Just got a call from this company after they said we had won I knew what was coming next. You have to go to a presentation on expensive products and "no obligation" What scares me even more is that they have 5 star reviews from people leaving only a couple of sentence reviews. How is Yelp not monitoring this? Anyway they said we needed to come in right away for the presentation to get the reward. I was contacted after the Addison Bridal Show and was asked to come in with my fiancé to hear a presentation on Carico china,cookware, and crystal. since we won a choice of two prizes a vacation, engraved glasses, or wedding bands. What happens: -Listen to a pitch for fancy China and pots and Cutlery. (90 mins) - fill out a survey about the presentation - they're going to try to sell you the pots and pans. The items are nice, but they're a little pricey for us so we passed on it and got our vacation package (it's through a travel company) and certificate for the glasses. If you like it then buy it if not move on. I don't think they're scamming ppl it's just a pitch. They're persistent but not bad people. The only comment I have is maybe they could update their presentation to something more digital. read more

Coming in we were very skeptical because of friends saying this and that about similar companies/sales pitches. Bruce was very polite and a great job. Bruce was informative The products are so user friendly and a great price but they want you to finance like it's a loan where the interest rate is 24% on $799 cutlery. When you say no or start to act as if you are not interested Bruce can get a little rude but it's expected he is in sales. But the same soft spoken person that gives you the presentation is not the same you get once you decline. The other guy was extremely nice and super helpful and he is in training! read more

Predators on new couples!!! They set up booths at bridal shows luring newly engaged couples in with a free cruise and other prizes. All you have to do is go sit through a seminar and listen to some creepy guy named Bruce talk about how he is accredited by the BBB and how much he loves the stupid cookware he is trying to sell you. He cooks for you and brags about how delicious it is. It's not anything you couldn't make in any other pots and pans, AND it's not even that great. He doesn't let you leave until he has a chance with every couple to give another sales pitch. His sales pitch is already signing you up to buy pots which are $4000. Explaining to him that we didn't want anything didn't work. I even left the room to read reviews and found nothing good. When I came back Bruce would barely let me talk about my doubts with my fiancé and he basically pressured us into buying two of his pots. Not a big deal? Out total was $800!!!!! Guys, you can go on two cruises with that and not have to pay for useless ugly pots. And here's a note. There's no refund. Once you sign you're committed. All of our money we were given for our wedding has to go to two small, ugly pots and there's absolutely nothing we can do about it. Save yourself a trip, money, and tears and stay away from this very skillful scam artist. read more

Business preys on young couples. My fiancé got a call that she had won a trip to a tropical island of our choice or a gift card for free wedding bands. They told her all we needed to do was come to their office sit through a short presentation and we would receive or prize. I am naturally skeptical and knew for the most part what this would be. We walk into the office building and this office is bare bones, nothing on the walls, 1990's era radio playing on the only desk in this big room. The "secretary" asks us to fill out a survey and take a seat in the room down the hall. There was nothing in this room but the products they were pitching and a very old tv and all the windows had the blinds down. It was very unsettling. Another couple came in seemingly as uncomfortable and nervous as we were. A man named Bruce presented the kitchen ware at an almost silent volume and as robotic as if he has done it a million times. "These are going to make you healthy and save you money" yeah. Ok. This presentation was 2 HOURS LONG. I began to get paranoid as he spoke so softly you had to lean in to hear, the blind are down and the door behind us is shut. When it was finally over the only way we could leave with the prize we had chosen was to sit down with Bruce and choose a package to purchase. Now they said at the begging of this whole thing we would not need to buy anything to receive or prize but this is not how it seemed once we spoke one on one with Bruce. He asked if we like anything and I said I thought some of the pots were neat and before I finished my sentence he was asking for my credit card to finalize our purchase. Although those pots were neat, I had no intentions on spending thousands of dollars on some pots and pans right now, so I told him we are not financially able to pay for this now. This guy dropped the price by about a thousand dollars when I said that and I still said no so he dropped it down another 500 hundred and added another vacation. If a salesman will do that, how much is it really worth? I continued to say no for 10 minutes as he repeated himself and tried to give me the deal of a lifetime until I said I don't want anything and that's it. We took our gift card for the wedding bands and left and I'm very skeptical of they are legit. This is all very shady and if you are not strong willed or stubborn about not buying something they will take advantage of you. I will update this once we see how the rings work out but I doubt they are real. If you're gonna do this be careful. UPDATE: rings sucked. They were a scam too. read more
