Okay so this has been my goto spot ever since they had only a few options of empanadas and now there are so many to choose from. Obviously I haven't been going there since the pandemic but it has still serve me well via Postmates. I know that they got rid of my favorite empanada creamy corn but they actually brought it back but it isn't on the Postmates menu :/ Anothee thing is that they took of the breakfast burritos and they were literally rated #1 breakfast burrito in burbank so I HOPE they will be back soon! Great place for breakfast. Although it's not the most authentic, the empanadas are impressive. There's very little seating, so this place is best for take away or delivery. The beef empanadas my friends and I had were bland, but maybe that was a bad batch. Little to no wait after ordering. Service here was amazing. read more

Great Empanadas! I like that I can order by phone and pick up on the way home. Try the Spinach ones and the Dulce De Leche ones.

This place is very close to the Blizzard Arena and my girlfriend and I have been here a couple times now because it's so good! The first time we visited, they were out of 70% of their menu because it was so late. The last time we visited, we ordered so much food because we loved our last order!! All of the empanadas are delicious, hot, and begging to be dipped in the sauces they have. I love mixing the sauces for my empanadas! It adds that little spicy kick! This place is awesome! There is a nice selection of different empenadas all of which are tasty. The outter pastry crust is delicious and flakey. The different salsa and chimichurrie are both flavorful. The most important part is that it's cheap. You get plenty for 7 bucks. Friendly staff/owners. Wonderful food. The fillings are savory and wonderful but the crust really makes them. Often, empanadas will be wrapped in dough that is too tough, too thick, too hard. This place is awesome. Fantastic food, great taste. Once every few months, I order a dozen empanadas to savor over several days. The vegetarian and vegan options are absolutely delicious. You can do without meat and sacrifice none of the flavor. The service is also excellent. Once I ordered a dozen but ended up with eleven. I thought I might've gotten someone else's order, but one of the employees, Paula, calmly checked my order gave me an extra one to resolve the issue. DELICIOUS. I'm not vegetarian (by any means), but I could easily be vegetarian if I could eat World empanadas every day. I don't work too far from this place, so I came by and grabbed a lunch box (2 empanadas, green goddess salad and agua fresca). The best lunch for under $10! The spinach and cheese was so creamy and the empanadas aren't too heavy. The sweet corn was my absolute favorite, especially with their house chimichurri sauce. The green goddess dressing on the salad was packed with flavor, too. I also snuck a spicy potato and cheese into the order, just for kicks, and I'm so glad that I did. The spice on the empanada was just hot enough to make me take notice, but it never overwhelmed the other incredible flavors. I couldn't recommend this place enough, especially if you're too lazy to drive to Culver City for Gran Casino (like me)! read more

Parking is terrible in this part of town. That's not the fault of World Empanadas, but does keep me from coming here more. I've had pretty much everything they offer, I think. And it has all been good. Prices are reasonable. Service is friendly (very important, amazing how may restaurants don't know this). If you order a bunch of empanandas, they will mark the lid of the box for you so you can identify them if asked. My wife and I stopped here to grab a quick lunch on a rainy Saturday. It's a great little spot, not much seating or space, but really clean and welcoming. We got 4 empanadas: chili con carne, spinach and cheese, Santa Fe chicken, and soy chorizo. Funny enough we both liked the spinach and cheese one best. I also got a chicken tortilla soup which was pretty good, although I don't think I'd get it again. However, I will definitely be back for the empanadas!
