We did a 12 person team bonding event here for my daughter's club volleyball team. It was perfect! The owner was kind and helpful throughout the process. We had the room that was part of the expansion and could bring in our own snacks. The girls picked the item of their choice to paint and then I picked them all up a few days later. I highly recommend supporting local and booking an event here!

This is for the framing center. Two stars for the store in general. Zero stars for framing…read more We've literally framed thousands of dollars at Michaels. Not this one. Dropped off a custom commissioned drawing. It is irreplaceable. That went well. In three weeks got an email to pick it up. Just kidding. The framer quit and as a parting gift notified all clients, done or not, to get their framing projects. Jokes on us. Fast forward six weeks and still waiting. Tried to call multiple times and when you select the option for a representative it immediately hangs up. As if someone picks up the phone and puts it back down. Waited another week and went in. It was lost. They found the physical picture in a stack. Nothing in the computer. Manager shows and it is found. Beyond frustrating given the past experience at a Michaels elsewhere. Harsh words exchanged and refund given. Stepped over the children rolling around the floor by the bathroom, never to return. Quite honestly they are probably relieved.

I could be wrong, but I have noticed some of the big chain businesses in Pflugerville are a little bit smaller compared to most of the big cities in Texas. My experience here the first time was smooth and fast. My wife and I came here for some Christmas decorations. Needless to say when we shop together we have the same type of buying taste most of the time. The service of the front desk is pretty fast when busy or slow. All the staff have greeted me with a smile and ask how I am doing as I walk into the store and when I am shopping around. As another elite Yelper stated in their review this store stays stocked and has a great selection to choose from and value of their deals/sales for the products are not bad at all. Parking here isn't too bad at all. Getting into and out of the parking lot is a bit challenging due to the Stone Hill shopping center's layout of back to back intersections. Overall, I enjoy my shopping experiences here and I look forward to many more.

I was building a retirement plaque for one of the most respected Chiefs I've ever worked for and needed help engraving a logo that Chief had originally designed years ago. Without hesitation, Sandy said yes. What started as a simple CNC engraving project quickly turned into something much more. Sandy opened the doors to the shop, welcomed me in, and made me feel like part of the team from day one. He and Gus generously shared their knowledge, answered countless questions, and spent hours helping bring this project to life. As if that wasn't enough, Sandy and Gus also built two additional gifts for the Chief's retirement. Those projects took many hours of their personal time, yet they never asked for anything in return. Their generosity, craftsmanship, and willingness to help are truly rare! The customer service at Woodcraft is second to none. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping others succeed. Whether you're a seasoned woodworker or just getting started, this is the kind of place that makes you want to learn more and keep coming back. Many of the items are made in Japan but they are starting to see the influx of Chinese manufactured goods, to their detriment. As usual, my visit with my sister and niece the Saturday before Easter went well and lasted much longer than it should have because I always peruse every. single. aisle. (I might miss something if I don't-crafters, you know what I mean, right?!?) Anyway, our party headed up to the register, chatting away and laughing with one an other, having just a great time being present in the moment and looking forward to our upcoming holiday day with the family. Then, it happened: the cashier, who was clearly not having a good day, did nothing more than mumble my total when I checked out and then was downright nasty to my sister to the point that she asked her if she was ok as the girl scanned her purchases. The question seemed to exacerbate the bad mood, so we just walked away. She very obviously did NOT want to be there. Talk about a mood killer! I was so bothered by the interaction that I called the manager from the parking lot, who seemed pleasant on the surface but obviously just wanted me off the phone and seemed put out that he had to take a customer call. I told him what happened, explained that I'm sure she didn't really mean harm, but that he had a clearly upset employee in the most customer facing role in the store. I thought maybe if he knew, he'd want to do something else with her time while she was in such a bad state that day. I don't know what action he took, if any, but I did try to help. This was disappointing, but it won't stop me from going back into HL, which is one of my favorite places in the world. It definitely gave me pause and makes me wonder what she must have been going through that day to be in such a horrible mood. Also, I might check out the location in Georgetown, instead.
