I've done two kitchen remodels in the last 3 years. One with a high end remodeling contractor of a large kitchen and one with Wren. Both resulted in kitchens I was very happy with. When going in to a kitchen remodel you have to keep in mind that it is probably the most disruptive renovation you can do to a house. The process is painful even when it goes smoothly. Delayes are inevitable and happened in both my projects. I liked working with the Wren designer and software. I spent 2 sessions but could have spent more. There are so many decisions with long lasting consequences it can be overwhelming. But the visualization was super helpful. And we could walk around the show room to see exactly what it looked like. I really liked this part. The cabinet installation was also well done. The installers completed all their work in two days with only a few punchlist items left over which they fixed a few weeks later. There were some non standard items that they handled well. They cut a non-standard corner on my butcher block counter top (which I love and recommend for at least part of your counter) I drew the line and they made the cut. But I'm the kind of person who is knowledgeable about construction and making permanent decisions. Which brings me to my biggest caveat with Wren. You are not buying a complete installed kitchen. You will need to hire and coordinate a plumber, electrician, carpenter and demo your old kitchen. If that is not something you are comfortable doing then you might be better off with a remodel contractor who can handle the whole job. There is no easy solution to a new kitchen. But even contractor projects can go sideways with delays and mistakes. Wren customer service could be better, but I could tell they were trying. And some things fall through the cracks. Without a contractor you are left to deal with some problems on your own. For what they offer I think Wren has a great product. It's been several months and I'm very happy. If anything they are guilty of over selling what they offer. It's not a painless process as they might make it seem. But if you go in with the right attitude and know you ability, you can get a great well designed from Wren. We have had our kitchen cabinets for 2 years now. The install was a nightmare and the cabinets are not well made. Within the first 6 months one of the shelves in our large cabinet developed a bend in the middle. We have two large quiet close drawers or whatever they're called. One developed an annoying squeak/grinding noise and now doesn't close all the way anymore. The other drawer has developed the squeak and I expect it to stop working soon WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

NEVER AGAIN. Think you're ordering a white kitchen? Think again! All of the white cabinets have a grey border that's meant to act as a "shadow." Well rather than acting as a "shadow," it looks absolutely crazy. Picture an old ratty car that has one door different than the other. This grey edging creates distinct grey lines throughout the cabinets and is very clearly visible when any door/drawer is opened. Needless to say, my order was refused upon delivery. I would never spend $10k on a kitchen I was unhappy with. The customer service as Wren is nothing to brag about either. They're friendly and accommodating until the moment you put your deposit down. Once they lock you in, all bedside manner goes out the window. It is constant back and forth with changes, delays with a "compliance team", MULTIPLE measurements taken because they were wrong the first time. Then trying to talk to a decent human being about this grey edging as been a nightmare. The absolute worst experience of our life. Started the process in May 2025 at the Wren Satellite Store in Home Depot Waterbury, CT. The project was finally completed in December 2025. Project manager was unavailable 99% of the time we had questions or needed to facilitate on site work. We learned MONTHS later he had a legitimate reason, but the job of their supervisor is to make sure there is someone to step in as the show must go on. We really felt we were not a priority after call after call and email after email went unanswered. We prequalified for interest free financing and filed all our paperwork the first few weeks of the project which were later lost in the shuffle. I am assuming this was due to the issues with the project manager. We had to refile and apply a second time later on delaying the process again. These issues lead to delays in someone from WREN coming over for layouts/measurements, which in turn led to delays for our contractor being able to work at the house. Cabinet/Install issues. They completely butchered the island that my wife had picked out. They had drawers designed for a side of the island ( living room side ) on top of some cabinet doors. The best part about this is that when the granite was installed, the granite overhang completely covered the drawers making them unusable. Great design team they have. They had to pull the entire face off that side of the island and correct it. Upon trying to correct it, the doors were incorrect and had to be replaced THREE times because all subsequent reorders were the wrong style. The other side of the island ( sink side ) had incorrect cabinet doors as well, and on the reorder they sent us doors that were not wide enough. There was a four inch gap where they should meet and the installer left it like this and told us to call WREN. The issue was rectified on the second reorder. We also had several other doors and pieces of cabinet trim replaced due to dents, damage and some black grease they did not even bother to clean off. All these reorders are dropped off by WREN delivery teams, and a separate install date is scheduled. This led us to have three separate shipments of cabinet doors, cabinet hardware, trim and boxes being left at our house in the living space. We understood the original left over boxes we were responsible for but we had a dumpster at that time for the remodel. The subsequent deliveries should have been taken after it was realized they were incorrect. We had to rent another dumpster due to their malfeasance. With all these issues we did not have running water in the kitchen from June-November. The granite contractor also cancelled the day of a measurement after I had taken the day off from work. When their own employees and subcontractors bash the incompetence level at WREN it should be a tell tale sign to stay clear. We dealt with their resolution team for some sort of rebate/refund and it was insulting. It was not even about the monetary offer, it was their disclaimer line stating that it was not an admission of fault or guilt. If it is not their fault, then whose is it? It's pretty sad considering we actually like the cabinets and feel it is a good product. This experience led to embarrassment and extreme stress on the wife and I. We are very reasonable people and understand mistakes happen, but it was one after another with little guidance or sense of urgency on their part. I was so interested in Wren for the longest time, but after sitting down and hearing about a nearly $30k kitchen that's been discounted, to about $10k, but even if we do the Wren installation for an extra fee, that our sink's plumbing and any electrical could not be done without another extra fee, was a total turn off to Wren. We had a contractor to help us with our "unexpected costs," apparently was left in the notes in the profile after a new salesperson reached out to me. But it was not unexpected, as we had our own contractor to do the work before Wren "installed" the kitchen. We really anticipated "Wren Kitchen" could install a simple sink properly (with plumbing) or in this case, a grandiose sink $$$. Unless the installation policies have changed, we will not be seeking Wren now nor in the future. The total turn off for us was when the manager and him both told us that we'd have to hire a contractor or pay them extra money to install a sink fitted to the existing plumbing, that just doesn't make sense to me as Wren is a kitchen installer and every kitchen has a sink.... Also we were told we'd have to pay an extra fee to hire a contractor from Wren to plug in the stove and fridge into the existing power outlets and plumbing. How can a company install a kitchen "apparently," but not plug in a range and fridge? Don't even get me started on the sink, what kitchen doesn't have a sink? When we bought our kitchen, we looked around our local showroom, and effectively picked one off the shelf - exactly as it appeared. We were never offered the VR experience they advertised despite asking on more than one occasion. 3 weeks before our delivery, we happened to notice something on our plans that didn't make sense. Turns out Wren had measured the kitchen incorrectly - lucky we noticed but it meant we had to have a rushed last minute redesign. Come delivery, the wrong worktops arrived. The designer had ordered the wrong ones, and after a lot of back and forth, Wren have refused any responsibility, stating at different points it was our fitters fault, it was our fault - anyone but theirs. I even provided photos of the display we had referenced in the design and again, have refused to budge - stating that there was no evidence we ordered those worktops because the designer had ordered the wrong ones from the start. The design process was poor, stressful and we've still ended up stuck with something we didn't ask for. After spending nearly £11k I thought we'd at least get some acknowledgment that they have made a mistake - but nothing. Only a quote to buy more worktops from them. Unless you are prepared to go through every item with a fine tooth comb, or pay someone in the trade to go over it - I would not recommend. This was the most horrible customer experience I have encountered. We went to the Warwick, RI location. I am contacting the Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, Cosumer Protection Office, and have filed a complaint with my credit card company. My credit card was charged twice for a deposit. There is no stability within this branch and the turnover is outrageous. As such, after weeks of getting a total run around with incorrect selections, unapplied appliance rebates, and not being able to even price out the dimensions for my peninsula, I cancelled my order and was assured a refund by the manager (who also is no longer there). A second manager was assigned to this suffering location, acknowledged the service delivery failures, and shared she had escalated the refund and we would receive it within the next few days. It's been weeks. We are out thousands of dollars. I am leaving reviews on all social media to not do business with Wren Kitchens at this location. I found Wren Kitchens through google research - Best choice I could have made! Our rep Mike was so helpful and patient with helping design, and sending proofs. He spent time with us to get a feel for what cabinets I liked and even setting up a virtual reality tour at the showroom! We got cabinets, the sink, hood, drawer pulls, countertops, and installation - ALL within our budget (my favorite are the drawer organizers). All the installers were very professional and quick finishing ahead of the scheduled time. One part of the countertop was cut too short, but was reordered and installed quickly. They have different levels of cabinets to choose from, but the quality you get is well worth it! read more

Let me tell you about my Wren experience. I had my cabinets installed in 2020. The doors were hung crooked and the finish on them did not match. I had two different color whites and two different finishes. I tried to get them fixed, and then Covid hit. so nothing was done with my cabinets. I was told to send pictures, which I did, and they claimed numerous times the pictures were never received. I finally, FINALLY, got through to someone who listened and arranged for an installer to come out and check my cabinets. Well, they offered to send out new cabinet fronts, but I had to install them myself. I am disabled, living on disability, and cannot afford an installer. I argued with them and it was like I was talking to a recording. Wren customer support is the worst. They are rude and don't even try to make things right. Did I cause covid? No. was it my fault the world shut down for 3 years? No. Did I misplace the photos I sent to them numerous times? No. I just don't know what to do now. Do NOT use this company! I spent $35,000 on a kitchen and it was a complete disaster. The design and sales customer service were what sold us on going for Wren as they seemed really good and professional from the Milford, CT branch. Once the sale was made and the contract was signed it quickly turned ugly. The delivery had items missing and the wrong components but on the bright side, they were on time for delivery, just with some wrong items. Installers- Day 1- No-one turned up. I called and the next day they sent our one very inexperienced young man who was only installing kitchens a year I found out after the fact. His work was nothing short of disgraceful and he rushed through it in 2.5 days. He destroyed my house by cutting pieces inside the house and his finishing left gaps, holes & scratches all over the cabinets. I called Wren to tell them, but they kept pushing me to the contracting services THEY provided. The sales guy was nowhere to be found and when I went to the shop as he recommended them as part of the Wren service, he said to work with customer service. After sending out their 'expert' measuring person AND 'reviewing ' the plans they sent a kitchen that: I cannot open the garage door because the cabinets are too long for the space, the sink is not centered under the window, the oven frames are too small for the ovens, among other things I cry when I list. Worst client service ever. The installers do not have any idea how to install- the first crew just hung damaged items. The second crew did not know how to install the wall cabinet with the wall oven. **BUYER BEWARE** I recently purchased cabinets from wren kitchens and we had an AWFUL experience!! Our designer was completely incompetent. His measurements were off by around 2 inches. Long story short he ended up selling me about 750$ in unnecessary materials and after it was all said and done the manager recognized their short comings but couldn't return any of the unused materials. Basically there is a zero return policy whether they were right or wrong. Please read the fine print before any purchases are made. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! BUYER BEWARE! We have had nothing but negative experiences with this company since delivery. During the buying process you are bullied into putting a deposit down same day to "lock in the price" and once they have your money the experience goes downhill. Our designer (Joseph, Newington) was not at all equipped to be completing anyone's kitchen remodel. The company sends a team member to measure your kitchen themselves and even with the measurements our designer constantly had to refer to our measurements or request us to measure certain dimensions. He made multiple flaws during the design process, most of which we (the buyers) caught and fix prior to the final order. That being said, he sold us materials that would have made our whole kitchen not line up. When brought to customer service and the store managers attention, no one wants to take ownership for the "mistake." The store manager repeatedly said it was a learning curve and unique situation but ultimately the customer gets to pay the price of their lack of knowledge. The store manager sends us right back to customer service and all they do is refer back to the very unfriendly buyer contract and shift all blame on the buyer. And trying to talk to any kind of management within customer service is unheard of because they train there staff to repeat the same unapologetic lines and dodge responsibility. I cannot express just how much I do not recommend this company to anyone in the future. They should be ashamed of their ethics. Total waste of time. I am painting our existing cabinets and want to replace two cabinets. One is an old trash compactor that we want to replace with a pull out 2 bin trash can cabinet. I visited the Cherry Hill, NJ store. When I walked in, they asked me if I had an appointment, and I said no.. and got a blank stare... I asked if that was ok, and they said looked at each other and said,, ok.. I informed them that I needed two cabinets, and mentioned the sizes.. 18" x 34 1/2 high trash and 15 x 34 1/2 4 drawer utensil cabinet.. These are pretty basic cabinets. They immediately said, OH only two, then you have to pay full price, no discount with less than 5. I said, yes,, i need 2 cabinets and again asked for a price. I was directed to another person who walked me through the store to show me the cabinets, then turned me over to a 4th person. Here I was told, OH, you are painting them ? Then there is no warranty. REALLY ??? So I asked them to give me a price, which i was asked to fill out a half page of info before they would give me a price.. needless to say, I LEFT !!!! read more

I read some reviews that said in all caps DO NOT BUY WREN!! They pleaded with people, their stuff is complete garbage it said, their customer service is the worst they said, don't be wooed by their flashy showroom they said.... I was close to listening, but sadly I didn't. I write this to save another from my mistake. Please listen to me. The cabinets arrived covered in scratches, stains ,chips, glue everywhere, uneven doors, cracks and actual holes. I asked for a refund, as I was done with a company who can deliver 12 cabinets all with multiple issues. They said they have NEVER given a refund, I basically signed away that option somewhere buried deep in their contract. All they will do is keep replacing their shitty cabinets until you get so tired of it you stop trying. Any good review you read is phony. If one person reads this and decides to pass on Wren, I will be so happy for you!!! Seriously guys its garbage, dont let the showroom fool you!!!!!!!! The kitchen cabinets and counter are amazingly beautiful. The installers and their service were great. Working with the designer was a dream. She handled everything like a real pro! I had a couple of issues that required me to contact Wren Customer Care and that's what cost them 2 stars (it would've cost them 3 but the installers, cabinets, and designer were so damn awesome)! I'd say their pricing is comparable to other kitchen cabinet/counter designers, but the pricing and the turnaround time for delivery outshined many of their competitors. I'd recommend using them, but will also warn you to pay very close attention to the how things are going throughout the entire process as customer care is very dismissive and slow to action! read more

Buyer beware. Cabinets arent the traditional cabinet. They are standard white boxes with attached panels that give the cabinet the color and style. All require assembly. They also have plastic legs with decorative panels that attach to cover the legs. Worst customer service I've ever come across. Unless its an "emergency" all contact is thru email. It can take 5-10+ days for responses. I have left over materials, including a base cabinet, due to incorrect measurements and poor planning. This is day 28 of trying to have materials returned and credited. I plan on looking into filing suit in small claims court. read more

I am at the tail end of our kitchen renovation and wow I feel like I've lost 15 years off my life. The only thing that was enjoyable from this entire experience was going into their showroom to pick out my kitchen. Absolutely every step every that has been a NIGHTMARE. My designer was Darien and after we paid and left the day of the designing he did not see anything through and we did not ever hear from him after. We had to use our own installer (that wren recommended, who was also horrible, our own plumber, our own electrician) all extra costs separate of the materials. Our fridge and oven we were told were back ordered the day of delivery of everything else. The following day they called to say it we in stock and they would deliver it one week later. Wren comes the day of the delivery to just drop them off and leave them outside!!! They stated they couldn't bring them inside. After spending hours on the phone with my contact at wren i finally got escalated to Angel who tried to do his best but could not do much for us. Finally, they sent someone the next day to bring the fridge and oven ... they couldn't get it through the door!!! LOL. They come out to measure the house TWICE but they didn't measure the door area to make sure all the appliance can get in? They asked me to sign a waiver in order to take the door frame down or I'd have to wait "weeks" for a fridge and oven again. They completely destroyed our newly painted door frame, as in we need new walls AND door frame surrounding it, all out of pocket expenses we will have to pay for. Now we're waiting for the countertop, which I'm sure they will trouble with that too. They already told us one date and changed it to a later date. Should be fun. I will never NEVER NEVER use Wren in my life ever again and could not recommend ANY other company enough. Her attitude towards the customers is despicable. our deliveries were all wrong, not just once but three times they delivered the wrong cabinets and counter tops.
