Great before the sale, but sure hope you don't have issues after…read more We commissioned Josh to create custom cabinetry for our kitchen at our high end short term rental back in November of 2021. We paid almost a 3.5x the cost over installing Menards cabinets because we believed we were getting a high quality, durable product that would accentuate the experience of our guests - sometimes you just don't get what you pay for. Sales process, install and initial view of the product (June 2022) was great besides the delay on the install (it was covid after all, so understandable). Within 6 months we were mortified to find out how quickly the lower painted cabinets were deteriorating and reached out to Josh in January of 2023. During those 6-7 months, people only stayed at the cabin for 72 nights. So the first set of pictures were after about 2.5 months of living. Josh was quick to say this was a "rental property" and that renters are harder on properties....I have 5 kids under 10 and my home painted cabinets are over 7 years old and don't show a fraction of this damage. Josh agreed to repair a three of doors and the shoe trim - he was quick to get this done and completed the repair in February of 2024 - almost 13 months after I had reached out. In the meantime I was going through my tiny touch up bottle of paint like you wouldn't believe. He did provide me 2 additional bottles after my first bottle ran dry. (arn't those small touch up bottle supposed to last the lifetime of the cabinets?) In the 12 months since he did the last repair I used up the remaining 2 bottles of touch up paint and reached out again to Josh as the cabinets/trim shoe continued to chip at an alarming rate. It's been radio silent on my end in getting a response so I felt compelled to share my story. I do need to mention that the upper laminate cabinets turned out quite nice and have been very durable, even the floor to ceiling pantry that gets significant foot traffic has held up well - which makes this even more frustrating as I know they are capable of quality work. We needed extensive work on our home and did research and set up an appointment in January 2022. We met with Mr. Artur Komov and asked for the work to be done in two and a half months and to stay within the budget. He delivered and provided more. The price was reasonable and the quality was the best. He and his father, Jay, as well as all of his teams and workers have now become part of our family. We received new or remodeled: - sub-basement and basement (two whole floors, gutted and fixed) - bathroom, - kitchen, - all windows throughout the house, - roofing, - gutters - siding, - patio, - cement walkway around the house, - electrical, - plumbing, - painted all the rooms, - closet, and - stairways. The reasons of why they are best are as follows: 1) Focus on the customer / Passion for doing the right thing / Hardworking teams - Mr. Komov and Jay have one job, and it is to do the job in the best way. They go above and beyond in what they do. c. Gregg - We started with Gregg to choose tiles, kitchen and bathroom fixtures and countertops. We would spend hours with him and to different stores to find what is the best fit. His eye is amazing. d. Randy and his Team - We need to have Randy come in and do some support work. He and his team are exact, detailed oriented, and great. e. Plumbing - I love their licensed plumber Matty and his teams. They will show up in the morning and will take care of every single detail. He has the experience and the best quality. f. Electrical - Rob is a licensed electrician and a problem solver. He will work with your designs and help you get it wired together. g. Rana - He and his brother did our patio and cement around the house. They were amazing, so detailed oriented and hard working. They turned our backyard from dirt and grass into a beautiful patio. h. Roofing - Our roofer, Hammo, is now like family member. He and his team worked carefully and were detailed oriented in changing our roof. We had a leak that would interrupt the work. His team came and put tarps on the roof to protect the wood until they were ready to do the work. If there is a question, then he calls or comes immediately. i. Siding - Gus made our house beautiful and safe on the outside. We had dated and broken vinyl siding, and he did everything to replace, to fix, and to make it beautiful. He also was adjustable to providing beautiful molding outside the windows to accent them. 3) Very Responsive - If there is a problem or question or request, then Mr. Komov responds in less than an hour. He is always there and always ready to help. 4) Great Quality Materials / Everything is Included - Some may use cheaper material and not let you know or force you to pay for extra "add ons" once you agree to the job. PHR takes pride in using the best quality material and everything is included. For example, they use the right insulation in the basements, and took care of fixed additional items in the job. They are dedicated to making sure that you are happy. 5) They will stay until the job is done, and it will be done right - Finally, they stick to their commitments and deadlines and never sacrifice on quality. Most recently installed grounded electrical line to my garage from the house and an outdoor motion sensor light for my driveway. Few mths ago installed an outlet in my bsmt, an outdoor outlet on the front of the house, and another motion sensor light for side of house. Last year, while working under another company, Fabian, Armando and team worked on my sunroom: installed a new exterior door, cleanly and neatly pumped insulation into the four corner cracks, installed a 2nd floor bathroom ceiling fan routed to outdoors/skim-coated and painted bathroom ceiling, installed an above-stove microwave and installed a duct to route the above stove range fan of the microwave to blow to the outdoors.
