As much as I love a good deal. Coupons. Rewards. Even customer service in store. It needs some improvement. A defective shoe should NEVER be been given. Then I have to contact Customer Service myself due to the false information I'm provided that I can exchange the DEFECTIVE shoe at any WSS location. WRONG! Since it was an ONLINE store-pickup order. It must be processed online and shipped back. What a hassle! I appreciate the worker who went outta his way to look for another pair in my size in store. I did an online purchase and tried to return it at this store, but they told me that I need approval and provided me a phone number to call. I called got the approval and returned to the store. They said they weren't notified of the approval. I stayed at the store and called the number again and requested they send an email. Manager got the email and said the email was to vague. Terrible customer service. Please keep in mind if you exchange your shoes and then change your mind, you must have BOTH receipts or you can't get your money back. Maybe they should staple the receipts together if that's the case. Luckily for me I drove home and found my original first receipt. Terrible customer service relations and the longest wait time in line. They need to hire some more employees and make some adjustments to their "company policy". Don't shop here. Taliyah (Update Found Out How To Spell Her Real Name) Came to visit and someone forgot to grab my shoes lol but lucky we found a WSS and Talia )I think that's how you spell her name) but she was awesome, very friendly and outgoing and she helped me find some shoes in my size, I wear size 15 and it's almost impossible to find in a store, I normally have to order them online, but she was able to find some nice size 15's in the colors I wanted, I was really taken back about how Dedicated she was in helping me and her job. She went above and beyond, she checked every brand name in the store looking for my size, so Thank you much for helping me and saving this trip, I'd have been mad the entire time not having fly shoes. I brought my children there to buy a couple pairs of shoes. When we got to the cashier(Belen) one of my children found the shoe he likes and the other one brought the shoe she wanted but didn't find the size that fits her. We asked her if she could check the computer of two other wss stores might have it so we can drive there and buy it. She said that she was almost positive their store has it and brought my daughter with her to the shoe aisle and found it for her. On 8/6 around 1pm I brought my boys shoe shopping for school. My son fell in love with a pair of Adidas. I looked at the price 49.99, the sample shoe had a plastic footshaped insert which also stated the 49.99 and the shoe was placed above the price. The description fit the color of the shoe (beige) and the brand. We looked for my sons size, we couldn't find it so I spoke to an employee guarding the door and he found someone to help me (Greg). He walks with us and helps us locate the shoe. He shows me the box and tell me they're 64.99. I then show him where the shoe was at and the price it is labeled for. I show him the sample, the insert and the price it states. Then he tells me one of the employees made a mistake. So i tell him, well its advertised at 49.99. can you honor the price? He tells me he can't. So i ask if there's a manager I may speak to because this is false advertisement (your display all points to this shoe being 49.99) He tells me he Greg IS the manager. So i ask, why can't you honor the price? It is not my fault your employees made a mistake. He tells me he cannot change the price because the barcodes are different. Wow. So I ask, your not going to help me, he says no the barcodes are different. And that's it. I know as well as anyone who has ever worked in retail that a manager HAS the authority to change a price. (Whether the barcodes match or not) that's why you OVERRIDE. When and if a situation like this arises you are to help the customer, keep them happy and fix the issue so that it DOES NOT happen again. It was a store/employee mistake, the customer should leave the store happy. I left extremely upset, you can imagine how sad my son was. So not only did you lose sales for the day, you also lost a customer, I will not shop here again. The fact that your "manager" could not fix a small issue proves that you are lazy, unprofessional and do not care about your customers. *if you shop here be sure to read all the barcodes at all times, apparently you have to.* read more

Stood in line for 20 minutes to pay for a gift card. Maybe if the employee Ashley got on a register the line would move a lot faster. Seriously, she moved some bags around 3 times to 3 different spots behind the registers but wouldn't open up. She just stood there avoiding eye contact from angry shoppers cos they were tired of standing in damn line while she obnoxiously did nothing of importance. Located in a little 'gem' of an area called the ghetto, on Holt and Central, is WSS Shoes. And I 'aint complainin'. They have a yelp check in deal for $10 off a $50 purchase. Times are tight and the babies needed new kicks. They have all the shoes the cool kids are wearing. We left w/ two pairs of Converse and two shirts for the kiddos (yup, they sell clothes too). Best part? I only spent $101 and some change. WSS has the whole package- helpful sales people, good prices and selection. They've made a fan out of me and we'll be back for sure. read more

First and last time i buy from this place, on 6th of October 2017 i bought shoes from this store for almost 65$ and after a day or two i put these pairs on and boy did not they hurt my feet !! Luckily i had the original box but i couldn't find my receipt, called the store and asked for exchange and they said even if i don't have the receipt it will be fine as long as THE SHOES ARE NOT USED/WORN !!! So as i said, i wore them for ONE DAY (not even a full day 8 hrs) setting on a desk not even moving ok, and i did wiped the bottom of the shoes from dust that was normally collected when i had them on and went to the store, and they only reason i bought them is because i always hear the name on the radio and said why not give it a chance. Went to the store and MR. DOOR KEEPER was waiting when i entered with a question " you returning these ?" And i was yes i am, him: NO RECIPT, me: no, then he took one pair out and starter turning and flipping left and right, starting at the bottom, inside all over, then he took the second pair and did the same, suddenly, went to the shelve were i bought mine and grabbed another pair and starter comparing and i'm standing and watching then he goes: we can not take this back because its old and been worn !!! I said excuse me ? First they are not old, i got them few days ago and i wore them once and they hurt my feet and i don't want to return them and they are not old and i want to exchange with something more comfortable but he said no! I asked to talk to a manger hopee to have more reasonable person but unfortunately SHE (don't pay attention to her name) but obviously she was in charge and the gentleman explained to her that i need to RETURN not EXCHANGE and directly recommended to her his opinion and she stared at it for a while then just agreed with him !! Worst treatment as a customer because what makes you so special than ALL OTHER RETAILERS not to accept something been worn (lets not forget i came back after 2-3 days of purchase and will upload pictures later for you to judge) !!!! Even worst, sent an e-mail to customer service yesterday and no respond !!! MY ADVISE: never buy shoes from this place, go to other place were they value customers and have better service and experience with dealing with customers. I went into this store today and I was shopping quite well but unfortunately there wasn't really much options for Jordan's or Nike running shoes for youth. As far as asking for help forget it there were employees that were unorganized rude and unprofessional. Thankfully one of the employees I believe her name is Kimberlie she had an outstanding customer service she deserves to get Promoted she has qualities as a supervisor or manager should she was so helpful and understanding she offered me free shipping and asked me if I wanted to sign up for the reward program and offered me sales of merchandise and socks . Worse wss I've ever been to the store management for today was so rude. I had a return and she gave me and my fiancé so much of an attitude. For a fairly new location, I would have expected better customer service especially from the management team.
