I got an oil change on July 21 and the oil filter was not properly reattached causing a slow leak…read moreand air in the engine. This service cost me $52.98. The oil pressure light came on Friday Aug 1 after closing hours of the store. The next morning, Aug 2, I went to another Valvoline location and was charged $7.41 for a new filter and a top up. Later that day the original location (the one this review is being left for) called and asked me to come in again so they could look at the car themselves, they said my oil was still low and added more oil for no charge. Sunday the check engine light was still on so I brought it to Ford to be looked at. They charged $199.95 to run the diagnostic where they discovered the oil was overfilled. They then redid the whole oil change and charged $68.61. My car was in the shop for 2 days during which I had to take 4 Uber rides. One to get home from dropping the car off Sunday, to and from work on Monday, and to work on Tuesday. The total for the Valvoline services that were incorrect, the Ford cost to fix, and the Uber rides while my car was in the shop is $399.66. I spoke with customer support on the phone several times and they appeared helpful and told me how to submit my invoices to apply for reimbursement on Aug 5. This evening Aug 6 I received a call saying that I would NOT be getting any of my money back for their failed services, nor would they be paying for the repair work preformed by Ford, or the Uber rides I had to take to work during the two days I didn't have access to my vehicle due to their mistakes. They claim the reason for this is they looked at my oil and saw it was at the right level (the third time it was in their shop). They also used one of their machines to check my check engine code and said it wasn't anything to do with the oil. The check engine light just happen to come on 2 miles after the oil pressure light did, when the car is experiencing no other problems, and hasn't for months. And the fact that when Ford did a full oil change the check engine light went off. Despite the manager of this location and a customer representative being on the phone today with me they both denied that the company would reimburse me for anything (not even the original oil change that they did wrong that started all of this) and they were unable to transfer me on the line to someone who would help. Or provide me with their contact information. I have been told that a email will be sent to the area supervisor and they will reach out to me "soon". I look forward to updating this when I hear from them.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE - THEY DO NOT CHECK FLUIDS! I looked at the website before hand and…read moredecided to come into Costa for the first time (website says how they are so ethics, most educated customer will choose them, and a bunch of other BS). I was initially intrigued as you stay inside your vehicle and the guy does everything right there in front of you. I thought "Oh wow, this way you can see him checking everything" and I paid close attention to the tech doing the car next to mine. However my initial optimism quickly turned sour, as I was horrified to see the other tech did not check ANY fluids, let alone belts and hoses. I thought "Oh No, please tell me mine isn't about to do the same" - so now I was paying extra close attention. My own tech filled the washer fluid, oil, and "seemed" to check the tire air pressure - but that IS IT! Sure enough, he did not inspect belts or hoses or check any other fluids, which I already knew I had at least one low which is why I came in. He did not even open the air filter box to check the air filter! So he closes the hood, comes over and says "All Done." to which I said "What about my fluids?" And this guy had the audacity to say "I checked them all, you're good!" I said sarcastically "You checked them all!?" And he said "Pop the hood and have a look!" I'll give him this, he had some serious balls to tell a bold faced lie just like that! Well, I guess this jerkoff wasn't expecting me to call his bluff because that's exactly what I did! I popped the hood and got out of my car, and he just stood there dumbfounded. So I lifted the hood myself, put up the bar, and waited for him to say something else stupid. After a brief awkward-for-him silence I realized, okay so I guess I have to take the lead here, fine. So I said "There's barely any coolant in that reservoir dude (as I open the cap), look at it!" And this guy, this f*ing guy, says "Well we charge extra to add coolant." So I just stood there saying nothing, until he finally says "Sooo...you want me to add coolant? Because it's four dollars." YES, YES, I WOULD PRETTY PLEASE LIKE TO HAVE COOLANT IN MY ENGINE! Then I said, "So what about power steering - look at it, its below the minimum line?" and he says "We don't carry power steering." Okay, well APPARENTLY you don't CHECK power steering fluid either! I watched him the whole time, he didn't check a damn thing and neither did his partner! So it's clearly not an isolated incident, that's how they do every customer every time. The worst part is, there was a giant sign right next to him saying all the things they allegedy check. I drove off in a rage and later sent a text message to the owner/manager but received no response.
