Chicken Shawarma wrap

Don't understand why there isn't a line out the door every day. The food is so fresh and flavorful and the family that now own it are friendly, welcoming and they changed the hours so it's now open for dinner which means I can go more often! I'm seriously addicted to the chicken shawarma wrap. The chicken is so flavorful and the sauce is garlicky and creamy. The wrap they use holds up well to the filling. Nothing worse than a soggy wrap. This one is perfect. My sons love the falafel and the lamb gyro wrap. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Make this place busy! I need this food in my life for a long time!

Love this place. Delicious food with a kind owner who gave us great service. It's a small store on a nondescript location but the food blew us away. The special was roasted lamb shanks. The meat fell off the bone. This was better quality than a fancy restaurant costing multiples more. I highly recommend this nice little spot and look forward to going back soon.

Always perfect food, every damn visit! Staff is always quick and helpfull if you want to try new things.

Chicken platter and beef wrap

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. The service was just as impressive -- friendly, attentive, and very professional. Everything came out on time, and the staff made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. If you're looking for a place with delicious fresh food and great service, I highly recommend this restaurant. I'll definitely be coming back!

The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The grilled chicken, hummus, and salad were all delicious, and the Persian dishes stood out. The staff were attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience enjoyable.10 at 10 .

This used to be one of my favorite places in Reno to eat. It was in my top three. I went in today after not having eaten there in almost a year. It appears that someone else is running the place now and the food has changed. The chicken is flavorless, the rice is a completely different kind of rice, and the potatoes weren't very good. I won't be going back and I can't say that I would recommend this place to anyone again. It's sad because I used to recommend it to everyone. Not anymore. It's sad because there aren't very many places in Reno where you can get Lebanese food.

A Truly Five Star meal. Fast, Healthy and served with a smile. Greek food is amazing. This is my first time here. I am hooked. The food was fresh and made to order and served fast. Wow! I had a wonderful chicken and beef platter and a piece of Baklava.....fabulous! If you haven't tried his wonderful restaurant, I think you should! Julie A

This is legit some of the best falafel I've ever had! We stopped in for a quick lunch and my husband got the lamb and raved about it all day. Literally all day. I don't even like lamb that much but the bite I had was so delicately spiced and fell off the bone. I'm hungry thinking about it. Folks at the counter were super friendly and portion sizes were amazing--especially for the affordable price! I've tried almost every Mediterranean/Middle Eastern spot in Reno and I'm kinda shocked this one flew under my radar for so long. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu!

Baklava

Found this Mediterranean place on our way to the airport and decided to stop for lunch as it great reviews. We were disappointed. The pita bread was stale and hard to bite. Falafel also seemed a day old. The garlic sauce in the wraps was scarce. Baklava was alright. Service was quick so their tag line "fast and fresh" is only half true, it's definitely fast but not fresh.

Price was high for such small portions. The falafel was extra dry and the humus had no flavor. Very disappointed.

Anyone know if this place is open? Last time i TRIED to go there (about a month ago) there was no one about and the door was locked. According to posted hours I was there at the right time.

Weird! But yes - this place is open. The only day they close is Sundays. All other days open 11am-6pm.

They make daily fresh bread. We got an Iced Vietnamese coffee which was super strong. I drink Vietnamese coffee often and very familiar but this, this was stronger than a typical Viet coffee. So strong that a headache kicked in immediately and only drank 1/4 of the cup. Also got a matcha cloud which consist of coconut water and a creamy matcha foam. First sip, sweet and creamy. Barely tasted the matcha. For pastries we got the chocolate croissant, pain suisse and a Kouign Amann. The Kouign amann was different, it was in a shape of a bar and had multiple flaky layers. Tasted like a palmier cookie. Everything was delicious. The lines can be long and we were told if you just want drinks, walk next door to Perenn Grocery and they can make the drinks quickly to avoid the lines. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

I wasn't sure what to expect ordering such a simple meal at a gourmet restaurant but I was really happy with my choice. Chicken was great, veggies were fresh and a great portion, sauce was delicious, bun was nice and soft. And it came with a ton of fries that I wasn't even able to finish. My friend also got a beet salad that she shared with me and it was so good probably the best beet salad I've had. Now for the bad. The parking here is absolutely horrible. Part of me hates complaining about street parking because the restaurant really doesn't control that, but the other part of me can't understand why you would open a restaurant in a town with very low walkability/ public transport, in an area with no parking.... I had to park a few streets away, the streets had no sidewalks so I was forced to walk in the street, and overall felt unsafe walking by myself to the restaurant. For this alone, I probably wouldn't come back.... Second, we sat outside and there was live music playing and it was so loud we couldn't hear a single person at the table. We came for book club and we literally had to wait for the band to have a break and then quickly talk as fast as possible about the book before they started their next song. We specifically sat outside because we some of the girls at our meeting had been to La condessa before and said the acoustics inside are bad and it's loud and hard to hear. Last point being service. Pretty horrible service I was very disappointed. Took forever to get our orders. One order came out wrong but our friend ate it anyway. Two orders never came out at all. The staff had to be reminded to bring things out constantly. 3 of our party didn't get their ordered cocktails until half way through the dinner and about 35 minutes after the ordered them. The waitress seemed frazzled and kept saying sorry I'm busy, but then did nothing to rectify or put any extra attention to our table despite seeing over and over that she was failing. Not sure if this was an off night, outdoors didn't seem that busy. Maybe inside was busier im not sure. Overall was not impressed with the service and too loud to talk but if you come with a smaller party and want to listen to loud music, then it's probably a good spot for you. And the food is great

And by "snacks," they're really more like hearty appetizers... and there are A LOT to choose from! We actually had a hard time deciding what we wanted... and then were given even more options! For example, one item of the three we ordered was pulled pork sliders - we were then given the choice of teriyaki or BBQ sauces. I don't know anywhere else in town where you can actually customize your happy hour food! We ended up choosing carne asada street tacos, teriyaki pulled pork sliders, and spinach-artichoke dip; see photo. The tacos were delicious and authentic street style. The sliders were hearty and delicious. And the spinach-artichoke dip was absolutely fantastic. (I make my own dip at home that I love and this was shockingly similar; couldn't stop eating it!). Btw the two of us, we still couldn't finish our happy hour meal; substantial, for sure, and a great value. Our server/bartender was Mikayla and she was WONDERFUL! She was finishing up a heavy lunch rush and was wrapping up her shift, but still made sure she took care of us from the beginning to the end of our meal. Mikayla was bright, shiny, happy, and took time to explain all the happy hour options; she's a valuable employee for sure! There's a freezer when walking in to your right that features Gino the Soup Man soups, and prepared freezer meals like Shepherd's pie. Lunch time can prove busy but when the weather is right and the seating is available outdoors, this place is a cozy hangout spot for reading or catching up with friends! There are heat lamps available outside to keep you warm throughout the colder months. I'd recommend taking parties larger than 4 at the South Meadows location, as the seating inside can be limited during busy times. Their menu can change slightly overtime, so I recommend branching out and getting what sounds good while it's available. Their breakfast burritos here have been a staple for me no matter the time of day, and frankly, ordering it at the other locations is such a let down because they do it so well here.
