Called Jay at JRK Electric. He came right out and looked at the line on the house and determined it had to be replaced. Promised to come back because he. Ended to pick up supplies to do job. And he showed up next day in miserable snow storm and replaced everything back to circuit box. That also needed to be replaced. This guy got so sick working out in that storm that he couldn't come back for a few days. He did and finished the . Very polite, great sense of humor, reasonably priced. And 4 weeks later still texting me to see if everything ok. Still flickering so called NYSEG again and guess what ? Their line was also involved in the problem. Go figure!! Double our rates and and screw us when it's critical. I do thank The tech they sent out second time he found their problem and fixed it really fast. Now all is good.

I found JRK Electric on Yelp and called them. Jason came out and got us back up and running but we needed to eventually repair either underground or overhead. He provided us an invoice/estimate for the overhead repair on 12/5/15, total cost $1500. I gave him a deposit on 12/5/15 for $750. Despite numerous calls to initiate the job and 5 months later he has put off the job and no return on the deposit with I phoned and left him a message to say I will find some other electrician to do the job.This is not any way to do business, and very irresponsible.

After calling him, he was responsive in getting me a quote. Although it took about a month until he had availability to do the job, once it came time to do the job, he was professional and very communicative. A joy to work with as a contractor. He also got a permit and did everything by the book and had very reasonable pricing. In my case, I had a 220 line he had to run and a small outside light to install. All in all, I'm very happy with his work. He does residential jobs on the side to teach his son the trade, so his availabilty might be limited, but if you're looking for electrical work in the Falls, I definitely recommend giving him a call and seeing if he can help you out. #ServiceStarShoutOut

The fan over our shower was bad and we never saw any results so we got a top of the line Veent fan and the installation was pretty intense with a need to cut some additional space in the roof. When Kate came in she gave us a fair estimate and she came the day we had set up letting us know she was on her way and couldnt have been more pleasant to work with. There was no doubt she cared about her work and our satisfaction- always checking with us after was done with a "hows it look"? It was nice having someone so upbeat and positive and she did a professional wonderful job. It was a few hours for her with shower fan installation the bulk of her time and required some extra work but it looks great and works perfectly. She has alot of pride in her work and it shows as she herself was very satisfied with the end result. The outside security light and motion detector also required some extra time but she was able to get it done just in time before a wind/rain storm came with the help of a couple assistants who arrived with the large required ladder. Yes we also feel the cost for her services was more than fair and she even gave us a break/discount for adding another outside light onto her original estimate. While he was there I asked if he could also install a small TV mount on a brick wall in my kitchen. He said he could do both jobs and gave me a very reasonable price quote. He came by a few days later and very quickly installed the fan and TV mount. In fact it was so quick and easy that he did it in less time than expected, so he adjusted the price lower for me.
