Everything, from John's redesign of our kitchen, to Chris our foreman and Michelle, who kept us advised every step of the way, was done in a professional manner. Very disappointed. I was highly recommended by the salesperson Walter at NDA to purchase wood cabinets. My husband wanted to spend less and buy composite. I specifically asked Walter what is the warranty. He said "forever". Told me i could contact them at anytime they would help me. We spent 90,000 on a custom kitchen. Now I am being told they no longer can order the touch up kit because the manufacturer doesn't stopped making the color. The representative Michelle said, In all the years dealing with this manufacturer Kitchen-Craft whenever they stopped making a color they will no longer make touch up kits. But if you want to have the doors replaced they will customize for you. It can't be a few doors, it needs to be many. My kitchen is still young and we are seniors hardly use it. They should find a way to help me get a touch-up paint without unnecessarily replacing costly doors. Nicole, in reference to your response below, if you recall you transferred me to Michelle. As stated above, Michelle told me i could not just replace one or two doors. She referenced another customer who had 8 or 9 replaced. She was able to help them after a color had been discontinued. "They would customize as they were purchasing many doors and she didn't think the company would accommodate me". Obviously, the company has a way to make discontinued colors. I can work with a small bottle. It is very fair of me to hold you responsible when i was told i would never have a problem. You made no earnest attempt to help me solve the issue without replacing many costly doors. I will call company directly myself and see if i can get the color. Benjamin Moore makes a sea shell and it looks very similar. From what I understand online this company is in line with Benjamin Moore who still makes sea shell white. Hopefully they can confirm this is the same color. Maybe you have learned something here to help other customers. My purpose in writing this review is informative for other customers as 90,000 is a lot of money to spend and then be told there is nothing to be done. read more

Called NDA to schedule an in home consultation to discuss adding some extra cabinets and counter top to a wall that sits directly across from my kitchen. Essentially, a butlers pantry space. The man came and was not interactive with me at all. He measured the space and I was hoping to discuss design options based off of pictures I've found online but he was overall not very interested and when I asked if he would like me to email the pictures of designs that I've found he simply said no I do this all the time I know what you're looking for. He tells me he will get back to me the following week with an estimate. No call so I call to check in, he said he'll get back to me beginning of the next week. So he calls and wants me to come in the store to look at the design and will not email it to me to it's against their policy. I ask him for an estimate of cost and he tells me an insane amount of $$ that wasn't too far off of what I paid to do my entire kitchen just 3 years ago. I let him know that is way out of my budget but considering there is probably other design options we could put together that might change the price, can we take another look after re working it a little, but he refused and said I'm probably getting better pricing because I'm getting quotes from businesses using Chinese imports and they don't work with those. I called another place and they had someone here the next day- he discussed so many options with me! Asked me questions I didn't even think of before like spacing between top and bottom, and counter height. Just provided so much more productivity to our consultation and spent 40 min talking with me, where NDA guy was here for 5 minutes total. He said he'll work on getting something over to me by end of week and gave me his card to contact him if I think of any other questions or possible modifications to what we've discussed! That is the level of service I'm expecting and especially when you want to come at with me an insane price! Bring your business elsewhere. read more

Things are great when you're in contract. Post-contract customer service is utterly disappointing. My husband and I decided to go with NDA after speaking with multiple contractors. NDA was the most expensive option, but they were also the most thorough and professional. NDA's contract is extremely detailed in regards to material and pricing. Their designer, John Nelson, is amazing. Big shout out to John for designing a beautiful and functional kitchen. He took the time to design a great dining area while other contractors simply wanted to keep the old layout and slap on new cabinets. The workers on-site were efficient and diligent about keeping the place as clean as possible. The one major complaint I have is the grout and caulk work - both in the kitchen and the bathroom. The caulk between the backsplash and countertop has separated - for the second time now. Grout in multiple areas of the bathroom developed a crack. The grout at one corner of my bathroom window is cracked and yellowing. Our major concern is possible mold, which is a pain to remedy. We've reached out to NDA about these issues several times since November. They still haven't been able to resolve the issue. There's a general reply about checking worker schedules or reviewing the request but NO follow through. This has been very frustrating. Based on these events, I would not recommend or use NDA again for future projects. read more

If I could give NDA 10 stars I would. They have been wonderful to work with from start to finish. John helped us design the kitchen. He is so nice and easy to work with. He has a great idea, responds very quickly to questions and is very open to any ideas that you have. Courtney, the project manager, was on top of the job from beginning to end. He communicated with us daily, and oversaw the entire project. He made frequent visits to the house to make sure everything was running smoothly. Chris and Phil worked their butts off on all of the carpentry work, and cleaned up every single day. They were immaculate. Michelle oversaw the daily schedule. She was in contact with us daily, sometimes multiple times a day. I never met her but can tell that she is a sweetheart! Everyone was extremely professional and nice. And unlike other construction companies, they stuck to the schedule they gave us, so we knew each day what was being done, and best of all, there were no delays. read more

This is another rave review for NDA Kitchens. They are professional, precision craftsmen. Their primary mission is to wow their clients with amazing customer service ( that's you Michelle ) and they do that well. Bending over backwards to make sure we were happy was the theme throughout the process. On Ed's first visit to scope out our home (and before he had any assurance that we were going forward with him), he was climbing around on hands and knees in our attic to figure out the best way to design our kitchen. Redesign the layout 4 times? No problem! Seal off the kitchen in a plastic bubble to avoid dust before demolition? Of course! Stick to a written, day by day schedule of work progress like a clock? Yup. We were promised a kitchen completely finished before Thanksgiving and guess what? We had 35 guests who were eating turkey in our home who had no idea that 2 weeks before, we were looking at studs and insulation. NDA is the real deal! read more

We recently renovated our entire kitchen and NDA made the experience easy and comfortable. Not only did they complete the renovation in 4 weeks, just like they promised, but they also took care of any problems that arose along the way. They took care of everything from drawing up my design wishes, to ordering supplies, to planning a detailed day by day schedule, to following that schedule perfectly. Everyone that I dealt with was friendly, knowledgable, and dedicated to getting the kitchen done correctly and on time. We used NDA to reconstruct our bathroom after reading reviews on Angie's list. We had a very good experience. Samantha was the first person we met and she gave us great recommendations with the design. Courtney was the project manager and he made sure that everything was getting done as it should. I had visited the NDA site a while back and met with the owner who I liked very much. Even in a quick visit, he appeared to have insight into what would work for my kitchen. My husband (who was not with me) then went also out to their site, this time he met the owner's father-again he was impressed. Even though the owner had given me a high ballpark figure, we both felt that they were the company we would probably use. However, when we called for a visit/quote, another man came, measured- took two weeks to have plan ready for us to review. We went back, met with him. However, in looking at plans all he had done was a replacement of the cabinetry and island (free standing which was new) that we already had. During the measuring visit, we advised him we wanted a wall down between kitchen and dining room - and an island there. This was not anywhere on the plan. And the pricing was high. Although we were not happy with this oversight, we thought while we were meeting he would then show us a plan including the wall removed (as we had originally planned). He told us he could do that but we would have to give him $1,500 upfront for a redo of the plan. Nobody would make a decision to go with a contractor who could not provide a plan they liked. Also I was perusing tile and other samples in showroom. Right away he said Ok, good we have that settled - we can go ahead . If you cannot prepare a plan that we are happy with and just because I look at a tile, does not mean a decision has been reached. All in all I found the approach very rushed (considering the higher price tag) and was taken aback by the idea that to change the design to one we liked- they wanted $1,500. As a note there was not design, I could do a direct replacement of the cabinetry as is on my home computer program. Even at consumers they worked with us on the plan and another contractor spent a long time considering our needs. I guess the employees do not have the same sales ability or customer service attitude as the owner. It appears others had a good experience and it is a shame that we did not. read more

I have just had my kitchen finished and I have to say NDA was fantastic. Samantha helped us pick just the right colors and designed it perfectly. Courtney was fantastic and always responsive. Michelle contacted us everyday and with only one glitch (that they resolved perfectly and made sure I was happy), they even finished on time! I heard that they were a little higher in price, but after seeing how everything was done perfectly and thoroughly, I can honestly say they were worth it. Even better, they took such pride in their work and were excited at how beautiful their work was. Last year we had NDA redo our kitchen. It was an elaborate job that required load bearing walls to be moved, and took over a month to complete. We could not be happier. These guys delivered on everything they said they would do and more. Every aspect of their work was outstanding. They were professional and honest. I normally don't like leaving my house unattended with workers inside, but these guys were totally trustworthy. Their was only one thing that required us to call them back (a defective hood from Wolf [Not NDA's fault]) and they were responsive and did the right thing.
