I live in Lancaster City, so this is my closest Jiffy Lube. I headed over here for a very overdue oil change right before heading out of town for a long holiday weekend. There were only a few customers waiting, but the wait was slow as molasses. I don't know what kind of services were being done (maybe they were more complex), but my son and I must hand waited for an hour and a half before our car was even serviced. Thankfully, the staff was super nice, friendly, honest, and didn't try to force unnecessary or unwanted services (I did also get my air filter replaced), which is something I've experienced at other locations. For that reason, I give this location 4/5 stars. But I deducted a star for the wait, as it's the longest I've ever had at a Jiffy Lube, which is known for being quick! read more

I had oil leaking and I'm from out of town they took me right in and looked it all over found nothing wrong I didn't not fill good about the oil filter so asked them to change it and they to put me at ease I just had the oil change at home before we came here. I brought my Dodge journey in for an inspection, two weeks ago and a Noyle change. When I got the car back, there were greasy handprints all over the light gray window post where they put the inspection sticker and greasy, fingerprints all over the windshield on the inside. I didn't say anything about it at the time because I'm not the type to complain. I tried to clean it, but the grease would not come off the window post. Two days later, I took my Fiat, spider lusso, and for the same thing. I waited for this time and my car is white and when I went to get in my car, there was grease all over the drivers door, the fender and the rear quarter. I asked him to clean it and was definitely upset. I didn't bother looking at the rest of the car but when I got home, I took the time and saw grease all over the car on both sides, the trunk and the hood. I called the owner of the store the next day which was this past Monday and they said they would get back to me within 24 hours. No one ever bothered to pick up the phone and no one obviously cares. This place is garbage when they deal with issues that they create. I would not go there, even though I've gone there for the past 15 years I would never go there again. read more

Willow Street Jiffy Lube, went many times until 2 years or so ago when they told me I needed to replace my antifreeze and drain radiator. I had 60,000 miles at the time. Showed me the thermometer too. Was very expensive and I didn't have the time so I said no. Took car to my Toyota dealer for something else and they said it's on the Jiffy Lube computer system that Toyota's have anti freeze that lasts 100,000 miles plus and my antifreeze was fine. Thought I'd try them again a month ago for oil change. They said I needed new spark plugs and a head gasket for approx. $350. I said no. Had my car inspected by my trusted repair station (Groffs in W. Street) and he said no plugs were needed, and I DID NOT NEED A HEAD GASKET ! Charged me $62. or inspection and emissions. These guys are horrible and just want to cheat you !!! I have the receipt from JLube to prove what I say !!! read more

It is nice to see that customer service isn't completely a lost art post-Covid. The employees at this location have restored my faith a bit in the younger generation being able to be cordial, efficient and even polite and friendly. It is of course expected that they offer additional services but they are not pushy when you decline which I greatly appreciate. Arrived at location around 11:20 AM, while in line a service tech let us know it would be an hour to an hour and 20 minutes for service. We agreed to wait. The oil change and tire rotation price verbally quoted after collecting our information was to be $92 and change. We agreed. In total we were onsite for 3 hours. When the work was nearly completed we were told it would be $148.38. Well over the verbal quote and twice as long to complete the work. When asked why it was so much more the rep said we selected the expensive oil when prices were not shared with us. Asked for some level of compromise and was offered a whole $10 off. I declined and asked for something closer to the quoted price and was denied. Poor service. THEN, the tech went to pull the car from the bay and the lift piece was still in place form the tire rotation and damaged the car, dented the underside and they did not seem to care. I expressed my dissatisfaction and they stood there with blank looks. Honoring the price and acknowledging the damage would have been the right thing to do. Customer loyalty is priceless but the team at this location was more worried about a couple of extra bucks. Never again will I take a single vehicle of mine to a jiffy lube, especially this location. Very friendly and knowledgeable guys working here. They don't pressure you into getting extra stuff if you don't want it, they do give you recommendations. They hold open doors for you which is awkward since I'm not used to that. They honor e-coupons you can snag online at last minute to lower your oil change fee. read more

If you value your vehicle do not go to the Jiffy Lube on Willow Street in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. On June 6 I went in for an oil change. My car had just come from the garage and the garage had missed doing that. No big deal. Jiffy Lube changed my oil and got me out in a timely fashion. On June 26 I realized I had not checked my oil or my coolant in quite some time so I went to pop my hood and it wouldn't open. I called and they said to just bring it in. I did so on the 28th because a prior appointment on the 27th. After all was said and done they said that the cable had stretched and it was just something that happens and they broke my hood in a different way so that I could open and close it. Irritating and more than upsetting and more than enough to keep me from ever wanting to go back there again. On July 1 I go out to my car and I find a chrome piece from the hood lying on the ground and see that they had secured it to my hood with green painters tape. Their response was to say that it was already broken and after demanding the district manager's phone number they gave me a business card with the phone number of a different Jiffy Lube. I just wanted my car back to the way it was before I took it into them. I eventually got a callback today from the district manager who's name is Sam Rosa. He said they would replace the plastic piece and fix the hood cable. The pieces were being ordered and I will be contacted when they arrive. They would be installed either by Mr. Rosa or by his chief mechanic which I hope is not the guy who buggered up my car to begin with. I admit on Monday when I went back I was far from calm but on Friday I had gone in to have one thing fixed and not only was it broken in a different way in order to for the hood to still work but that Monday I had found a new piece of damage so cut me some slack. Mr. Rosa alluded to next time if the police have to be called which felt more like a threat than an apology for the inconveniences his poorly run store was causing. While he said it would be fixed I came away from the whole experience feeling as if Mr. Rosa was blaming me for the damage and the poor customer service. I would've been OK if they had told me first they needed to do to do what they did in order to get the hood to work but they didn't tell me that. They just did it. I would've been OK if the store manager had told me about the issues with the plastic piece rather than have said nothing and then tried to secure it in place with tape donuts made from a painters tape. I have had in the past issues with garages trying to rip me off and truth be told it was locked as if that it happened again. I then received a call from the owner of that particular Jiffy Lube. They are not going to replace the cable and the plastic piece. Instead they're sending me a check for the cost of the cable and plastic piece and I have to have it fixed somewhere else. They went from having terrible customer service to being infested with jerks. The way that Jiffy Lube operates is clearly a reflection of the franchise owner. It's just been a bad experience all around and I still cannot recommend returning to that particular Jiffy Lube in Willow Street in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. read more

I went to jiffy lube for inspection. Big mistake! They passed emissions but wouldn't complete insp. They said I needed brakes, calibers an rotors in front. Said it would cost around 850.00. Didn't have that kind of cash. So I left there paying for full inspection and new wipers blades which I didn't ask for. Paying them 106.00. Had to let my vehicle sit 3 weeks. Which by the way I'm a self employed painter. Got enough money together to buy the parts I needed. Took it to a garage and all it needed was brake pads. Garage bill was 182.00 with brakes and inspection. Where do they find their mechanics. And 850.00!!!!.... I am so pissed. This place is a joke,they are very disrespectful to start my friend and I go late in the day waited an hour we were next in line and low and behold some heavy set lady comes in and tells the manager to pull our car out and puts her friends car in, some guy with a bald spot and cheap white Ford in our place mind you it's over 90 degrees outside and quite warm on the waiting area.This lady was so rude (must be an owner) but she has no business running the show there, definitely not of Christian values.We walked out and left old bald spot and and his cheap Ford there I will never go back and hope no one else does either .Sign me off as a disgusted , disabled , war veteran.Just didn't know this town had these kind of people!!! Staff was friendly but sold me a very expensive part after I checked at home. If you only go for an oil change they will check on anything in your car and will sell you a part that look like it needed replacement. Its up to you if you take the bait and unfortunately I did.
