In April 2026, Wren Kitchens abruptly shut down all US operations and filed for bankruptcy - without filing a WARN notice, without notifying employees, and without informing the thousands of customers who trusted them with their homes. Many customers paid large deposits, had their kitchens gutted, and are now classified as unsecured debt. They will likely receive nothing. People are out $10k-$20k+ with destroyed kitchens and no recourse. This is unforgivable. My kitchen was completed, but even I wasn't spared - my "lifetime warranty" is now worthless. And compared to the people left with half‑demolished homes, my loss is minor. This is a pathetic, disgraceful way to end operations: shutting down overnight, running away from obligations, and leaving customers and employees to suffer massive consequences. Even Spirit Airlines - a company famous for its issues - treated me with more integrity. When they wronged me, they refunded me. Wren did not. The CEO keeps the money while customers lose everything. I had a kitchen installed and there are some major problems with the baseboard moving and not staying in place I contacted the store in Selden but the manager of customer service told be to call the main office which I did 6 times but never got a call back to me. The baseboard of the cabinets is constantly moving began cabinets are opened or you walk by and your foot touches it. This should not happen it is inferior installation. When I have sought to have this issue resolved they are negligent. My kitchen cyst over 65.000,00 dollars. Now I see they have filed bankruptcy and maybe that is why the customer service never replied. There's no argument that kitchen renovations are an expensive and disruptive hassle with more than a few self-proclaimed "design consultants" ready to turn your head (and wallet) inside out. So on one level I applaud Wren for attempting to streamline and turn-key the process. On another level I would be remiss if I didn't characterize the basic Wren approach as IKEA without the meatballs. The quality of most inventory is decent but not mind-blowing tethered to pricing that is commensurate with the baseline quality offered. Would I pull the trigger on a project with Wren? Sure, if I was preparing a home for sale with no thought to how the thing might wear in ten years but probably not if I had to live with it day-to-day. Let me start by saying that I normally don't write reviews unless I have an exceptionally good experience or a bad experience. I have literally only written one other review (as of when I'm typing this), and that was a 5-star review. In this case, my experience with Wren was EXCEPTIONALLY BAD. Before I get into the bad and ugly, I will say that the delivery process went well, with the timeframes for delivery met as expected. The appointment for templating, delivery, and installation of the quartz countertop with the outsourced affiliate also went well. The main pain point in our experience was with our designer and measurements. ========== Our designer and the measurements taken for our kitchen were completely off to the point where there were multiple mistakes and things that our contractor had to do to make our cabinets fit into place. For you, the reader, to digest this, here are the mistakes (numbered below): 1. *Cooktop Didn't Fit*: We purchased a cooktop for our kitchen and PROVIDED THE MODEL NUMBER TO OUR DESIGNER. Even with the model number, which should give the designer the proper dimensions to ensure the right sizing, the cutout for the cooktop was not correctly precut, and our contractors had to do additional cuts on the cabinet to make it fit. We had to cut into a filler piece next to that cabinet to make this happen, so not ideal. 2. *Refrigerator Didn't Fit*: We intended to install a counter-depth refrigerator that would fit in place along the run of cabinets. It was a 33" width counter-depth refrigerator. We just tried to place our newly purchased refrigerator, once again, which WE PROVIDED THE MODEL NUMBER TO OUR DESIGNER, and it doesn't fit. In addition, the filler molding that was supposed to go above the refrigerator doesn't fit in place. We now have to go through the process of returning/exchanging for a smaller refrigerator. 3. *Cabinet Will Inevitably Get Damaged by Design & Wrong Height*: We had a corner sink cabinet as part of our order. The way it was designed, that corner cabinet will always bang into/damage the floor cabinet to the right of it. In addition, when we received that corner cabinet, the legs on it were too tall relative to the rest of the floor cabinets. We ended up going to this showroom, and our designer provided us legs which were STILL THE WRONG SIZE. Our contractor just cut the taller ones down to make it fit. Otherwise, we would've had to wait 7-10 business days for the proper-sized legs to be delivered. 4. *Incorrect Installation Instructions*: This one was actually resolved by one minor fix, but there was a piece in one of the wall cabinets that was the color of the cabinet banding on the outside (it was exposed/revealed), when it shouldn't have been. Luckily, and this is the one thing I'll credit Wren with, when calling their Customer Care, they were able to resolve that by advising us what to swap. There may be more errors in either design or measurement that we haven't found yet. However, the fact that there are AT LEAST 4 ERRORS in something where every 1/16th of an inch needs to be properly measured and accounted for, this is absolutely unacceptable. We will advise anyone and everyone to take their kitchen renovation/remodeling needs elsewhere. read more

I am so disgusted with this company. They sold us tower cabinets and upper cabinets with crown molding based on an erroneous floor to ceiling measurement that THEY took with their idiotic laser measurement tool. They measured our ceiling height, as we found out with customer service, at 104" when it is actually around 96, rendering the cabinets useless. Not only that, the blueprints they sent us before construction started DID NOT indicate ceiling height, If the contractor would have known this before cabinets were delivered we could have remedied this. Our contractor actually advised us to have Wren measure a second time before the cabinets were delivered and they REFUSED. Their solution? Send them a photo of my 71-year-old husband measuring the wall to prove we weren't hallucinating. So now we have a house packed with useless cabinets and their warehouse is closed for the next 2 weeks. So glad they're enjoying their holidays because they ruined mine. They can't replace the cabinets for close to 4 weeks. Do yourselves a favor - shop around. This company is not reputable. I wish I'd read these reviews before I got involved with them. read more

I've had a TERRIBLE experience with wren kitchens , the kitchen was delivered a month later than the agreed upon one- two weeks . The Kitchen finally arrives and the counter top doesn't make it up the stairs so they tell us to cut it ourselves; to which I stated they need to fix it. (They took it and cut it) The counter top arrives back and it's cut too short and now we can't use it, I also received 2 broken cabinets to which they said we can offer me to re-buy the cabinets and the countertops at a 50% discount because it's gone past 28 days of sale . He made suggestions and improvements that worked for my space, and delivered many great ideas with a no pressure sales approach that I very much appreciated. My experience with Wren Kitchens has been nothing short of frustrating. From the start, I was pressured to place a down payment, and after paying in full, the communication completely stopped. I had to call and email daily just to get updates on what should have been a straightforward process. After waiting six long weeks, my cabinets were finally delivered -- only for me to find out there were no countertops included. The store is nothing more than corporate bureaucracy designed to take your money. Six months and several construction errors later, I'm now being asked to pay more for the replacement pieces. Trying to sort out the issues and everyone you speak with says I have to speak with someone else. Finally I'm fed up and want a refund and am told I need to send the wrongly ordered part back. Unfortunately, our experience with Wren was not positive. We had several hiccups with Wren from the pre-measurements, the follow up measurements, delivery, and countertop installation. We expected that there would be more expertise in advising but that was not the case. Even when we brought photos of our concern with the measurements particularly with our gas line, we were assured it was fine. Of course, that wasn't the case when installation occurred. The installers had to cut into the cabinet (which negates the warranty for that cabinet) to make it fit. The installers of the cabinets were great but every other aspect of the process was disappointing. Additionally, when we got the countertops installed we were told Wren does not do L-shaped countertops so we have 2 pieces with unpleasing seam adjacent to our sink. I called and emailed and unfortunately all of the reps from Wren were not helpful except for one. I wrote an email as per the directions from one of the reps which I did and included pics. The one response I did get was that the warranty on the cabinet that had to be cut into the back would maintain the warranty but that was only after I had written and complained. While the cabinets are nice so far, the overall experience was tremendously disappointing. We would not work with Wren again. read more

Worst experience ever in kitchen remodeling. Very, very poor quality. All the screws that fasten the locking mechanisms for the slides protrude into the exterior of the wooden dovetail drawer boxes. None of the slides can engage the adjustment/ locking mechanisms. Send in a lot of pictures and videos. It took weeks and when Wren sent the replacement parts, they all had the exact same problem. Wren service guy was very rude. Tried to tell me that he had pictures of the drawers as they came off the production line. Kept me waiting g for his email with the pictures to come through and when they finally did, the pictures were of everything but the drawers and slides. Then the idiot tells me that it happened during shipment. Right the screws screwed themselves in further while being shipped. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON WREN CABINETS. You're better off going to a local store and getting anything better than this. The sales agents who call themselves designers are extremely unreliable. I had to buy all those extra materials to cover the legs and get charged for it. Ridiculous! You think you are buying a good product by looking at a sample off the wall but when the actual product arrives it's a whole different deal. The whole process was wonderful until they sent installers who I couldn't communicate with as they didn't steal any English. They smoked a lot so the smell of cigarettes was all through my house even though they were outside. They literally put to the cabinets and they look crooked! I love in an old house so there are discrepancies with leveling with every project we do here it seems. Before the installers put it up they should have put my contractor or me on notice that it was off by an inch and would have been noticeable to the eye. But, due to low skill level and no ability to communicate, this didn't happen, the kitchen was finished before I noticed it as most everything was draped and covered as to not ruin. They sent a guy named Tom who was so incredibly rude and when I was rude back he kept highlighting that I was rude. It was gaslighting to the max. Quite surprising to be treated that way. The only reason he came here was to fight with me. He wasn't solution focused and he saw himself out after he realized who he was dealing with. There is a MAJOR quality control issue here and he spent 4 seconds on what he thought a solution could be and 15 minutes gaslighting and talking over me. Tom met his match today. As a designer w a new pro account with Wren, I'm quite disappointed. I already sold a kitchen to a client and had a few more lined up for the remaining 2025, but not now. They sell you a dream in the show room and once you agree and pay you have zero contact or returned calls from the rep who is supposed to be streamlining your project. Terrible management of your project, they will measure and re-measure several times and still get things wrong. In order to resolve issues you have to spend DAYS getting through customer service and leaving messages with different department who clearly don't speak to each other or pick up phone to try and streamline anything. The individuals who come to your home can't speak English so communication is non-existent and all they can manage to say to you is "call Wren" if any question or concern arises. My cabinets arrived with an egregious amount of damage on just about every door and cabinet. I contacted the Yonkers showroom where I made the purchase and shared with my designer the photos and videos of the damaged goods in hopes to expedite the process for replacement and to share my disappointment. Unfortunately, Wren customer service did not acknowledge the designers outreach which was very disturbing to hear. Not only did the cabinets arrived damaged, the measurements that Wren took by their employee were not accurate!!!! This caused more of a disruption in installation. I requested contact information for the Regional manager and I am still waiting for the information. Be forewarned and STAY AWAY. Their outright refusal to acknowledge their ineptness, incompetence and downright hostility is beyond comprehension and belief. They are quick to place blame on the customer and victimize the customer, as the Customer Service manager stated to me it's the customers responsibility to read the contract. I reminded her that if it wasn't for the poor, inaccurate measurements of the employee and the poor quality of their product, I wouldn't be contacting them. I had been working with Wren for over two months preparing my new kitchen plans. The communication was inconsistent with conflicting information. Getting a hold of management was very challenging. I would be promised a call back and then not receive one. In the end I canceled my order with wren and went with another company. After seeing the terrible reviews online I was hesitant to even walk into the showroom but we were having lunch nearby and my wife wanted to see what it was all about. The showroom was beautiful and we were greeted at the door by Kaheem. Thankfully the home measure and design appointment were "free" so I decided to give them a chance. The appointment took about an hour and 45 minutes. Very entertaining because they have a couch with a tv that they show the 3D renders on. The best part was experiencing the virtual reality(take caution if you have vertigo). So far everything is 10x better than we were anticipating after reading some of the reviews. We're gonna give them a chance and will post another review after the install is done. We renovated our house including our kitchen. The kitchen is still being worked on. We used Wren for the cabinets including install and chose countertops from somewhere else. We worked with Kaheem Deer at the Wren store in Levittown. Kaheem did an exceptional job going above and beyond. Kaheem was very patient as we made adjustments throughout the process and was even good with our kids when we had to bring them to the showroom providing them cookies and coloring books. Even after getting things set up in the showroom Kaheem and I went back and forth multiple times discussing adjustments as they occurred during the Reno. Wren is very lucky to have such a hard working employee laser focused on exceptional customer service. I would strongly recommend Wren and if possible, to work with Kaheem Deer! read more

I also cannot cancel the order because I signed the contract already. The order was placed on January 7th and I hope it will be done before March 8th. Several delays in confirmation of ready time for the order, duplicate countertop measurement appointments and then terrible installation. Wren subcontracts all the work to local contractors. Not sure what vetting process they use but it is insufficient. Cabinet installation resulted in some damages which I had to pay out of pocket to correct. Customer service felt that I was not providing sufficient proof of the damages so they allowed only a small credit. I suppose better than nothing.
