I got my son some nike he wear them the next day to go out, like no even a hour he started complaining that the shoes hurt his feet so I went the next day to ask for a exchange, I call in the phone always busy so I went to the store and they told me they don't take use shoes back even if they hurt you feet very bad custumer service and they don't have warranty for their shoes so I waste $65 for a pair of shoes that my son will never wear again so bad , even payless shoes has better warranty for the shoes .I don't recommend to buy shoes from wss read more

Employees just sit up at the front and talk. Tried to get their attention and they just looked at me like it wasn't their problem. I went up to them and they acted like it was a chore to assist me. I use to come here often because of the good deals they have on shoes, but will never return even if the shoes were to be free! My Family and I experienced a very disappointing experience as one employee confronted me and asked to search my wife's purse on the way out. My wife and I were very uncomfortable and quite upset. I asked the young man the reason why he felt the need to search us on the way out. He seemed embarrassed and stated that "it was store policy" and that the manager of the store was making the employees do random searches. We didn't blame the poor kid, but we were certainly very upset. I asked to speak to his manager and was no where to be found. The young man then went on explaining to us that they had an incident that morning of a family stealing shoes. So I assumed he felt the need to relate that incident to us? That evening I was with my wife and my two toddlers. Regardless, we felt very uncomfortable in the manner of how all this happened as we have never experienced this type of situation feeling so discriminated. We ended up purchasing a few pairs of shoes (I don't know why really) as we should of just left the store, but we did anyways. So in the end we were never searched on our way out! The security guard at the entrance stated with an embarrassed look on his face that "it won't be necessary." Anyways, hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else. As for us, we definetly will not be returning to this particular shoe store. read more

Everyone is really friendly and helpful can't complain always finding everything that I need

One thing I hate to do is shop for shoes. However, the ladies and gentlemen at WSS are so helpful and friendly that the experience is very pleasant. They checked on me and my children regularly without being irritating. They checked on shoe sizes not just at their store, but other stores so I didn't have to make the calls or run all over town. I like coming here when Ashley is working. Management she deserves a RAISE!!! She's always working hard and always helps you in any way possible. She's the ish!! LOL Some of the other workers are helpful. But most of them not so much. And I'm being nice!! They have a pretty good selection. Can't complain about that. They always send coupons that are actually worth using. And the rewards card pays off for $10 off when you purchase a certain amount. read more

I have never heard of the store being able to change the rule to how to use coupon The coupon clearly says 1 coupon per person and transaction I paid for my sons shoes while my daughter paid for her own and to make matters worse the manager herself was doing a transaction of a husband and wife and allowed them to use their coupon If it wasn't because the coupon expired today I would have done it another day Obviously this isn't an important job to her or she would put more importance to keeping a client happy read more

I was looking for a shoe store on a sunday afternoon and stumbled upon WSS in Montclair, CA. I called to see what time WSS closed and spoke to ASHLEY the manager. While on the phone with her she rudely told me WSS closes at 9pm. I proceeded to go to the store and got the worst service i have ever recieved. I found a shoe that was perfect and asked for my size. After waiting 15 minutes for an associate to bring me my size i was informed they had my size in stock but could not find the shoe. I looked for 20 more minutes and found nothing. A nice young man brought to my attention a new air force 1 shoe. I liked the shoes and went to the checkout. At the check out the manager ASHELY was rude and unprofessional. I have never encountered such horrible service in my entire life. I will NEVER be returning to WSS. I suggest in the future you learn how to interact with customers and leave your stank attitude at the door. Thanks for nothing! read more

I always buy my shoes here, well not anymore. I recently bought some shoes and wore them around the house for a couple hours. I realized there was a spot on the top front of the shoe. I tried to get it off but it wouldn't budge. I went to go return them with all the packaging AND the receipt, and they refused to return/exchange them. They said that I was the one who got the spot on there. They also didn't try to clean the spot off. Horrible customer service on their part. I'll never suggest that place to anyone. read more

I purchased Nike Shoes for my son on Sunday, Dec 10, 2017. Hours later my son took his shoes off and he's feet smelled horrible- and he was wearing new socks too. 2 days later, and he's feet and new shoes continue to smell horrible. Today (12/12/17), I decided to go back to WSS to get an exchange. I walk in the security's very nice she addresses my concern and advice's the Manager- Marisela, of the shoes problem. Marisela- informs me that my shoes have a defect and I need to contact Nike. my shoes are within exchange or refund policy. I initiated to record her with my phone and I adviced her; I wanted her to repeat herself because I was going to record her statement. She refuse to repeat herself- she walks away and calls her District manager- Ernesto Marana or Arana. Minutes later she comes back with and attitude, condescending tone of voice. She gives me an 800-276-2002 and Ernestos 310-869-6545, phone numbers. And Marisela said: " My District Manager said to for you to call corporate because theirs nothing we can do". So I asked Marisela; "Wheres Ernesto, now." Marisela said: "At home, asleep." and walked away. I called Ernesto at 8:01pm -CA time; no answer. So I wonder- who was she talking to!!!!? Marisela doesn't have management skills, needs customer service training, ethics training, professionalism, style and needs improvement, growth. WSS you need to put people in there adequate positions, provide further, extensive training. Great customer service would have been "your shoes has a defect, ill exchange them." or your not satisfied with the product- sure ill approve an exchange. ill return these shoes to Nike." Your stores do not have policies or signs that prohibits customers from recording. I have rights!!!! I know my rights. The statements on your receipts for exchanges or returns are ridiculous. I feel compel for all the minorities in the area because if they have a situation similar to mine- they are ass-out and there hard working money in the trash. The minorities in the surrounding area don't know how to write a review on the intranet nor speak English and they are taken advantage. Poor customer service. Please see the video's. Helped me save 10$ with yelp coupon awesome staff at WSS! I really needed new work shoes!

I've been to many WSS's and I've never had a complaint, today I went in to the Montclair location just looking for some casual shoes and seeing how that store is run, I wouldn't want to come back to this location. The entire management team was just in their own word, three people in blue shirts and one guy in a black shirt were all behind the registers just laughing and talking, I was in the store for about 45 minutes and not once was I asked if I needed help. When I got in line to pay, I was waiting for about 5 minutes and no one was even in front of me, just everyone behind the registers just said "i don't have a register" and they waited for someone to come. They called their cashier, but honestly out of 3 managers, none of them could charge ? That doesn't make sense and the fact that no one even tried talking, they all just stayed laughing with each other while I just waited there, I found the customer service to be very bad and rude, they could've at least greeted me or tried making conversation. read more
