We have ordered our kitchen cabinets and countertop via Home Depot. King Tops was our countertop and backsplash fabricator and installer. These people are true professionals. This is not an easy job and we have been not an easy customers. However the result is great. Our kitchen has been fabricated and installed with the very high quality. Countertop and backsplash fabricated and installed by King Tops is one of the most important parts of this outcome. It was manufactured from SIlestone Calacatta Gold quartz material. It looks amazingly clean, light and like suspended in the air thanks to the implementation of the solid piece backsplash on the back wall of the kitchen. It is the solid piece of 122" x 58" size of 2 cm material on the one of the walls for backsplash. Countertop was fabricated from the same material, however from 3 cm. This is clearly result of the great coordination between fabrication and installation parts of the process. No other fabricator was willing to produce and install such large backsplash as one solid piece. Thank you for being brave and producing and installing this solid backsplash piece. Working with Jay and Patrick was rewarding and we truly felt that our project is on the top of their list. Amazing job! Best recommendations and references if any needed. read more

If I could give them zero stars, that's even too much. This company was contracted through Home Depot, and between the two of them you couldn't get more incompetence and lying if you tried. In addition to trying to extort more money for the countertop, they would not honor the timetable agreed upon, and I ended up wasting a week of vacation for a countertop that never showed up. They refused to then work out an alternate time now that I was going back to work - apparently these "doctors" won't work after 5 or on a weekend for a simple drop-and-leave job - and welcomed me to cancel the order through Home Depot. Stay as far away from these cheats, liars and unprofessionals as you can get. read more

We hired Home Depot who sent us King Tops. We told them to keep extra space since we had a large stove. They messed it up and the only solution was to replace the stove and change the wall trimmings. Fortunately we still got the new stove in but only barley. Worst thing was that King Tops and Home Depot just stopped calling back and never even came by to look at the problem. The techs who came to template took their time to work with the many quirks of our walls. The techs who came to do installation were careful with the countertops and did an excellent job. I ordered a countertop from Home Depot , kingtop came and did the template . I then received an email stating I had a balance . I called I was told o needed a 36x12 in panel in between my dishwasher and refridge . The man that did template told me I needed a wedge of wood under countertop above dishwasher in the corner and said he would have them throw it in . The guy at kingtop insisted I misunderstood and " we don't throw anything in for nothing" I found him to be rude and nasty ! After a back and forth with Home Depot I cancelled my order . Why would I have a company come into my home that spoke to me like that before they even did the job!!! I received two other estimates and was told " I needed a wedge " not a 36x12 inch panel , So Home Depot lost my business because of king top read more

Before you let them touch anything, but in the installer's presence, take photos of every appliance that your counters touch from multiple angles. My new Corian countertops and backsplash look great. However, during removal of the old materials the side of my microwave which sits above the stove was damaged. The metal side was bent in and the bottom edge was bent and the paint scraped off. I did not see the damage until after the 24 hours that I was told to wait to let the silicone set when I went to wash everything down. I let the company know right away, just 24 hours later and they said that I must have had other people in to do work who did the damage. It is a case of my word versus theirs which is a shame because I would have been happy with them just sending someone to try to fix the edge for me. So keep this in mind if you hire them or for that matter any company. My project was arranged through Home Depot also and when I told them about the incident, I was assured that King Tops would do the right thing. No such luck. Update December 2017. After this review was posted a representative of King Tops came to view the damage and wrote us a check for an agreed amount. Very happy with the outcome. I still strongly recommend taking photos before any workers begin just to be safe. read more

When Kingtops delivered the marble slab I purchased through Home Depot, they dropped it in the elevator, chipping the corner of the stone. My building's super saw it happen. When Kingtops installed it, they smeared some yellowy, sticky resin over the corner, apparently thinking I wouldn't notice. But I did notice. I brought this to the attention of Home Depot customer service, which has not returned my last three calls, and to Kingtops, which claimed that the broken corner was merely a natural flaw in the stone. Eventually, Kingtops returned to do a better repair, but it doesn't change the fact that I had to pay full price for a slab of marble that Kingtops damaged. I would never recommend Kingtops (or Home Depot) to anyone. read more

King tops installed my countertop misaligned to the kitchen island cabinets by half an inch and managed to glue one of the top drawers to the countertop. When I called to ask to come and rectify the issues in perfectly good mood, understanding that things happen, Jay (supposedly the manager or the owner) managed to upset me by arguing and telling me that the job was signed off by my wife. Finally he offered to come a week later. A good and true effort to turn a happy customer to an unhappy one! read more

I rarely take the time to write a review, but wanted others to avoid this company. The first time they came to install my countertops it supposedly broke while loading it onto the truck, which delayed an already late project. A week later when they returned the guy installed them and after he left I could tell from the other room that they were totally crooked. A marble would have flown off. I called him and he came back and raised up the corner that I explained needed to be raised in order to level it out. His level confirmed this (but apparently wasn't used the first time). He was about to leave and I told him the section on the other side of my stove now needed to be raised too so they were both even. He was surprised that I wanted that as though it's normal for one side to be 1/2 inch lower and was grumbling about it. The following week I needed to replace the stove and discovered that he had screwed wood into the side of the stove to support the countertop. No one I have ever spoken to has heard of that. People need to change their stoves, or....clean behind them! I then had to hire someone else to fix the botched job so I could remove the stove. The office staff is also abrasive and less than helpful. There are plenty of companies out there to chose instead, so that would be my recommendation. read more
