Today Mr. Hoffman from Gen-Tech came to do an estimate for a new generator. When he saw that I have a generator he advised me it was possible it could be repaired rather than replaced. He then diagnosed the problem, replaced the faulty part, and ran a test to demonstrate that the generator does work! However, 30 minutes later, they called back to cancel entirely. The reason? They claimed they "just realized" it was too cold and the ground might be frozen. As a professional plumbing company, the weather and ground conditions should have been factored into their schedule long before the actual arrival time. To cancel an urgent job after already being "en route" is unprofessional and left our facility in a difficult position. Very disappointed in their lack of reliability and foresight.
