Small line on a Saturday morning with friendly baristas. At this neighborhood staple, I ordered a Karl the Fog, an iced coffee with an earl grey foam top. I wish they had the sippy toppers for the cups to get more of the foam in each sip which was delicious.

Mid ahhh matcha, honestly don't even put matcha on the menu if you can't do it right lol

While in town, we stopped to try an iced cappuccino and iced latte. Service was quick. I was actually jealous of my husband's iced cappuccino. It was the best I have ever had with the foam on top. Inside is small but a few seats. They also had a few tables outside. Definitely will return!

the first and last time i visited was during covid so I never got to step foot inside the store until today! it felt like a little book underneath the stairs and the floral wallpaper was very eye catching. i knew i wanted an iced drink, something caffeinated and not too sweet. the two tonics stood out and i went with the espresso instead of matcha as i was feeling more coffee than tea. i also requested half the amount of citron as i don't like my espresso tonics too sweet. the drink came out in a few minutes and was the perfect afternoon pick-me-up! ill definitely come back again to try other menu items.

Now I will be honest up front, I did not consume coffee here but my husband, who is a barista and coffee snob, did! The shop was minimalistic and clean. Finally somewhere that wasn't crowded! But it was very small and seating was limited which was a bummer. I wish they had more bar seating that wasn't at the actual coffee bar. Simple menu and merch but extremely well done. Tasteful. My husband had high praise for both his espresso and pourover (he got the Guatemalan). I wish I would've been in a coffee mood but I'll just have to come back on future travels!!

tried the new 50:50 drink taiwan style ($4.50)--half cruel summer iced tea, half flash brew coffee ethiopia aricha, with a drop of oat milk. it was certainly interesting and refreshing, but as a latte girl I prefer my milk-based drinks! there were interesting pastries though, such as an ube snickerdoodle cookie I was eyeing.

matcha was mid (not bad not the best) but nice vibes. matcha was also a bit pricey for the taste. need to try their pastries

small quaint little cafe in cow hollow! the coffee was yum! 6.5/10 (there is a $.75 surcharge for nondairy milk however). got an og and vanilla latte (i liked the vanilla one more). the latte was not hot though so :(

Great coffee and espresso, friendly service, cool shop. Bench seating around the perimeter, a few tables outside to enjoy your coffee.

Cute interior! Unfortunately I wasn't the biggest fan of the iced cappuccino--tasted a bit sour and more milky than I would have liked :(((

Instead of greeting us or explaining anything politely, he repeatedly rushed us, saying we needed to hurry up and order because they were closing soon. When I calmly asked what time they close, he avoided answering and instead said, "I need to get out of here," and told us to pay quickly so we could leave. What made it even more confusing was that there were still multiple people inside sitting and working on laptops, clearly not being rushed out the same way. When I asked about that, he rolled his eyes and essentially ushered us out the door. I completely understand businesses closing and wanting to wrap up for the day, but there's a respectful and professional way to communicate that. This felt unnecessarily hostile and unwelcoming, especially for a neighborhood coffee shop. Based on this experience alone, I wouldn't return.

There are tons of workout studios in this neighborhood and MNT Pilates and Barre Union are on the same block. I love the benches and table out in front, I always try to sit there because this stretch of Union intersecting with Fillmore is totally bustling. The 45 bus stops right in front so there's always people milling around. It's great for people watching and for being in the middle of it all. Sometimes you can see the Michael's Liquour store cat (located across the street) walking in the front of their store. The inside is basic and could probably do with a remodel. The coffee roaster in the eating area makes it looks a little cluttered. For coffee it's pretty standard but they are one of the only coffee places I know that sells hardboiled eggs, pie, and a Borgia.

My business colleague invited me to catch up with him this week in San Francisco. Living in the…read moreneighborhood he recommended we meet at Andytown Coffee Roasters at 181 Fremont Street adjacent to the Saleforce Park. I took an Uber which dropped me in front of the correct building location, however, I had in minds eye remembering seeing a coffee shop in the Salesforce Park so I inadvertently went to that coffee shop. WRONG! After realizing my mistake, I texted my colleague and we were able to connect IRL on Andytown Coffee Roasters on the 7th floor. The shop is HUGE and since it took a few minutes to circle back my friend ordered me a medium coffee ahead of my arrival which was great given there was a long line by the time I arrived. The coffee was very nice and I appreciate the taste and warmth. After about 45 minutes we left the ACR shop and walked in the elevated Salesforce Park which is stunning urban designed. The only comment I would mention is the noise volume levels were loud given there were 20-30 people in line to order and talking. Not a big deal, we moved to two very comfortable sofas a few feet away or could have gone outside since there is many options inside and outside to enjoy the space. I took several photos of my visit and when I am back in the area will definitely go back and try their menu. Don't forget to leave time to causally stroll around the magnificent shaded garden 7 stories above the street! Enjoy!

They have a seasonal Strawberry Matcha Latte, and I have never felt this disappointed in a drink before. The drink barely had any matcha and turned grey after mixing. The strawberry was overly sour. You can see from the color that they used the most oxidized matcha ever. The drink really tasted like iron mixed with something sour. I hope they taste their drinks before selling it. Maybe other lattes are better but honestly this was just way too disappointing.

There's also a bathroom and merchandise for sale. I tried the hazelnut latte and the lavender latte, and I preferred the flavor of the hazelnut. The portions are pretty big too (large cups). There is a place in San Francisco where you will feel at home with a cup of coffee . It is located on Clement street and 21st Avenue it's called Home Coffee Roasters . On a Spring stroll away from home in San Francisco I landed at a place which roasts its own coffee at Home in house at Home Coffee Roasters . There many coffee options available on the menu like drip coffee and Americano along with Cocotini which has Coconut Vanilla Hangover. It was my first time at Coffee Bodega and won't definitely be my last!…read more I was in the area for a meeting but wanted to grab a coffee and light breakfast before I went into the office. Coffee Bodega was just around the corner of my destination, and it was a 5 minute walk from the Embarcadero bus station where I made my stop. The cafe was located in a little alley way next to Tender Greens and an ice cream parlor. I was feeling the earthy vibe of the place. I could see how the place paid homage to South American cultures with their coffee and food (i.e. arepas, empanadas, and alfajores). As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the most welcoming barista, which honestly made my day. She went above and beyond with her friendliness, helpfulness, and overall hospitality. She knew that I wasn't a regular and kindly offered her recommendations of their salted maple latte and mushroom and cheese empanada. Both items did not disappointed. The salted maple latte hit the spot, but the empanada was particularly the showstopper. Can't wait to try their other empanadas next time.
