I was originally referred to Contessa, but they were booked up and could not turn this in time. Contessa recommended DTW so I took me two drawings in and met the owner. The framing was actually done before the promised date and looked exquisite! One of my pieces sold at the opening reception and the other sold a few weeks later! The show closed on April 19th and I received an email from the Neill-Cochran House Museum that one of the 2 pieces was voted "Fan Favorite" by those who visited the exhibition! I have already had multiple items framed from this location, but recently I brought in four pieces. I piece I asked for some special modifications to the piece and they were able to accommodate all of my requests. You can't even tell where they made the modifications I asked for. The frame materials they use are the best and they really live up to the name "Fast". When I brought the items in, they told me when they would be completed and it wasn't that long of a wait. But to my surprise, they had them all finished a week sooner! The people who work there are also the best. Kate helped me and she is absolutely amazing! She was great at helping me pick out mat and framing, sizing and everything I needed. When I picked up the finished products, they were perfect! They even came out better than I expected. I have to drive an hour to get to FastFrame and there are other framing stores closer. But none do the same great work as FastFrame. I cannot recommend them highly enough and if you have anything you want framed, you'll be so happy with their work.

The staff member who helped me was super cool and really understanding about my budget--I didn't want to spend a ton. He made thoughtful suggestions and even brought out visuals so I could actually see what he was describing, which I really appreciated. They called me first thing Monday morning (right after the holidays!) to let me know it was ready for pickup. When I went to grab it, I was blown away--it looks fantastic! I ended up at Arrowhead after hitting up a couple other shops who couldn't help. The guy there (I think his name was Harlem) was able to take a moment to not only detach the frame, but carefully remove the glued art, clean the glass, and reassemble...all as a courtesy. He also shared the risk of framing anything valuable between glass for risk of condensation/mold and other expertise along the way. Even though I wasn't there for any custom framing, his care for the art, frame quality and preservation far surpassed my expectations. Just filled my heart right up with gratitude. If you have any art or valuables that would relish in a crafted display, keep this family business on the top of your mind.

The class felt a little scattered - but it was a very easy going environment, super relaxed. Our instructor was friendly and encouraged us to tap into originality without overthinking it instead of looking up patterns or inspo on our phone. I really liked that. And she offered us all coffee, freshly made. You can basically come in to do all the arts and craft your heart desires, on a donation basis. Affordable and unique way to release your artistic side without investing too much in all the supplies and then an abandoning a hobby. I'd come back with a friend and check out a different class.

After talking to a few pest companies, not only did they get the species of ants wrong (acrobat vs carpenter) which affects the bait being used, but they also can't get their story straight. I contacted them about an ant infestation inside my home. The technician who came out placed sugar bait inside to eliminate colony. He told me that an exterior treatment was not necessary at that time. I accepted that recommendation, due to potential exposure for my active dog. Months later, I called to follow up because the ant problem had not been resolved. I was then told the $216.50 treatment of simply adding sugar bait for the interior also included exterior treatment during the original visit. That was surprising because I was never told an exterior treatment had been done. When I asked where it had been applied, they did not give me a clear answer regarding the exterior. Paying for another treatment isn't the issue. If the ants require another visit, I'm happy to pay for it. My concern is that the explanation of what was actually done has changed. Now, they're saying I have to pay another $216 for their services again. Something just isn't adding up. If there's a reasonable explanation, I'd like to hear it. Based on the conflicting information, I have little confidence in their service.

Instead of simply treating it, they let me know so I could have the bees safely rehomed before they started producing honey inside my walls. That level of care and attention really stood out. The quarterly exterior treatments have been well worth it for me. Wasps and ants are a recurring issue around my home, so keeping up with regular service has made a big difference. If I have a specific problem between visits, like a wasp nest, they're quick to come out and take care of it. Most of what I need is included in the annual service. Mosquito treatment is an additional charge, but that's separate from the standard plan. I also appreciate that they don't push unnecessary interior treatments when there aren't any issues. Their pricing is competitive, and their payment and scheduling system is excellent. It's easy to manage appointments, and they're very responsive by text whenever I have a question or need service. Overall, I've been very happy with Atex and would definitely recommend them.

The convenience of immediate service came at a steep premium that I wasn't prepared for. Would I use them again? Only in a true emergency where no other options exist, and I'd request detailed pricing breakdowns upfront. For future customers: Get clear, written estimates before work begins, and ask about all potential additional fees.
