I called Upper Canada Mechanical and Dan Plomish answered the phone on the first ring. As soon as I described the system that I have he knew the complex where my home is located and has done work for some of my neighbours. Dan and his crew arrived at the scheduled time and began the task to remove the old system to get a much more energy efficient and quiet system in the house. They put down work mats and were careful to make sure our two house cats didn't get out the door as they came and went. I am confident that I wasn't be sold anything more than what I need to accomplish my goal. We are extremely happy with the job that was done as well as with the equipment that was installed. I would highly recommend Dan if you need any HVAC work. On a side note, as we are new to the area, Dan was great at giving us the names of other local contractors, plumbers, etc. with whom he has confidence. We have been in touch with some of them and are impressed with the friendly and quick attention to our needs after mentioning Dan's name.

Again, never called back. I understand people being busy and losing track of who called and who should be called back. However; if you are so busy that you don't need the work, then be courteous and tell it as it is. I also understand that some people are racist and perhaps don't like the origins of my name or my phone number's area code. Either way, this is no way of running a business. Lou.
