Yelp states that their Saturday hours are 11-5, but I've called twice today with no answer and no response. I drove to the address that shows up on Google, but 6452 Lontos Drive appears to be a residence and not a business. Even called while I was there in the area, hoping to get someone who could tell me where they were. I had a laptop to drop off, but it's going to someone else now. 1-Jul-2014 Updating my review from 1 to 3 stars, because Josh was nice enough to contact me and apologize, and actually have some suggestions for improvement. This is what Yelp should be, I think. One suggestion for businesses that advertise on Yelp: if your address shows up on Yelp and you run your business out of your house, you might make sure that people know that up front, and whether it's okay to show up at your door or not. read more

This is the first review I've ever written for anything or anyone, but Josh deserves a big shout out! After researching techs online and reading lots of reviews, I called Josh for a problem with my HP Envy touch screen. Joshua of World Tech Force did a fantastic job troubleshooting a problem with my son's laptop. I requested a quote, and he responded immediately, even though it was after hours last night, and scheduled an appointment at 10:30 am this morning to try and diagnose the problem with my son's computer. Eventhough the computer itself wasn't salvageable, he was able to retrieve and save all my son's data off his laptop. This was crucial because my son had worked the past several days on his latest music project and would have been devastated if he had lost all his hard work. I have a 2008 Macbook pro that wouldn't power on anymore. I didn't want to take it to the Apple store because I figured they would just tell me that I need to buy a new laptop. Josh disassembled my laptop, cleaned it, and diagnosed the problem, which was...nothing. Since he determined that there was nothing wrong with my laptop, we figured out that the issue was a bad charger. I was only charged a small fee for labor, then Josh referred me to his friend's store down the street where I was able to purchase a new charger at a sweet discount. Josh was even nice enough to answer my pesky questions about an iTunes debacle and laptop shopping. I plan on bringing my new laptop here to get the specs maxed out instead of paying retail for a top-of-the-line model. I had my reservations about going to a private residence, but I am so glad that I did! You just don't get this kind of service in retail settings. They certainly don't have lovable dogs like Teddy at the Apple store. I was completely charmed by the entire experience. I don't think I've ever felt "charmed" when I've had something repaired before, but that's the only way to describe it. read more

Phenomenal Service! My MacBook Pro 2010 gave out due to Hard Drive issues and a worn out cable. I managed to get the parts needed for repair, but decided to rely on Josh's expertise to put it together and add an OS. He did it within hours and my computer is like new! I couldn't be more grateful. I didn't get to use his services for my data recovery to due time constraints on my end, but I recommend letting him do diagnostic work for you and most likely he can handle it. Most data recovery places are insanely expensive. Josh will quote a fair price. I'd recommend him to anyone in the area. I couldn't start my mac since last Saturday. I tried many ways posted online to reboot my system such as pressing the optoin+control+P+R keys all together and so on. Unfortunately, none of them works. I gave up and went to the Apple Genius Bar last Wed. It was the worst experience I had. I have been told I need to replace the logic board and it costs $512 (+tax). Then, I found Josh. He is a very nice guy providing timely and fair cost service. I also recommended Josh to my colleague. Her son threw a Lego brick on her mac screen. A note to the owner/fixer of my computer: Thank you from the bottom of my heart for resurrecting and saving all my data and giving my computer a new hard drive. I cannot tell you thank you enough!! I took my MacBook pro to Apple Support and the consultant told me "I've worked here for 7 years and I know what I'm doing and I promise we can't save your data, you need a new computer. And next time back up your data. This is a hard lesson." 1) just buying a computer on a whim is not on everyone's budget 2) apple support tried to sell me a new thousand dollar computer instead of trying to fix it, and made me feel bad about myself for not being tech savvy enough I had priceless pictures from my wedding , honeymoon, vacations, family pictures, college pictures, etc etc etc that I could have lost. I would have given an arm and a leg to save those precious memories. I left Apple Support heartbroken and in tears for all those memories that they told me couldn't be retrieved. You charged me honorably $140 to 1)retrieve data from a crap hard drive, 2)backed up my data to an external drive, and 3)gave me a better new hard drive with more space. You are amazing! Josh is THE MAN! Updated my 7 year old computer to Windows 10 and moved my iTunes library, documents and photos from one computer to another. Josh text me along the way with updates. He ended up recommending wiping my hard drive and installing Windows 10 fresh. When I picked up the computer, he had it plugged in and demoed it for me. I contacted Josh because I spilled a very large glass of water on my keyboard. Josh explained to me possible issues that could occur and that he wouldn't know the full extent of the damage till he opened it up and looked inside. From my description of events he estimated if he could fix it the repair would be $180.00 - $200.00, but if the repair was more complicated or more expensive than that, he would notify me immediately to ask if I wanted to move forward. If I didn't he would charge a small sum of $30.00 for his time in taking apart and diagnosing my computer. (Which I thought was more than fair) He estimated it would take 3 or 4 days to look at it and he called me exactly 3 days later with the news. Unfortunately, I was one of the ones who's damage was extensive enough (yay me!) that the cost of repair was going to be close to the cost of a new computer (but still cheaper than Apple quoted me). So I opted not to move forward with the repair. I was more than happy to pay Josh the $30.00 for his time taking it apart and diagnosing it and I will absolutely be using his services in the future for all my computer needs as well as recommending him to my friends. Josh is the man. Three separate techs, including the not-so-"genius" at the Apple store told me my late 2012 iMac was virtually unfixable. After some quick diagnostics, Josh informed me that all it needed was a new hard drive, which he said was no big deal to replace (even though it required pulling off the screen, which seemed to be the kiss of death according to the Apple twits). Sure enough, he performed the swap (at an extremely reasonable price) and I've essentially got a brand new computer. His motto should be "no big deal," as that's pretty much the approach he seems to take with stuff that most of us non-techies freak out about. He's definitely got an unorthodox style, which may turn some folks off, but that's what I like about the guy. Certainly a departure from the "you're lucky I'm even speaking to you" attitude copped by (most of) the dinguses at the Apple store. read more

I inquired about this guy's services - he quoted me an over inflated price with out even asking questions, When I gave him more info in an effort to get him to understand my needs, he became confrontational.
