I had my kitchen renovated several months ago, and more recently I had my bathroom renovated. My experience each time with Old Country Tile was a pleasure. They are very knowledgeable and so helpful. They have an amazing inventory at all price points. I'm so glad I went with them to purchase my tile. At first I walked around the big box stores, feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. Then I decided to go to Old Country Tile and described my vision and showed them some photos I saw online that I liked. They are very patient and will show you beautiful tile that they don't carry at the big box stores. And you don't have to spend a fortune either. I wanted to surprise my wife with a new bathroom while she went away on vacation I chose this store and the owner Janice worked with me. she was very kind and helpful and I ordered flooring and wall tile. Unfortunately I'm not able to do the bathroom and I called Janice to cancel the order. She informed me that I could not return it because it was a "special order." I asked her if there was anything she could do and she told me to tell my wife to like it! This big tile store wants me to believe they will not be able to house and sell tiling in their large store instead make the small consumer suffer the loss. I never even picked up the tile. She went further on to tell me that it would cost even more money to send it back then it would to buy it Worst Customer service!!! PLENTY OF TILE STORES GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

My wife and I visited today looking for tile for our newly renovated kitchen. We had previously been to Home Depot and Lowe's but were unsuccessful in finding what we were looking for. Our contractor recommended Old Country Ceramic Tile. We should have gone there first and certainly will for any future needs. We were immediately greeted and treated with the utmost professionalism, patience, and care for our kitchen design and how the choose the best tile and design. It was a great shopping experience. I cannot say enough about Freddy and old Country Tile we first went to Old Country Tile in May I thought I knew the tile I wanted I started working with Freddy and told him my vision he pulled out several tile and they looked great the next day he told me to tile that I had picked for my side walls was not available I said no problem went back we picked out a new tile this time I fell in love Freddie held my hand from start to finish he was great we spoke we could just make sure the tile was still available my contractor started the beginning of August and the rest is history my bathroom is gorgeous I'm just waiting for my shower doors unfortunately the one thing the picture doesn't show is the texture in my gray tiles read more

I agree with the reviews in regards to tile selection... We went this past Saturday and it was quite busy but we signed our name on the waiting list and went to look around to pick up tile combo. We had everything picked out and when they called us. A sales person came not even a hello or a how can I help you she simply said are you ready and I said yes while my wife was on the phone with the contractor in regards to tile selection and square footage needed but I was available to speak in the meantime unfortunately the sales rep was so frustrated possibly with the last customer she took the frustrations out on us.... She even told my wife to lift her mask up because she doesn't want to get sick again, and again being professional and the respect I have for my elders I didn't say a thing and just walked out...... Very unfortunate circumstance and I promise I will continue to tell people about this disaster of a place! One of the worst experiences I had in a very long time..... Don't go here! I clearly expressed my vision for how I would like to tile my new bathroom. Lisa helped me and showed me different tile shapes I could use. I clearly told her I wanted to alternate black and white tiles. She recommended an octogon shape which I thought would look great alternating black and white. We placed the order and when the tile person started installing the tile he told me he could not alternate black and white with an octogon shape. I wound up with a black and white stripes which is definitely what I did not want. This is probably the first and only bathroom I get to design in my lifetime. I did not get what I wanted even though I clearly expressed my vision. Again, don't go here. There are plenty of other tile stores with perhaps more knowledgable employees. read more

Our contractor took us to Old Country Tile over 10 years ago and we had a wonderful saleswoman help us design our bathroom as well as the backsplash for our kitchen. She sat down with us and we put our complete design in her hands because she was so knowledgeable. We still love everything she recommended. Today we went to Old Country Tile with one of our old bathroom tiles in hand. We wanted to continue the tile behind our vanity. It was Saturday and the place was packed, but I was soon greeted by a salesperson who informed me that they no longer had this tile which was not surprising to us. The other salesperson at the register was able to immediately and amazingly identify the tile and we were told that they would call us after someone searched the warehouse . I didn't expect a call back especially on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, but I received a call. They did not have any leftovers of the discontinued tile, but the salesman gave us the name and model so we could continue our search. I would definitely recommend Old Country Tile and we will be returning for our next project. The customer service was outstanding 10 years ago and it hasn't changed after all these years! read more

Had a great experience. Had been to Home Depot & waited 20 minutes before someone could be found to help me. Here someone was responsive to my questions & so helpful. Gave them the price I found in HD & they gave me a great deal. Went back in 3 days to change selection & Maurice was so kind & again helpful, as was everyone else who assisted me. Highly recommend. Recently purchased two types of tile, honed marble and crushed glass accent tile. Both were of high quality and a fair price. Did not have a good experience here. Was originally told order would take 7-10 days. A week later they call me to verify quantity and say it would be 2-3 weeks from that point before product arrives. In addition the price went up from the original quote (which was no bargain to begin with). Classic bate and switch maneuver. Shady misleading business practice. Only reason to buy here is if no one else has the product you're looking for. Would avoid this store at all costs. read more
