Love the unique manner in putting together the dishes with fresh local ingredients! Wine choice is phenomenal!

We always have a fantastic meal at Woods Hill Table. Outstanding food, friendly service, and Andrew--who does the wine list--never lets us down with some good "juice" with every meal. This is our local fave that we visit again and again. The ambiance is so cozy especially with the fire going in the winter. read more

Must check out if in the area. Fresh food, great service. Make a reservation in advance, as this place is always busy.

Went with a large group (7). All the food came out at the same time and was excellent. No one was disappointed, although I went looking forward to the Burger and a nice glass of red wine, only to find out they ran out of burgers that night. The sausage was my second choice and I was not disappointed. Now I need to go back for the Burger and call ahead to place my order :) read more

Amazing dinner in the private chefs room which was beautiful. Such a fantastic night! Can't wait to return and sit at that bar. To all - you should absolutely make this a dining destination. read more

We ate here with friends when it had just opened. We had a reservation and waited at the bar while awaiting a friend to arrive. Such a beautiful space, comfy seated large bar area with friendly help! Once seated at our table, our appetizers, beat salad, bread, entrees and desert were scrumptious and the wine we ordered outstanding! Our waiter was patient, well-informed and friendly. We loved the whole experience and will definitely be back. Especially since they care so much about healthy and sustainable ingredients! Kudos to Kristen and her staff! read more

Top notch cuisine, ambiance, service for a special occasion. Reserve way in advance for popular time. House wine-by-the-glass is a "blind date" with whatever the owner has lined up at the time, but turned out to be good value and generous measure. read more

Wow! During a week in which we were lucky enough to also dine at No. 9 Park and Alden & Harlow, Woods Hill Table was by far our best meal. In order of appearance: The new rustic decor and piped in jazz were both comfortable and refined. Great for a date or friendly dinner. (Probably best to leave the kids at home.) The bar was super. We had Maple Manhattans with just the right combination of bitter and sweet. Interestingly, all of the alcohol served is from small craft distillers. If you ask for Tanqueray, Glenlivet, etc; you'll be directed to a similar, hopefully more interesting, craft version. We admire the bartender's skill and confidence. Mesclun salads with pear, sweet potato, chevre and sesame were the best salads we've had in memory. But they're big--one salad would be plenty for two. Roasted beet soup was complex, interesting and delicious. Skirt steak (from their own farm!) with tallow frites and watercress salad was excellent. The tallow gave the frites just the right degree of depth to stand up to the steak. The watercress was a bit heavy on the salt--but at this point we were already in love, so it hardly mattered. Apple galette with coconut ice cream was the perfect ending--crispy, creamy, tart and sweet--but not too heavy. Service was excellent throughout. A great combination of knowledge, friendliness and timing. Our new fine (but friendly) dining favorite! read more

Have been here several times. Going again tonight. Food is fresh and plentiful. Service very attentive.

We had a early dinner reservation last Friday night. Decor and ambiance is excellent, they really did a great job with the restaurant. Parking is poor, allow yourself extra time. Although I'm excited about the new restaurant in the neighborhood, I have noticed that spots are now hard to come by in West Concord. The service was excellent, waitress, and front of house were very attentive. The owner was walking around and stopped by at tables but did not stop at our table. Their beet salad was good, and the oysters were fresh. Prices for shell fish are comparable to an Island Creek Oyster. They have a great drink selection but I thought my cocktail was on the weak side. The kitchen was fast, probably because we came on the early side. I ordered the today's cut of beef which wasn't great. The beef was a bit over cooked and lacked any real taste. The dish was served with watercress that wasn't cut into bite size pieces. The tallow were a bit soggy and cut into very small pieces. I paid a whopping $42 for this dish, which I thought was a bit high. My other guests ordered pasta, the burger, and chicken and all had good things to say. We will be back and I'm sure with time the food will get better. read more

Really great food. Made with fresh and or organic ingredients. Great ambiance and loved the decor inside. Only major downside is it seems that they are booked at least a week out for a table so you pretty much have to sit at the bar area as a walk in. Oddly it didn't look like that were at full capacity at all when I was there even though all reservations were booked for the night. Something seems weird about the way they seat customers and where.. read more

Wow! so glad this place is in Concord. This restaurant is very beautiful, great ambience! Food and cocktail menu was fun and creative. Our meals were delicious and the drinks were nice and strong. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Though this place is out in the 'burbs it could easily hold its own among any Boston/Cambridge area restaurants. I will be coming back here again and again! read more

Delicious food, amazing vibe and decoration, really recommend this place, specially for lunch!

Great food. Service is sometimes slow. Love the cheese plate. The bar and bar staff is amazing.

Really delicious food, great atmosphere. Very nice to have an upscale option in West Concord.

Had dinner at Woods Hill Table for the first time tonight and already looking forward to becoming a regular. The decor is light, open and welcoming with a fireplace that made for a cozy welcome on a rainy Fall evening. We had reservations for a table but ended up sitting at the bar because we so enjoyed chatting with the bartenders. The lamb and the gnocchi entrees were both sublime; the hint of lemon in the gnocchi was surprising and wonderful. A different and terrific wine list; tried a Sicilian red and it was delicious. We can't wait to return! read more

Pretentious and overpriced, this supposed gem failed to meet our expectations. The waitstaff were pleasant and helpful, but their service was quite slow. Our drink orders were incorrect; I ordered a tonic and lime, but got a gin and tonic. As I don't drink alcohol, this was not OK. My daughter's drink was also not what she ordered. They did replace the drinks promptly. The dinner was so-so. I had the grilled chicken breast with dark-meat-and-root-vegetable pot pie with kale. The chicken was dry and bland. The vegetable side was excellent! Best kale I have ever eaten, and the root vegetables had a lovely smoky flavor. My husband was unimpressed with his pork dinner; the butternut squash was, quite literally, a smear across the plate, barely a forkful. It was our first time eating at Woods Hill Table, and our last. For a fine meal, with excellent quality, good value, and great service, go to the Ninety Nine right across the street. read more

Top notch quality of food. Ambience was great! We loved the salmon poke. The fish just melted in the mouth. The cheesecake was excellent and ingenious. The crust was 'deconstructed' -for lack of better words. I am not a big fan of the dry crust or hard crust in my cheesecake and so having that nice soft buttery crumble separate from the cheesecake filling was like someone finally read my mind :) we had the cod for entree. I thought the crust of the fish was a bit salty. The insides were perfectly cooked and not salty. I prefer less salt in my food....overall a great experience which deserves 5 stars. read more

We went to Woods Hill to celebrate my daughter's graduation from AB High School. We left with one of the worst acts of management I've ever experienced. And by the way, if you are planning on eating here, be aware that the average time for a two top to eat dinner is over 1 and 1/2 hours, 4 tops are over 2 and 1/2 hours-a quote from the General Manager. More on this later. We came with my daughter's Grandmother and Grandfather, Aunt and Uncle, brother my wife and myself-an eight top. We had a reservation and were seated on time. We ordered appetizers and main courses. 2 hours and forty minutes later we were still waiting for a check. During the meal our server (who was gracious the whole time) continued to apologize for the delays in our food-both bread, appetizers and main courses.. Before the main course (it was over 2 and 1/4 hours) I told our server that I appreciated the apologies but the food was really taking too long. She apologized again and went over to the service line. Our table was situated where I had a clear line of sight to the service line (where the kitchen delivers the food to the servers). It was chaotic all night and a young man in a dress shirt was working diligently to expedite the orders. You clearly see there were some delays. After the server got to the service line you could see there was a great deal of discussion between her and the chef. There were other servers waiting in the area and nothing was coming out. Our server clearly looked frustrated. this went on for about 10 minutes. There was not manager in that area. She came back to apologize again and told me they were short staffed in the kitchen that night. About another 15 minutes later our food starting coming out. 3 were served, 3-4 minutes later another 3 then the final entrée. We ate our meal and I mentioned to our server that I'd like to talk to a manger about the delay. (We had not been approached by a manager even thought they walked by our table a number of times). She spoke to gentleman who after talking to the chef came to our table. "I understand you have some issue with our service. Was the food worth the wait?" he opened with a hint of sarcasm. I told him that reminded me of the classic line: "Well Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?" I thought this was the beginning of as discussion of our problem but it was not. I was firmly told that their food is made to order and that was the way it was. No apology-no recognition of our problem-just hey our food is great-too bad your took an extra long time. I continued to wait for the check. The check came with no further comments form the manager. I asked the manager if this was it (bear in mind our bill with the mandatory 20% gratuity. Which I hope all goes to the server as it should per Massachusetts labor law) was $660. Not an insubstantial amount.. He said again that they cooked their stuff from scratch and it takes a long time. I pointed out to him that I saw 2 tops and 4 tops arrive after us and leave before us. we were after all only two four tops-why the extra time. "Sorry sir-nothing we can do" I asked to see another manager. The General Manager came to our table and said he heard we had a challenge with our service. I told him that our server was great but that they seem to have a problem in their kitchen. I explained how I saw the challenge they had with the line and that our server seem to arguing with the chef over our order and . He said that there was no way that could happen. I said I saw it with my own eyes. "Sir she couldn't have been arguing with the chef because he's an executive member of our staff. I would fire her if she did that. Do you ever argue with your boss?" he said. I incredulously responded-"Yes, if they are wrong or are affecting customer service." I pointed out that the that she mentioned the short staffing yet he had not. At this point the GM became even more belligerent and made it clear we would need to pay our bill and needed to leave. I wasn't looking for a discount and I am not complaining about the quality of the food-it was great. Our server was super and tried very hard. She was knowledgeable and did an excellent job of up-selling. The front of house and kitchen management staff though turned this celebration into a ruined evening. A gentle "I'm sorry sir, our kitchen was behind" or "We had a call off in the kitchen" would have solved this. Instead, I'm giving them a one star of what I expect will be many more unless they address this issue. I know this is a new restaurant and needs to get its legs under them. They won't be successful if their front of the house personnel don't begin to understand that repeat customers and word of mouth can make or break a new local business. I did note that there were other reviews that picked up on the arrogance. Arrogant management will kill a restaurant no matter how good the food. Good luck read more

We have been there a number of times. About one month ago was the last. food is average to good, prices are very high for what you get, menu is extremely limited, wine list is average, service is highly inconsistent. Some of the staff are very good, some are awful. The hosts range from inexperienced to downright awful. The kitchen is incredibly disorganized and inconsistent and the chef is simply mediocre. read more

My partner and I have dined at Woods Hill Table many times since its opening, and the experience has always been satisfactory. If we are eating a complete dinner, we will sit at a table, but often, after the theatre, we will stop on our way home for dessert and drinks, and will sit at the bar. On Saturday evening, immediately after being served at the bar, the bar staff decided to begin cleaning. Instead of the subtle nose of the not inexpensive wine, the only smell was that of dishwasher and cleaning fluids. A quiet conversation became a completion to be heard over dishwashers, clattering dishes, and banging cabinets. A complaint to the bar staff was met with smirks and rudeness. A review of Quicken shows Woods Hill Table yearly purchases of over $1,000. When combined with the purchases of friends and dining companions whom we would meet at the establishment, we provide over $2,500 in revenues - money lost to Woods Hill Table through the smirk of a bar tender who was impatient to close for the night. read more

A delightful birthday celebration at this charming restaurant. The birthday girl was greeted with a personalized menu with no prices. Meal was delicious, and the generous servings meant we couldn't try their desserts. The beet salad was yummy and enough for two. Tried the chicken breast because of the intriguing variety of accompaniments. All delicious. The wait staff was quite attentive until meals had been served; then it became difficult to request refills on water or other drinks. Hope to dine there again soon. read more

When you walk to your table you quickly know that your dining experience will be special. Tables are comfortably located giving you space to enjoy your meal without bumping into other diners! From beginning to end we enjoyed our meal! Our waiter Bob was attentive and the service was not slow. Our entrees were delicious and we also decided to have dessert, "Chocolate Petite Gateau" and it was one of the best desserts I have ever eaten at a restaurant. Atmosphere was great, great choices for background music. Normally I wouldn't comment on the bathrooms but some of the items they had for use were bobby pins and hairspray at no cost. I highly recommend visiting Woods Hill Table, you won't be disappointed! read more

Ok so I'm a concord native and had been for drinks etc but tonight was my mothers 83rd birthday. So somehow my reservation got lost but no worries! The owners totally hooked me up and got me a table right away. Forget the reviews that say that service is sub par. I had THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE HAD since I had a New Years table at the skybox at Daniel in Nyc. I'm serious. Food and service were SUPERB. Cannot recommend this place enough. Fantastic in every single way. Bravo! read more

Woods Hill Table . . . WOW! We've been here three times since it opened. Each time as wonderful as the last. To start the place is gorgeous both inside and out. Warm, welcoming with lots of variety in places to sit. First time at the bar for fun cocktails and delicious apps. The farro risotto with crab and lobster was amazing. Flavored with leeks it was to die for delicious. We had the scallop crudo shucked right in front of us. Delicious citrus flavor. We felt it needed a little salt and pepper and it was brought right away. The beet salad is sublime. Red and golden beets with kumquats, yogurt, and pistachio crumble. Delicious. On our second and third times we sat in the dining room on the kitchen side with friends. First time with a vegetarian friend. She had the celery root entree which was beyond delicious. The skate and salmon were both really well prepared. Especially liked the cauliflower rice. The chocolate layer cake dessert is the best thing in the world. Second time we had the burger. Quite possibly the best we've ever eaten. The gnocchi with mushrooms was the most incredible gnocchi I have ever eaten. Soft pillows of pasta in a delicious sauce with grilled mushrooms. The service is efficient and friendly and it is clear the staff have tasted the food and know the menu. Special kudos to the delightful woman at raw bar Mimi(?), Sommelier Jeremy and the young barista. Can't wait to get back and try the ceviche, charcuterie, and the pork chop. Run, don't walk to this amazing restaurant. read more

We had a great experience here last night with a group of friends. We'd spent a weekend up at the restaurant's farm last month and knew we had to see the other end of the food! Service and ambiance were lovely, and we enjoyed a variety of dishes. The stand-outs for us were: the broccoli appetizer and Pate de Campagne, and the hake and burger as mains. A wonderful night at a wonderful restaurant! read more

Came here with some friends to the bar and had a great meal. We opted to stay away from the usual burger (though now I wish I tried it) and went with the risotto (vegetarian) and the monkfish. The risotto was fantastic, the monkfish was a bit 'rubbery' but made up in flavor. The cocktails were great and the bartener (Thomas I believe) was funny and very nice! read more

The best restaurant in Concord, without question. Bob knows his stuff and will take care of you, whether it's an entree recommendation or a conversation on Canadian football. What a beautiful restaurant! And the food and libations are outstanding, as well. Enjoyed a wonderful summer Friday evening here. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the six month aged Negroni to the oysters to the succulent burger, cooked exactly as I ordered with the right ratio of bread to meat to accompaniments (including a perfect fried egg). There isn't anything I can find that wasn't at the very least as I expected it, if not better! MAYBE I would ask why the prices of your red wines by the glass are roughly 1/3 of the bottle prices, not the restaurant standard 1/4th. Are they heavy pours? You may want to note that on the list. West Concord isn't front of mind for me, but I will make it a point to have it be. You're worth it. read more

We've been coming here since it opened but it has been declining in our opinion. The menu is so limited & overpriced. $51 for a steak? Bland fish options. $31 for risotto but just a $1 more for full entree chicken dish? Weird. No fun, shareable apps (sort of odd to share plate of carrots ) except a starter salad which would've been way too large for single diner to eat anyway. I requested seating for four on the bar side in reservation. Instead, we were seated in large round table in center of room right next to kitchen entry. Lighting over table was harsh & w/all the kitchen clanging & foot traffic, (plus oversized table), it was impossible to have a conversation. Oddly, on Sat nite, place was not full at all but here we were seated on center stage. Service was meh. Husband asked for mayo for burger was told there was no mayo just aioli. Seriously? $21 for a burger but you must have their aioli & bland ketchup? We get & appreciate farm-to-table dining but this place is getting to be like a Portlandia sketch. Lastly, two burgers ($21)each, 2 entrees ($32) each. 1 carrot app & 1 starter salad. 2 glasses of house wine & 1 beer, 3 coffees. Over $250 with tip. Utterly ridiculous. We still appreciate their sister place Adelitas, (which is genuinely fun) Woods Hill brunch remains good but this was our last supper there for sure. If not heading to Boston, go West to Gibbet Hill, Forge & Vine & The Station--all in Groton--they are way better options in every regard. read more

I met friends after work for dinner at Woods Hill Table because they're farm to table philosophy really appealed to me. The staff and ambience were very welcoming. I alerted my server to my food allergies/sensitivities and they take this very seriously here, with a though check on everything. They were also able to change my entree slightly to accommodate my dietary requirements. I started with the oysters, and had the hangar steak for my entree, both were delicious. Our server was excellent (don't know his name, but he had long hair pulled backed). Thanks so much for a wonderful farm-to-table dining experience. read more

I ordinarily use this app to find a good place to dine on a weekend night out, but this is the first time I felt the responsibility to leave a review after my visit with Woods Hill Table. I dined here Sept. 8th, with my wife, when a vivid display was put on by the manager, that of which included the breaking of plates and the cursing and screaming at his employees. Multiple parties viewed and heard this episode along with us, unquestionably creating a rather uncomfortable and threatening environment. We questioned a member of the staff afterwards, and were told similar stories - all of which were negative and concerning. It is upsetting to us that this establishment operates in such a manner involving typical maltreatment and tempers running wild. We were informed he has been working here for years and that this type of behavior is by no means a rarity. We advised the staff to quit and reassured them that this is NOT how any person should be treated, needless to say in a professional place of employment. Leave your personal issues at the door and operate as a healthy, respectful, human being. This is a rather large issue that needs to be addressed immediately. We would never come back here seeing how poorly the place is run and I MOST DEFINITELY would not come back here if I were a member of the staff. read more
