I have been using FastFrame for more than 30 years and their quality in workmanship is why. I used FastFrame in another state so I was pleased to find a FastFrame when I moved to Austin. I have already had multiple items framed from this location, but recently I brought in four pieces. I piece I asked for some special modifications to the piece and they were able to accommodate all of my requests. You can't even tell where they made the modifications I asked for. The frame materials they use are the best and they really live up to the name "Fast". When I brought the items in, they told me when they would be completed and it wasn't that long of a wait. But to my surprise, they had them all finished a week sooner! The people who work there are also the best. Kate helped me and she is absolutely amazing! She was great at helping me pick out mat and framing, sizing and everything I needed. When I picked up the finished products, they were perfect! They even came out better than I expected. I have to drive an hour to get to FastFrame and there are other framing stores closer. But none do the same great work as FastFrame. I cannot recommend them highly enough and if you have anything you want framed, you'll be so happy with their work. read more

Years ago, my family had a watercolor done of the boat my family lived on - yup, hippies on a boat! - and it ended up in my possession. It is as close to a family heirloom as my weird family has, and it means a lot to me. I took it to Fast Frame to have it preserved properly. I worked with Teddy, who had a great eye for recommendations of various color schemes for the frame and matting. While the finish product wasn't cheap, it was done well. It did take a while - a little over a month, partially slowed by the recent snowpocalypse, but it was worth it to have it done right. My husband and I have used Fast Frame countless times in the last 2 years. Whenever we pick up a finished product, we're usually also dropping off another to be framed. It's always such a pleasure to go into the shop and work with the team on creating the best frame for our art. Everyone working there is professional, has a unique eye for beauty, and appear to truly love their job. It's exciting to see the final product on pick-up day and we're always impressed with the result. On at least two separate occasions, the team has gone above and beyond to find the right frame and even make their own when a particular wood was out of stock/no longer made.
