The name of the store is exactly what happened to me and my friend Lizzy today - we both got lost in socks. Even though we got lost deep in the socks, I absolutely appreciated how organized the socks are by categories such as different kind of animals, professions, movie characters and occasions. Each sock price varies from $7.99 - $16.99 and they have tall socks and short socks. I picked up 4 pairs for gifts and I was honestly shocked that I spent about ~$50 on socks but at the same time, I like each design of the sock was unique and fun and best part is supporting a local business. I'll have to come back to get lost in here again for more future gifts haha. read more

Tons-o-socks with any picture/theme you can think of at this store. Definitely great place for tourists.Heck, I left with $60 worth of socks for myself and for family. Most were in the $5.99-$8.99 price range. There are: children's, men's, women's, ankle, crew, knee high, and even slippers. Customer service was friendly. She greeted each person and offered them assistance. The store is very small and full of merchandise so she stayed near the counter, but she walked around with me when I needed help. So my friend and I stumbled upon this store after we left coastal cone at around 6 pm on a Friday night... another small business in the harbor village. We were in the market for compression socks for work so we were excited to see a sock store . As soon as we walked through the door we were not greeted. We were told to "not come in unless we finish our ice cream". Taken back by how this woman spoke to us we left the store. After contemplating whether to finish our cups of ice cream and return to the store, the decision was made for us. The woman slammed the door behind us as if she didn't want us to return. It would have been nice to be given the option to leave our ice cream cups at the counter while we browsed for a few minutes. We felt this was rude and unprofessional considering we are grown adults and not children running around with ice cream cones. Will not be returning with or without ice cream. read more

A fun store to explore. A lot of fun socks, but we were disappointed to see so few short/ ankle socks. Being in California, especially by the beach, you'd think they'd have more. Crew socks are just too warm to wear most of the year. We bought two pair of crew and three pair of ankle. Would have bought a lot more ankle socks if they'd had them. read more

I debated about reviewing this place, only because I've been there once before and really enjoyed the place. I am a sucker for cute, trendy, socks and since they are located at the Ventura Harbor, it's even better! It wasn't too busy, which is nice. I walked in with an idea in mind and I asked the young girl where their sports team socks were located. She pointed me in the right direction, was friendly enough, and then I looked at their options. Here's the kicker: I went back towards the register to ask her a question and she had a mirror in front of her and was putting on her makeup (mascara it seemed). Granted, she put it down at least to talk with me, but I was fully grossed out and won't be back again. I know there are some trendy sock places at Universal, I'd go there instead. read more

If you do not like socks with designs, then this might not be the best location for you. I got my dad his Father's Day present here. He loves them fancy socks. DO NOT shop here.... horrible customer service . I walked in with my two young kids and was looking to purchase a couple pairs of socks. The manager was so rude to my son who was looking around. She complained to me several times and the service was horrible and she was rude and unprofessional. Basically the harbor was having an Easter egg hunt for eggs and my son spotted one in the store all excited and she was LIKE DO NOT touch my stuff, I explained there was an egg hunt and he wasn't sure. Been here two times in the past week and this place has a lot of different socks! Crew or knee length, movie themes, sports, tv shows, kids, holidays, etc. I didn't find anything I wanted, but it's nice to walk through. I believe this store replaced the toy store they I liked. read more
