Came in yesterday, November 10th around 6/7 p.m. The little mexican girl with long black hair and cake faced was the RUDEST asshole employee I have ever come across. Maybe if you spent less time on your phone behind the counter hiding with your ugly attitude, you would make more sales. I was going to buy 2 pairs of uggs and she was no help, the girl with red hair was super nice though, she looked scared of the other girl 100%. Journey's likes to hire mediocre employees that hate the customers for some reason. The shoes are very expensive here to top it all, and I would've spent the money if it wasn't for her nasty attitude. No greetings when we walked in, no asking if we need help, just stared at, same with every other customer who walked in, no greetings, nothing!? Never coming to this place again, would rather go to the one in Camarillo where they actually help you out and are nice there. That girl isn't going far in life with that attitude, maybe her baby daddy cheated or something but don't take it out on the customer! read more

The worker refused to do my return for a refund because he said the policy is that the item has to be returned back to the same store I purchased it from. That's bull shit because the actual journeys store policy online says that anything bought in store or online with the box and receipt can we returned or exchanged at any journeys store within the days time frame. This worker that's a " GUY " apparently probably lied to me probably because he doesn't get any business throughout the day and not enough sales are made because his work ethic sucks ass. This guy lied to me and his sales service sucks ass. He should NOT be working at a retail store if he's gonna give poor customer service. read more

Paid $90 For a pair of DVS, had to order online through this store, the shoes are practically still brand new, wore less than a dozen times, no wear marks, and the stitching on the shoes is completely coming undone. Store will not do anything to help. Just gave us the customer service number and that was it. Apparently they are selling garbage now and do not back the product they are selling. read more

Journeys is such a fun environment to be in! I'm always greeted by kind employees. Today I was helped by Tabitha! She helped me pick the perfect size when I was indecisive. She even showed me which socks would be best with the shoes I was purchasing! Then another employee I think, Amanda helped me with a doc care kit to keep my shoes nice and clean. My teens love the selection at Journeys. Converse, Vans, Timberland, Toms, many others. We never get out with just one pair. Which is why they lost me as a customer when I purchased two gift certificates for Christmas, and when my daughter went to use one, it returned, inactivated. Luckily, I kept the receipt, which had the certificate's unique ID number on it, the amount paid, and they STILL wouldn't honor it. I have my online checking showing the corresponding debit. The manager was on the phone with her Corporate office for 25 minutes. They said the "that" set was closed (it was a Sunday). They said they could get it worked out in 24-48 hours and email it to me. What other evidence do they need? We will see if I ever get the gift card or the refund. read more

I came in here looking for some Disney Vans merchandise. First time here. Will be back! Cheyenne was very helpful! I felt guilty that she was spending too much time with me (that's how I felt, not sure if it was true though) instead of helping other customers, but she was awesome! Answered all my questions about the Disney Vans, looked online for a Disney backpack for me too. Checked in with me several times, assured me to take my time in deciding which shoe I wanted. I love Journeys!! They have the greatest selection of Converse in assorted colors and diverse tops. There prices are reasonable too! Doc Martens have entered the fashion scene again and Journeys has a variety of styles to choose from. They have other great shoe brands in the latest styles, so check them out. I love journeys selection but we always have to order the size we need. It is a small store. The staff is typically attentive and helpful.

Horrible customer service. Require physical paper receipts for any return. It's like shopping in 1991, the styles are all the same too.

Ordered my size shoe online shoes arrived late and didn't fit. I ordered the same size as all my other shoes. Went into store had to get a refund because the style I wanted wasn't available in a size that would fit size 10. I've never wore a size 10 before. I've been to plenty of journeys and today I got the best service ever!! I walked in 5 minutes before closing and Madison was extremely helpful. She was so kind and patient. She took her time to explain how sizing worked and showed which cleaner was for each part of the sandal. She is a super cool person to talk to and I liked that because she helped me pick colors that suit me and didn't just sell me something that I was going to regret when I got home. As a dude pushing 50 and putting the finishing touches on his mid-life crisis by buying his first pair of Dr. Martens since the 90s, I was a bit leery of shopping in a store that I saw as being geared toward a crowd much younger than I, populated by a staff that was young enough to be my offspring. I needn't have worried. Everyone in this store was well beyond accommodating. Very friendly employees and welcoming! Erik and Jazz were working at the time. Erik was exceptionally helpful and patient. They helped me look for the right Dr. Marten wax. I was just at the Journeys at the Pacific View Mall, in ventura and bought some beautiful new Doc Martens. I love this store and was so happy with the customer service. This one girl in particular, I forgot to ask her name, but she was so friendly and sweet. She had black glasses, and red-ish/dark hair. She was fabulous and a very big help to me.
