I called and the store manager said that it's policy for the not to take any merchandise back that cannot be resold. It would have been helpful for them to let us know that the merchandise shouldn't be washed, or would ruin after fist wash. Worst $25 dollars u have ever spent. DON'T SHOP HERE. My husband was seeking for a comfortable and supportive pair of Hoka for work. My husband is a health care worker and his demanding job requires him to be on his feet for 8-16 hours on any given day (he often does double shifts and works two jobs). Maddie or Maddy (sorry if I am not spelling your name correctly) was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable on the different types of shoe brands and different types of supportive insoles. She started with a scan of my husband's feet and it shows that my husbands feet is very flat and that he needs a shoe with supportive arch. Maddie and her partner who is also very professional and helpful pulled out multiple pairs of shoes for my husband to try on. They let him tried multiples brands of insoles that were comfortable and supportive based on his feet scans with the different shoes. My husband ended up ordering a pair of Hoka from this store that will be shipped to our home with Currex dynamic insole to help support his arch. I tried on the Birkenstock Arizona sandal and felt in love with the support and comfort it offered. Being pregnant right now, it's been difficult to find a pair of sandal that is cute and comfortable especially with the semi-swollen feet. Joe, the owner was so kind to take the time to show my husband some feet exercise to help with his plantar fasciitis even after store hours. Overall, we highly recommend this store to everyone. After leaving my information, the call immediately disconnected anyway. For a business selling premium running shoes, the communication experience was honestly ridiculous and frustrating. If customers are ready to spend money and can't even reach a human being, that's a problem. Ended up deciding not to shop here at all because the customer service experience before even walking in the door was that bad.

This is the very first and only item I'm trying return from many purchases I've made on Dick's online store. The store manager told me they can't accept the return because the shoes are creased, dirty and it looks like I've used them outdoor a bunch of times, after I told him I used it twice indoor. Basically he called me a liar. They asked me why is it creased. I told them you can have a brand new pair and take 10 steps in them, they will crease due to the design. I even offered to demonstrate with a new pair, then he immediately said "we don't sell those shoes here." He mentioned that he's been selling shoes for 18 years and my return is the 5th time someone trying to do the same thing that day. They keep asking me why didn't I try the shoes inside my home? Well, they're basketball shoes so I had to try it at an indoor run. What am I gonna do, play basketball inside my house? They also asked why I ordered it if I know it's half a size bigger, so I told them that it's recommended to order half a size bigger for Nike sports shoes. Honestly I don't know why I spent so much time arguing with them when they can just tell me that it's against policy and that's the end of it. I could have just left to do the return online (which I did, smoothly.) At least now I know why it's called DICK'S Sporting Goods, because they hire mostly dicks to work at this location.
