I love Worthy and regularly visit the establishment with friends and Worthy employees. My favorite thing to order is the Prefunk Pale with the chocolate chip cookie and ice cream dessert. I wanted to indulge in exactly that yesterday, while watching the Duck game. I came into the brewery with a friend whose boyfriend works in the Worthy kitchen. We tried to grab a spot at the bar, but there was 2 of us and only 1 open bar stool. Because of the bar stool situation, we opted to sit at the second of the two "lobby" tables directly in front of the hostess station. There was a big party at the longer table, so we sat facing the front door at the four-top table. The server in the section was Sean; large plugs, tattoos, long hair, backwards hat. We had been sitting for about 20 minutes when Sean had walked past us a total of five times while serving the table in front of us. We had no beers, no waters, no menus, or food in front of us. Finally, we got the attention of an off-shift employee who we knew, who then went to the bartender who said she wouldn't mind ringing in our order, but that it was the section server's responsibility. We finally had two separate employees trying to get us our water, beer, and dessert as quickly as possible once it was mentioned that we had been ignored by Sean. We proceeded to finish our dessert (literally, two bites left) when Sean finally approached claiming that he "totally thought we were waiting for a to-go order". Yeah, right! How would you know we were waiting for a to-go order if you didn't ask us? Did you take our to-go order? What if I'm thirsty while I wait? Do I smell? What kind of server doesn't even stop to greet a table blatantly in his section? I give worthy 5 stars, and Sean 1 star which is why my Yelp review officially makes a "3". read more

Good atmosphere with great food. Definitely better than your typical bar/brew pub food. Pizza is great and they do have GF crust.

Been here a time or two before but on this trip we had just hiked 11 miles and we're looking for rehydration! Just happened to be Zwicklemania so my hubby got a special Graham Cracker Stout served with a side of fudge! Great food with a twist on typical bar fare. The place is big, airy and sunny on a nice day. Haven't sat on the patio yet but it looks like an amazing place to hang on both sunny and cool days. There are fire pits and warmers. The first time here we sat at the bar and sampled a flight of beer. The east side location is off the beaten path for me but when we are on this side of town it's a favorite. read more

I think this place is over priced and the food is just ok depending i what you get. Last time I was here I ordered some amazing sounding sausage sandwich. When it showed up, it was a split roll covered in marinara sauce, cheese and sausage crumbles. Basically a 14.00 piece of pizza. Friend of mine had a very wimpy looking salad. I do enjoy the Brussels sprout appetizer but beyond that, nothing really stands out. Service is consistently slow and pretty poor. It gets two stars instead of one because i like the patio and think the place has potential as far as atmosphere. I don't drink much beer but I do like the doppleBock when they have it. Went here the other day for a beer and dinner. The beer was actually not too bad, I had their Ipa. The food was not that great really. The soup came out cold, the salad was blah and the pizza was so so. These guys really think they are gonna be a big deal. The size of the brewery is absolutely massive and looks as if they have gone right into canning. The atmosphere is very corporate reminded us of a Rock Bottom...don't really think ill be back. read more

Adequate food, but the beers really don't do the beautiful building and dining area justice: they remind me of many microbrewery beers from 30+ years ago, where the brewer would be learning as they go. If I'm on the east side, I might go here, but it really isn't worth a special trip. Just because a brewery is small doesn't mean it's good. read more

Our first visit was last night. My wife had the Tuscan chicken sandwich ($13) and sweet potato fries. The chicken sandwich was OK and the sweet potato fries were cold. I had the Fish & Chips (cod) ($12) and pub fries. I received 3 very small pieces of cod, which was good. The beer, Easy Day Kolsch, was very good. The service was excellent. Overall, I thought the food was overpriced for what we received. Won't be going back. read more

My family and I absolutely love this place. Such a great atmosphere, the price is right and the service is good too. We really enjoy coming here all times of year. The food is really good and decently priced when compared to other breweries in town. The beer is really good as well. They have a pretty cool sky deck and a lot of seating. You can easily get lost spending hours here hanging out and enjoying the vibe before you realize it. The stonewood pizza oven is pretty cool too, makes for some very good pizza. read more

This place is way smaller than it looks but they spared no expense on the outdoor seating. Smokehouse pizza was good and the ribs are incredible. Beers could be bigger is are only complaint. read more

I brought a large group of people to the brewery, about 35, and we sat outside where there was plenty of room. Our waitress was not at all prepared to handle that many people even though they have seating for twice that many on the patio. She confused the orders, mixed up the billing, and after everyone left, stuck me for my bill and someone else's bill as well. We asked for separate bills, too. When i asked the manager about it, he was lax in getting back to me and said he heard a different story from his staff. (He did not tell me what that story was). He did offer me a gift certificate but obviously didn't believe me even though I gave him a copy of my bill with the server's name and table number on it. Two days later, I am still waiting to hear from him. Shame on you Mr. Manager for poor public relations. My group brought in about $400-$500 in business and your response was apathetic and unbelieving. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BRING A LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE TO YOUR BREWERY. read more

We came here for late lunch. I had the Rueben sandwich and my wife had the Tuscan chicken sandwich. We all tried different beers and the food was great as were all the different flavored beers. Worthy used to be one of our faves, and when we bought a house a mile away, we were stoked that they would be our neighborhood bar, especially since there isn't much like it on the east side. Over the past 2 years worthy has gone a little downhill. Their food seems to deteriorate every time we go and they recently cut their menu in half. On top of that, they completely eliminated their amazing happy hour menu which was a huge disappointment. One of our favorite things to do on a sunny afternoon was sit outside and order drinks and food there. But now we find ourselves driving to Crux or goodlife for happy hour. The straw that finally made me decide to leave a review is that they have this amazing garden/outside area with fire pits and patio heaters, yet when it was in the 20s and colder the last couple nights they didn't have the heaters or fires going outside. We would have loved nothing more than to walk to grab a beer and hang out by the fire pits, but we didn't. Such a disappointment on a beautiful,snowy bend night. As locals and people who would like Worthy to once again be our go-to bar for winter fires, happy hour, and bringing out of towners, we beg you to please reevaluate some of the changes you've made. New to Bend and met some friends here on a Friday evening. It was super packed which is a good sign. Took awhile to find parking and it's not like they have a small lot. The place was hopping! We didn't have to wait too long for a table and the service was prompt and very attentive. I forgot our server's name but she was very nice and took time to explain the menu and go over the beer list. Beer was good, I got the Secret Spot pale ale and no complaints. I ordered the Magic Bus burger and thought it was great. Really good fries and I tried the chipotle aioli for dipping sauce. Not as spicy as I would've liked, but still good. One of my friends ordered this torta with carnitas, looked amazing...I'm def going back to try that! My wife got a flatbread pita sandwich that she liked but didn't knock her socks off. I wanted to try it but I was pretty full from my burger and brew! Good atmosphere, good service, food was real good. I'm being stingy with my 5th star, but I'd give it a legit 4.5 if I could and definitely would recommend this place to others! read more

Worst place I've been at... Ordered food and it came out wrong... Had to ask waitress after 15 min of food coming out to take the extra off bill... She asked if there was anything that could be done... I asked for water and I watched her deliver water to 3 other tables and then the best service from her was when I wanted to pay... Quite prompt then. Service horrible... Then when I filled out a comment card... They just threw away right in front of me... Will never purchase worthy products again based on poor service and the straight rudeness of throwing away comment card right in front of me! If I could rate a 0 I would...purely based on the service and the inability to tend to customers! read more

Service is intermittently okay and the food is way too expensive and lackluster, but the beer is good.

As a local, I have to say Worthy is one of our best breweries. Both the food and the brew has always been excellent. The only downside is it is always very busy and can be a wait to get a table, but that should get better when the expansion is finished. read more

Great addition to the east side of town. Huge place, both inside and outside. Love the outdoor area, especially the fire pits! Food is pretty good, the usual pub fare. Beer is good - a nice variety, something for everyone. Appreciate that they purposefully avoid the overpowering hoppy beers that are so popular in microbreweries. Worthy Brewery was recommended to us by someone on the chair lift, and we are so glad we took the advise. Definitely worth a visit. It also has a great outdoor patio with fire pits. I went for lunch recently with friends. The waiter was very attentive and the food was good. They have taken care of the landscaping on the south side and I thank them very much. A good deal of construction going on right now. Will be interesting to see what the changes bring. read more

Overpriced beer, overpriced food that is nothing special, serving sizes are small. $6.25 for an Imperial IPA is a joke, they need to get over themselves. There are a lot of breweries in Bend, with BETTER beer and more affordable. Seating is crammed, hope you enjoy bumping elbows with strangers while you eat. Service is ok, but wait times can be long. I used to go quite often, but since they raised beer prices, I won't go back, too many other fantastic options in Bend. For a couple buck's more than a pint, I'd rather go buy a six pack. read more

Really looked forward to having a brew pub on the eastside of Bend. Unfortunately I have had bad service experiences the last three times I've been there. Food is good, wait service is good, but the hosts are awful. Have been forgotten twice and told they could not accommodate my larger party despite having called ahead and being told they could. Very frustrating and very flippant responses from hosts when told of our frustrations. One bad experience can be a simple mistake, but three constitutes a pattern. read more

No reservations are a challenge during the cooler days when outdoor seating isn't an option. If you can get in there, its a great atmosphere (read the recycled wood stories near the bathroom), beer is good though I wish the had more selection, and food is among the better selections among Bend breweries. read more

A-OK or Meh, I've experienced better? The facility itself is impressive, no problem there. On an earlier visit, I had a flight of their beer and it is all pretty good. For this visit I had their imperial IPA, and it rates an A-OK. The problem is that there is a lot of competition in Bend, and there are better IPA's and imperial IPA's ranging from Yay to WooHoo. As for food, daughter had a Caesar salad with a slab of salmon added. By the time she got to the bottom of the salad, there was essentially no dressing left. Ho hum at best. The mac 'n cheese sounded really good on the menu - made with gouda. It was okay, but it seemed as though a cheese sauce had been poured over macaroni and then heated. Somehow the flavors did not meld, nothing like the "to die for" mac 'n cheese at Brother Jon's Alehouse in downtown Bend. My happy hour pepperoni pizza was okay, and the nachos that we shared we pretty good also. But this is the problem; okay and pretty good don't make us want to come back soon. Service was another story. It may have taken our server 10 minutes to show up after we sat down. There was a mix up on the order, and it took a long time to get that straightened out. It took forever to get our check, and I had to be kind of assertive to ensure that it didn't take another "forever" to get it taken care of. Maybe the server was having a bad day, but it also appeared that their process was inefficient. Our server took orders on a small notebook pad and then (from what I could observe) entered the order on an electronic console. With some really good food and more efficient service, this place could be a real winner. read more

Go here for the pizza. It's amazing, tucked around the back of the bar is the chef tossing pizza dough and using their awesome looking pizza oven. As far as the beer. Average. It even seems like the waitstaff doesn't care that much about it either. I ordered a saison, the keg blew before i received a full glass. They changed the keg quickly and what was served to me was a cloudy glass of suspended yeast. It looked like a german weiss beer. The bartender told me to try it, uh no thanks. Wow! If you had 5 million dollars to build a brewery from scratch I'd imagine it would look something like this. This was the megaplex of the Bend breweries and it kinda felt like it. The beers were good with a decent selection. The atmosphere felt like Walmart. There is something to be said for a brewery that starts small and grows with demand. These guys just went for the top from the start. Someone had some serious money to put into to this place. Worthy felt a impersonal like a Rock Bottom or similar corporate empire. All in all good if BIG is your thing. read more

Stopped by for a celebration and Worthy Brewing did not disappoint! I had the beet salad with grilled blackened steelhead. Steelhead cooked to perfection! Others in in our party had burgers and pizza. First time to Worthy for several in our party. They are definitely planning repeat trips. Highly recommended! read more
