definitely go!

I asked a young man that was loading shelves and he called for someone to come help me. Another gentleman came and helped me within a minute. They did have quite a large Oxbow small animal pet products more than I have seen at Tractor Supply. Stych was recommended to me because I was looking for just such a place. My husband hates to shop and Rosie was such a good listener and knew how to coax him into trying on the clothing that would work for him in all the scenarios he described. I went on a Saturday morning and parked across the way, in the medical office lot on Olive and Santa Clara. REVIEW: A solid 3.5 shopping experience but rounding up to 4 due to the great customer service and ease of the return I had to make. I was going on a trip to the PNW and needed (I thought) a sling/crossbody/backpack/day bag of sorts. I looked and looked and figured I should try Patagonia, because Ventura. Right? Prices are steep, but unfortunately, that is (sadly) to be expected in 2026. There were quite a lot of salespeople on the floor. They were talking to each other, but whatev. I found an employee to speak to when I had my choices narrowed down. I bought a sling bag that I was sure would do the trick, but sadly, I had buyers remorse and knew I needed something bigger before my trip. Great service. Great ease of return. Definitely will be back! Thanks Patagonia!

BUT, the staff that work the retail floor seem like a bunch of millennial mean girls who think they are better than the patrons that support the brand. Get a clue! We are why you have jobs. I will forever support Patagonia but am fine shopping online.

I am so happy that I agreed as this place was a journey back into all of my personal travels to Mexico. I immediately knew how special this shop was as I talked to Nicole, and she shared with me the heart of the owners to share the 'artesania' of the indigenous artists of Mexico and South America. I was very impressed with the representation of the different styles of craft from various regions in Mexico! This is one of the best curated collections of the craft from my home country that I have ever seen. It also warmed my heart to see pictures of the artists throughout the shop and to know that the owners consider them friends and have a love to share their gifts with the world. Also, normally, this work is very inflated in our country, making it somewhat inaccessible for people to buy with the crazy markups. I appreciated that they not only had wonderfully curated quality pieces, but the prices were reasonable for the style of work. Knowing that the local artists are being supported to continue to thrive in these crafts makes me want to support this business even more! I love the connection and knowledge that they share. This was evident in my conversation with Nicole. She was so kind and passionate about her care of the shop. It was like walking into a shop, but also have the expertise of an art curator sharing knowledge. Such a wonderful place!!! You will absolutely find a new treasure here!!!
