I recently had my kitchen cabinets refaced in May 2024: 35 drawers, cabinet doors, slides... as well as all new hardware. They even refaced the breakfast bar and it looks wonderful. I love that the doors are real wood, not the cheap thermofoil big box store cabinet doors, I had for years. Every person on the project from start to finish was very professional, friendly, and prompt to follow up with answers to all my questions. The installers were meticulous, and gave great attention to detail. The entire installation took only 4 days. They were very respectful of our property, and left no mess. I waited years to redo my cabinets, and this was an affordable option! My kitchen looks brand new, the quality is great, and I get so many compliments from family and friends! Thank you!

Chipped paint.

We had Bob, sales rep coming out and selling us on their product . He said their quality is the best. 22 k later, kitchen is falling apart and it hasn't been even 2 months . Cheap MDF and cheap paint for materials, not sanded edges and ends that are not even cut straight. Paint is already chipping off. They painted over HAIR and uneven damaged MDF. See for yourself. If this is what you get for 22k, you may as well keep your old kitchen and don't waste your money. Owner Wayne, when I called him about the issue said we don't know how to use a kitchen and that it is our fault. He said that hat they are doing amazing job, do they though?

How could one project go so well and the second project end in disappointment?…read moreThe first hardwood floor installation in June 2025 was professional, no dust and job clean up was thorough, it was flawless. It went so well I decided to do another room. Two different workers came this time, July 2025 & asked where my 220 plug was. The worker plugged his wires into my dryer machine plug. I questioned why there was no plug on his machine only wires coming out & he said "it's ok" when they began to sand my new smoke detectors were blaring & I come upstairs to one worker standing in my living room, far from the room they were working on with a mask on in a cloud of dust saying "sorry, something wrong with the machine" and my smoke detectors were put into a bathroom. As a professional they should have prevented the dust from circulating throughout my house and if the equipment was faulty it should not have been used. As soon as the dust was circulating throughout the house the equipment should've been turned off until a working replacement was available. Apparently the sander had no vacuum bag attached, in the high humidity the dust settled & adhered to everything inside the house. The fact that the smoke detectors were blaring was additional proof that the workers created a hazardous environment in my house and judging by the layer of dust on my fan blades I used to clear the air my new smoke detectors are probably compromised. Also the baseboard heater was left dangling from the wall & I had to fix the holes from them ripping it off the wall to reattach properly myself. Also worth noting, I have found 2 live cockroaches so far in the rooms that were done. I'm not sure if they were brought in with their equipment or what, but I have never seen previously in my home. I felt my concerns expressed to Brian were not taken seriously and the only apology I received for the second job nightmare was from 2 of his employees and none from the owner of the business. If this happened on the first job, they would never have been hired for the second Job. I have other projects I'm looking forward to do, but will look elsewhere. I would give the first job 4/5 stars, but zero for the second.

I happened to be driving in Plainville when I spotted there was store on East Street. I went into there showroom, and was already right off the bat impressed. I explained I wasn't looking into replacing the floor, that I had oak, with no pet stains, and wanted them to refinish it. The owner, Brian Harding, came in within just a few days, and gave me a great estimate! He was very professional, honest, and right on point about a few nicks that were already on my floors. It was done in a fashionable time. His workers that came in were very polite as well. I would highly recommend Connecticut Flooring for any of your upcoming flooring jobs. I am defiantly hiring him again for my tile work that needs to be done in both my bathrooms, as well the next floor I want done for refinishing.

"There was long ones, tall ones, short ones, brown ones…read moreBlack ones, round ones, big ones, crazy ones" (Spill the Wine - by Eric Burdon and War) They sure do have room for all of those cabinets, I mean after all, their showroom is a cavernous 9,000 square feet big. They have over 125 samples of kitchen and bath vanities on display, and that's pretty darned impressive. We are remodeling our bathrooms and placed orders to replace the vanities in the first two. Each bathroom followed the same process -first we met with a designer and gave them an idea of what we were looking for- size, style, finish, hardware, etc. Then they gave us a few pricing options before we returned a second time to place our order. The cabinets aren't in stock, they get delivered to their warehouse in Waterbury, and that takes a few weeks. Once they are in, you can either pick them up at the warehouse or get them at the Southington store if you want to. If your vehicle isn't big enough, they can deliver for a charge. We were able to fit the vanity and counter box into our vehicle, but the warehouse guy opened up both boxes first so we could carefully examine everything before we drove away. For our first purchase, we worked with Tom who was so helpful and knowledgeable. He made the transaction quite pleasant. We picked up our vanity and countertop today (they look great) and will have them installed by our plumber in a few days. We paid around $450 for a gorgeous vanity and countertop in colors and styles that perfectly complement our newly renovated bathroom and move it from the 1970's into the 21st century. Could we have gone cheaper at a different store? Probably. But could we have received the same wide spectrum of products, level of amazing customer service, undivided attention, and expert advice and guidance that Tom gave us? No way. Vanity #2 has been ordered and we will order #3 down the road.
