Stopped by for a quick bite and got the classic double patty smash and it was such a nice meal. Juicy meat with that crispy smash edge and perfect amount of sauce. I ate it way too fast before I even realized what was happening! The packaging was a great touch too! I haven't seen a fast food establishment wrap it so eloquently like a fine dining burger. I'm definitely coming back and trying the other burgers and maybe grabbing some fries and wings next time!

This place was great! Great quality fast food with a Korean twist and a space with a clean look. The burgers were a delicious twist on Smashburger. The pickles were pickled in an Asian style as opposed to the typical dill. The miso carmelized onions added such a refined umami taste to the burgers. We enjoyed the woosmash burger the most. The wings were also delicious. We tried the woomami and soy garlic wings. The woomami was a bit of a Cajun spicy wing (but not very heavy on the spice). The soy garlic was basic but well executed. We tried the loaded fries which were super customizable and also delicious. The owner came out to greet us and check in. He insisted we had to try the corn ribs and gave us a complimentary order. He had a point, they were rubbed with the same spice mix as the other wings and they were SO good!!!!

Ordered in via the Yelp app. New spot on Bloomfield Ave in Verona. Prompt delivery. Good burgers and fries. The corn ribs were a nice treat. Prices pretty good. Will try again.

Omfg it makes NO SENSE for something to taste this dang good. I got the bulgogi smash and corn ribs. Sat in my car outside and ate it. Wish I ordered 5 more. JFC. That's it. That's the review.

We were in the mood for a burger and chicken tenders, went to DoorDash and found this new local place. We ordered a smash burger Woo signature which was delicious (I appreciated the amount of pickles) and 2 ordered of chicken tenders which were basically fried full breasts. Tried the soy garlic which was great and the woo spice which wasn't very spicy. Onions rings and fries. Everything was great and we had chicken and fries leftover. All food was delivered fresh and crispy. When we are in the mood for fried food - we will order for sure.

No exaggeration, I've been here 3 times in the past week and everything I've gotten has been SO good. As a Korean, Woo perfectly incorporates the flavors of Korea while maintaining the structure of a burger and keeping it traditional enough where it still feels like a solid burger. Even if you're not a huge fan of Korean flavors, the quality of the burgers are ridiculous and consistent. I've brought 10 different people here and they all agreed that this has to be one of the best burgers they've had in a while. The owner is always here and working hard with a smile on his face. Nicest guy ever and the rest of the staff is always extremely accommodating. Although the restaurant itself is a bit small, the design is very chic and modern. Wanted to gatekeep this place so it doesn't get too busy but Woo deserves all the business in the world!

This is my favorite burger spot in New Jersey. It's by the owner of Bloom, Woo. Here's what I think you should know: - Vibe is relaxing. No reservation needed. - My favorite burger is the bulgogi burger but the signature smash burger is great too. The wings are so good (I had the garlic ones). And if you're feeling adventurous, try the corn ribs. They're really creative. - Food is relatively cheap too.

Woosmash absolutely lived up to the hype. These are seriously great burgers by Chef Woo, and they did not disappoint. The Woo Classic burgers were incredibly juicy and cooked perfectly, and the sauce was outstanding. We also loved the chicken tenders -- perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice and unbelievably tender. One surprise favorite was the corn ribs. It was our first time trying them, and they were so, so good. Definitely a must-try. We finished with a shake, which was not overly sweet and really delicious. Everything we ordered was spot on. Highly recommend.

I had to actually go back and rewrite this review. You see, I recently stopped by to try WooSmash and I was blown away by their Woo Classic Burger. I went home and wrote a review, but I didn't have time to post it, which turns out was a good thing, because I returned to WooSmash the very next day (yeah, it was that good) and tried their Corn Ribs and knew that I had to include it in my review. The Woo Classic Burger is easily the best burger I've had in recent memory. Made with miso caramelized onions, really great house-made pickles, house-made pickled jalapeños, American cheese, and their own "Woo's signature sauce". With the very first bite you know this is something special, and at just $6.99 it's an absolute bargain. Now, you may think you've had good smash burgers elsewhere but trust me, none of them are like this. Corn Ribs are not something I've had before, so I didn't know what to expect, but they might now be my new favorite thing (at least the ones at WooSmash are). I can't really describe them (I've included a picture, which might help). Again, trust me on this, you have to try them. WooSmash has a variety of other exciting smash burgers, as well as a whole second menu of Korean fried chicken, plus other sides including tater tots (and seriously, who doesn't love tater tots?). The space is spartan with a modern aesthetic, spotlessly clean and with enough tables to make dining-in an option. The staff were all warm and welcoming. Woo, the owner, does the cooking himself and will answer any questions you have. Definitely talk to him. He's a fun guy. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but it's worth the effort. This new entry into the Verona food scene is definitely worth visiting. I'm already looking forward to my next burger (and corn ribs) at WooSmash!

Huge portions of very good Korean fried chicken. Each time I ordered, I had leftovers for lunch the next day (and the food stays). I've tried crispy, soy garlic, and snowing cheese. All good, but my favorite order would be soy garlic wings with a side of rice and pickled radish. Fries and onions are fine, but it's just too much fried for me (taste preference). I stick with plain rice and radish to balance out the bold flavor of the soy garlic sauce. I liked the bulgogi beef bowl, but the kimchi rice just wasn't my thing. I like kimchi on it's own, but the kimchi rice was a little too much for me. Maybe if I ordered add-ons to the bowl, it may have worked for my taste preference. Yeah, you can customize; some ingredients are free, some are upgrades. I also like their choice of sustainable (biodegradable) takeout/carryout containers. Good for the earth and also never had any spillage while in transit.

Not too spacious inside but we were lucky to grab a table for 3 right away. This is the kind of place that the workers don't speak much English or they just don't wanna chit chat. You get menus, another fill out sheet aka your order you wanna place. Waiter comes and grab them and then brings out food. No small talk no nothing not even a welcome. Which hey, socializing isn't for everyone? I didn't mind but would've been appreciated by others that never tried soup dumplings before. The soup dumplings were very soupy which is great, only one ripped while picking up. A lil tip? Let it sit for a few before trying to bite into them. The steam is no joke and the bun holds better. The pork buns were filled with flavor. The noodles? Not too sure I understood the flavors? The bubble tea was overly sweet. Overall I'll def only go back for the soup dumplings and dumplings in general. It wasn't a WOW I will die for more situation but I'll def come back for more. ***3 1/2 stars***…read more Maybe it lost something in transit or I didn't get the right pie, but I wasn't blown away by this place. I've had Tony D's on my list for a while, knowing it had a solid reputation amongst the North Jersey Italians (and what better demo to have it from?). Yesterday was a perfect opportunity to order/grab some pizza and bring it over to my top-tier chum in nearby Montclair for lunch. I didn't do a ton of recon so maybe there was a more obvious/modern method to ordering, but from what I could tell, this place was pretty old school and I just picked up the phone and called over - honestly can't remember the last time I did that, but it brought a nice whiff of nostalgia for me after years of ordering on apps. Didn't realize that Tony D's is literally right around the corner from my BFF Cloverleaf, so the location is pretty convenient if you're in the area. The parking in Caldwell can be pretty annoying, and even though I'm sure I could have rolled the dice I paid a little less than a dollar to park up the street further into a residential neighborhood. Given that Tony D's is exclusively delivery/pickup joint, I think they should pay for the spots right in front as a courtesy to their customers coming in and out; maybe they do and I missed it but if not... Anyway. The guy behind the counter was VERY nice/friendly, and even though I was a few minutes early based on the estimated ETA off my phone call, the pizza literally had just come out of the oven and was ready to rock. From that vantage point, top-notch service. The specific pie that seemed to be their go-to was the Drunken Grandma, which is usually one of my favorites (vodka sauce on pizza should be much more prevalent in my opinion) but I wasn't crazy about the chunks of tomato on it. In hindsight, would have been easy to pick off or even to request that they not be included to begin with, so that would be my recommendation based on this experience. I opted for a square plain pie, especially since I knew that a few young pups would likely be sampling the wares; seemed like an overall safe bet. Optics-wise, I thought it looked very good, and I don't regret going square here. The crust for me was probably the best part, and I made sure to strategically grab all of the corner pieces once we started eating. Nice crisp to it for sure. The overall taste of the pie just wasn't my thing. I wasn't crazy about the sauce (maybe another argument for the vodka sauce, right?) and the cheese was just okay. Tasted to me more like generic by the slice pizza, which isn't my preference. My top-tier chum liked it more than I did, so definitely could just be an issue with palate preference here but this might have suffered from inflated expectations. I'd give them another shot if a similar circumstance presented itself, but I'd go with the pie it's known for - there's a reason the Drunken Grandma is front and center in almost every review. Learn from me.
