What's not to love about this location? All units are within a 2 minute walk to toes in the sand. Some have a wonderful view of the awesome Pacific Ocean. The resort is quite challenging to get into and the units are smaller than the average WorldMark condo. Still, this is by far one of our faves! Staff is very friendly and take good care of us.

This may be our family's new weekend get away destination! So easy to get to, 101 to 156 is the easiest way. About 7 miles from DT Monterey, easy hop to get good food and Monterey fun without paying Monterey hotel prices and Monterey tourist traps. Located on the dunes, steps away from private beach and public beach. The nightly bon fires are so fun. 2bd/2ba condo, updated, has everything you need. Nice kiddie playground. Stay here w your family! You won't regret it. Quick tip. The on site restaurant sucks and is expensive. Do yourself a favor and eat in Monterey!

This is my new favorite beach get-away. Location, location, location! Only 2 hours from the Bay Area, drove down on a Friday afternoon, watched the sunset then picked up a few items at the nearby Walmart for an easy dinner. Woke up on a Saturday morning to a spectacular display of grey whales breaching outside our window. The units are small but nice and clean and the landscaping is considerate of the natural wild flowers indigenous to the area. Enjoy the hot tub or relax on the Adirondack chairs facing the Pacific.

I asked for the twin beds to be pushed together. There is a bed bridge in the middle.

This is my favorite timeshare. I love the Carmel and Monterey area. The beach is steps away. There is a pool and Jacuzzi. They do bonfires in the evening. I go to Carmel to my favorite restaurant Casanova for lunch or dinner. My favorite breakfast place is Rosine's in Monterey. I took a lot of pictures of the timeshare. It sleeps six. The king bed with bath. The twin beds with a bed bridge to make it a king. You cannot feel the bed bridge. The queen Murphy bed. Pictures of the bathrooms, kitchen, living room, washer and dryer, the TV, heater, and hallway mirror. They have complimentary wine and cheese from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm. The heaters keep the rooms hot. Sometimes it gets very cold in the evening.

Amazing Little Bit of Heaven for our family. With a Gorgeous Beach minutes of walking away. Wow what a nice two room unit. We have this Worldmark Thursday to Thursday. And... some pictures follows: Phil's Fish Market n Eatery at Moss Landings. Not to be missed!!!!!!!! Old Fisherman Grotto at Montery Old Wharf. Not to be missed!!!!! Don't believe me? Just Yelp it!!!!!!!! Hmmmm. Not to be missed. Can we YELP yelp? Ditto to Vida A's YELP on Worldmark Marina 8 months before me. Yes my Fire Place gives me that Warm Fuzzy Charm. Really, REALLY miss my old Motel 6 days. My last WorldMark stays were... WM Tahoe South Shore 3 bedroom Twice, WM San Francisco, two bedroom Twice. WM Windsor(Gosh this was a huge and grand sleep over). With WM Bass Lake Yosemite next. Hmmmm. Any YELP'R like me stayed at Motel 6 Pismo Beach. Well believe. No Fire Place at that M6... if I recall. Oh. Should you want to know. WM Marina two bedrooms units appx 850 sq feet. Or TEN times more than my stay at Motel 6 Pismo. Douglas, Belen, and the other staff that attended to us are Wonderful, Wonderful people. Kudo's to 4 WM's staffs we met, needed so far. Today is Sunday. South. Carmel by the Sea is like 16 miles away. Big Sur 40 miles. North. Moss Landings 6 miles. Very convient a super Walmart in Marina is 5 minutes away. Neariest Costco is in Sand city or Seaside city. 8 miles from WM. WM Marina to Montery Aquarium 11 miles.

We stayed here in July when the weather was fairly chilly and windy. Has the weather been nicer it would have been great. Our room was about a 3-5 min walk to the beach. Where we watched the sunset and there is a bone fire pit, which they light and you can bring snacks, etc. it's nice if you want to socialize with others that are staying there as well. Cons: Unfortunately when we arrived they were doing maintenance. We were told we would not have hot water for a couple two a few hours. A bit disappointing. Especially when you have sensitive skin and the sand and salt water mixture will cause a rash (if not properly washed off shortly after). This is a great place for families or groups to enjoy time with one another. At the beach, BBQing, cooking in the kitchen, etc.

    Beautiful view!

Beautiful view, great accommodations & awesome staff! Two bedroom & two bath was well stocked & nicely designed. Easy access to the beach. I would definitely stay again.

This place is absolutely amazing. The resort is beautiful. Michael at the front desk was able to check us in early and he was so kind, friendly and helpful. Our unit is perfect. It is very tastefully decorated & has great TVs and a stereo. We have a great view of the ocean. It is so nice to sit out on the balcony and listen to the waves. I really appreciated the courtesy call from the front desk to see if we needed anything and to know they were available 24hrs a day. EVERY person that we encountered that works for the resort has been so friendly and helpful. Seriously, everyone. My 2 kids (ages 10 & 12) were able to use the heated swimming pool this evening and they were very pleased by the size of the pool as well as how warm it was. The daughter even got to play at the playground today. The very short walk to the beach was breathtaking this evening. A bonfire was set by staff at 6:30pm. Very nice touch. The resort is very close to many restaurants. We drove to Seaside for a late lunch and dinner. We will definitely visit this gem again. We will be sad to leave on Monday but glad to be celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary at such a lovely place. Thanks Worldmark Marina Dunes!

The additional space would have been nice for two adults and their furry friend. It was still a great room with an awesome view of the dunes and water. Check in was terrific. The lobby is beautiful and stocked for a quick whatever you might want. There is a backyard behind the lobby that is sheltered from those pesky ocean breezes with firepit, tables, chairs and other stuff. Nice touch. Our room was spotless. The bathroom was very nice. Clean and let me say that the shower was fantastic. There is a heater/fan in the bathroom that made getting out of the shower, pleasantly warm. Toiletries are of nice quality. Our dog, Sian found the stick library very useful and she had a blast going after it on the beach and in the ocean. She even brought it back to the library the morning we left, for others to use during their stay. The pet welcome is a nice touch. This site is very pet friendly. Not so much for the timeshares that are on the same property. And that's fine. Parking is not allowed at the units. You are driven to your unit by one of the great golf cart drivers. Zach was our driver. Loaded all our luggage on to the the cart. As we journeyed to our cottage, Zach pointed out sites as well as amenities. Unloaded our luggage as wll as went and got us ice as we settled in. If you need help getting to your car, onsite restaurant or the lobby, just call the lobby about 10 minutes before you want to go and someone will be there. The restaurant is great. We ate there twice and had breakfast delivered to our unit twice. The bread platter... OMG... the bread platter. We loved it so much that we went to Otto's bakery in Salinas on our way out of town to bring it home with us. The restaurant is not open for breakfast but, at check in, you will get a room service menu that that's how you can have breakfast onsite. More on the restaurant in that review... Can't wait to go back. Have to say that overall, this is probably in our top 3 of vacation spots. Including Hawaii. It's just great.

We paid around $1,000 for one night, so I arrived excited and expecting something special. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. Many of the pet-friendly touches that influenced me to book were missing at check-in. There was no personalized dog welcome setup, no dog package, and my dog's name was not on the welcome sign until I called later. I had also requested a simple welcome card for my mother-in-law's first trip to California, and although staff said they would gladly do it, it was never done. We also had multiple room issues throughout the stay. The TV was not working, the phone buttons to reach the front desk did not work, there was no extra pillow for the fold-out bed, and there was even a leftover dog chew from a previous guest found in the bed. To be fair, the maintenance employee was kind and helpful, and the complimentary bottle of wine was appreciated. However, for this price point, the lack of attention to detail and overall service was really disappointing. What upset me most was checkout. I politely explained that I was disappointed and thought at minimum the pet fee might be removed, but there was no effort to make things right beyond emailing the receipt. Beautiful location, but the experience did not match the cost or reputation. I truly wanted to love this stay and left sad and let down instead.

It was the reason we chose this hotel. Apparently, this has been an ongoing issue with other reviews, and they still are not correcting it. The pool is uncomfortably cold. We weren't the only guest who decided not to swim because of the temperature. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This. Place. SUCKS!…read more You can hear EVERYTHING. The engines and security beeps of every car in the parking lot. The obnoxious kids running and yelling endlessly up and down the hallway outside your door. The neighbor's TV and conversation and snoring in every room adjacent to your own. Every door opening and closing all night long.... And that's just OUTSIDE your room. Inside, the AC/fan is loud and the beds creak and groan every time you breathe. I barely slept might #1 and judging by the crowd of elephants that just entered the room next door, I won't get much more tonight as I'm typing this at 11 PM. The layout of the room is awful. As soon as someone opens the door, everyone inside is blasted by either the outdoor lights or the sun. The bathroom is ridiculously tiny. You can barely get inside to close the door to use the toilet. The shower curtain bar was falling out of the wall, drooping, and causing the curtain to continously slip to the middle of the bar, letting all the shower spray out onto the floor. And nevermind any soft or adjustable lighting--it's all harsh, bright light ricocheting across mirrors so no one can sleep if one person is up. The floor creaks when you walk and was filthy and gritty when we arrived. There's mildew and mold in most corners and all over the bathroom. The toilet seat is such flimsy, cheap plastic you can't sit on it without it sliding half of the toilet or bowing under you. Did I mention that you will hear all the screaming and crying children on either side of you all hours of the night? The parking lot was NEVER full, but the place still put everyone in consecutive rooms when clearly there were empty rooms that could have been used to space us all out to make buffers for noise since this place has zero soundproofing. The room as a whole was grimy and dirty. Stuff on the walls, paint peeling, bathroom and bathtub surfaces cracked, rusted, and moldy. Absolutely disgusting. The only positives I can cite are the blackout curtains (worked well) and that there was a mini-fridge and microwave in the room. The continental breakfast was okay, too. But if you actually want to sleep on your trip, don't stay here. This place clearly does not care one bit about helping you get a decent night's rest. Never. Ever. Again.

It offers a TV (which I was too stupid/tired to figure out how to work), a desk to eat/work at, a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. All things considered, it offered a lot of features for a 2-star motel. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staying in Marina, I didn't feel the need to turn on the A/C and the room was comfortable to sleep in. No random noises or altercations waking me up, so a huge plus for my experience here for the night. Staff - The gentleman who checked me in was very kind and even offered to open a bottle for me when I bought a Jarritos for my dinner and didn't realize it needed a bottle opener. Check out was smooth and they offered me a goodie bag to-go which included a yogurt, banana, clementine, granola bar, and pastry. It was very generous and considering the event I went to didn't offer breakfast or lunch, it came in handy!
